Found this little gem on the way to the airport. Wanted to stop in somewhere for afternoon tea to farewell a visiting friend. Upon arrival I was warmly greeted and tended to by staff. They treat it like their home, the feeling in this place is lovely. Freshly baked traditional Italian treats to tantalise your tastebuds. Loved this place, recommend the Almond and Orange cake or even the Lemon Tart! Loved it all!!!
Lovely Italian pasticceria. Inconsistent coffee, sometimes great but sometimes not depending on the barista (ongoing training would be beneficial). Great range of pasticcerie, a little on the pricey side and also hit and miss. Sometimes fresh but sometimes not so. Beautiful ambience, easy to park and away from the bustling intersection.
Amazing treats- very high quality and very authentic. Owner is lovely when you get to know him. Gelato is incredible. We always get a box of biscuits whenever we go out for dinner with friends and often stop in for an arvo coffee and biscuit. There hasnt been a biscuit I haven't liked. I'm in love with their cannolis. Coffee is fantastic too. Just love this place.
Nice place for a business meeting. Easy to park and find. Good coffee. Awesome sweets. Food is a bit overpriced for what they serve, but still good.
Come here for a selection of traditional Italian sweets and pastries. They're not cheap, at a minimum of $1.50 per biscuit (or pasticci), or sold by weight once you buy more than 10, but they are pretty good. Good texture and level of sweetness.
Waitstaff were helpful and patient while I was deliberating..
A great array of traditional Italian treats - what to choose, what to choose... Wonderful engaging service, the owner came and sat and chatted with us. It was a great experience, we will definitely be back
Sweet italian heaven. I've never been to Italy so I can only go off what my taste buds tell me here. And they tell me they're absolutely in love with the cannoli. Sometimes I find that the oil taste is a little too prominent in the pastry at other places but not here and the pastry cream is always silky smooth. The other assortment of Italian sweets are also delicious too. Some of the sweets can seem a little exy, so this place is a treat for me.
Sweet sicily. It reminded me of the shops in palermo.
Although not as elaborate, the collection of patiscinni is very reminiscent of palermo. The ricotta cake, is definitely like the one I had in sicily. Perhaps less sweet and less creamy, but the crumbly crust is just spot on.
I have a biased view on arancinis. The one I had in mercato di capo is the best I've ever tasted and nothing else will ever beat the taste of it.
The arancinis here are good enough, but not spectacular.
It's a really nice patticceria and I would love to go back for morning or afternoon teas. Not sure about how good their breakfasts or lunches can be.
It's really quiet and having a sweet and a cup of coffee, takes me back to sicily. And the coffee is good too!!
The owner is friendly, he may be a little rough. But I did not observe the rudeness that some of the other reviewers are saying.
Lovely food. Terrific place for an authentic Italian sweet treat. I've been to Italy and can say these pastry delights are right up there with the delicious food I experienced in Italy. They've just started a lunch menu which is very exciting, so I'm yet to try that. The coffee isn't the best - quite weak, so if you prefer something strong, better ask for a double shot! The customer service is ok - nothing to go to town about and I've found the owner over the years to be a typical Italian fella. I’ve only experienced one mildly rude encounter with a young girl working there who got my takeaway order wrong and tried to charge me more for it. When I corrected her on the matter she seemed very unimpressed, but the owner promptly fixed this and gave me extra pastries to make up with the mistake and charged me the correct amount. Overall, it's a lovely place for a nice weekend treat!
Not the best coffee, but the sweets were amazing. The owner was warm & welcoming.
Great treats, bad customer service. Delicious pastries, but the male owner is terrible at customer service. He always acts like you're interrupting him having coffee with his friends outside, he NEVER smiles, and he is just grumpy and unpleasant.
But oh, the baked goods. They're amazing. I used to go here regularly, even with my dislike of the customer service provided by the owner, because the treats are just that good.
We love coming here, the selection of biscuits is excellent as with the quality of them. Big yummo!! Second to none. The owner is great too, very friendly & always chats with us. He is also very generous with his serves & even throws in a few extra towards the end of the day! We always have a good time here, the coffee is great & sitting in the courtyard is quiet & peaceful considering Sandgate Road is behind the shop! We will always return here.
Wow. If you are ever in the area, you MUST go to Dolci Sapori. The Italian sweets are absolute bliss.
Hidden from view. Ok, this place is amazing... I can't believe no one has bothered to write a review for it. They have good coffee and their italian desserts and pastries are unrivalled. The shop is hidden in a small shopping complex on the cnr of Sandgate and Junction rds (on left coming outbound from city).
Dolci Sapori has been baking traditional Italian sweets on the premise for years but the shop has recently undergone a facelift for the better.
Fantastic range. Fresh. Clean. Delicious. Words cannot describe the cakes. Yum
No joke, best iced coffee in Brisbane. Lucy makes it smooth and creamy every time with no sugar or additions required. Bakery items are also top notch 👌🏻
Attended lunchtime on a Sunday. Very friendly staff with great service. Lunch meal was awesome, berrer than some of the popular resturants. Great selection of sweets and pastries that were absolutely fantastic. Will recomend to friends and family and will be sure to return again. Thankyou!
Lots of Italian desserts to choose from including biscuits. Gluten Free variety as well. I had the Frtata for lunch. Was very tasty. Good coffee and friendly staff with outside seating.
Great place to pick up quality baked Italian goods, the guy behind the counter was genuine and engaging. Keen to try the coffee everyone's raved about!
We have been coming to Dolci Sapori regularly (average once a week or more) for about a year, and we absolutely love this place!
Large selection of pastry and savoury, and everything we tried has always been delicious. Owner and staff are always supper friendly and accommodating.
Great atmosphere overall, and they are dog friendly too. Our dog goes with us every time and is always treated super well and spoiled by everyone!
Dolci Sapori is one of our favourite places. If you want a sweet treat, but only want a little bite, they cater for that. Great staff...
