Review Atelier Brasserie - Brisbane

Pretty damn good! Quality of the produce used is really of top notch level. Dishes look fabolous and staff is really friendly! The place seems still new so there are some minor things that could be improved (some staff seem a bit stiff/inexperienced, food could use some more seasoning/salt here and there and the room fragrance is a bit overwhelming). I'm pretty sure this place is going to get there though, definitely recommend to anyone!

My wife and I had a very fine time here. Our waitress in particular deserved special mention as she was very knowledgeable about the food and the wine, and steered us in the right direction. Steak tartare - very good, a touch - just a touch! - more salt needed. But otherwise excellent, and the crispy addition really made it. No egg yolk though, which is surprised me? Chorizo paste with bread - also very good. My wife loved this dish. I liked it. Fries - ahhhhh, ok. A touch blonde. The aioli has a nice hint of lemon. The wines - Austrian. That was a nice. Recommended by the waitress. All round a very fine meal

It was a lovely night of fine dining in this cozy and relaxed, well operated restaurant few weeks ago. We had 2 young daughters with us - owner and wait staff were absolutely divine, always attending to our needs thoughtfully. Food were amazing, service was timely, it was hard to fault anything! Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family, and will definitely come back! :)

A big thank you to Charlotte and her team for a fantastic lunch today. The food was incredibly tasty and fresh. The service was extremely professional but friendly at the same time. The beverage selection was extensive but very well priced for a restaurant of this class. Our table of 12 were all very impressed and will return.

First class French/Euro-inspired cuisine in intimate tasteful surroundings! Busy but pleasant and serene atmosphere even amidst the Friday evening buzz of King Street. My wife and I received attentive and thoughtful service from the wait staff, but the highlight really was the food. I’m a fan of steak tartare and, although not 100% traditional, had one of the best I’ve tasted. Small but comprehensive menu which obviously has chef Americo’s creative modern twist using the freshest of ingredients. Apparently a new menu starting soon - can’t wait to return to try it. Highly recommend!

Absolutely divine! We went here for dinner on Valentines Day and had a great time! Food and atmosphere was perfect and our waitress was so friendly and entertaining! We even received a complimentary dessert which topped the experience. Will definitely come back. Thanks!

Excellent service, great cocktails and great European food. The steak frites were the best I've had in Brisbane (high quality cut cooked perfectly to your liking) and the steak tartare was delicious. Loved the music choices as well.

Great menu with nice selection food is ample in supply, you won’t go home hungry. The sourdough with honey butter must be the first item selected.

Meant to go next door but they were busy so decided to stop by Atelier and glad that we did. Love the sophisticated decor, great service and friendly staff. The food was fantastic, I had the baked egg and my company ordered the avocado fritters with cured salmon. Definitely coming back for dinner.

We were looking for something new nearby, ventured to King Street and found Atilier. Met on the street by a nice man who talked through the cuisine and style. Enough for me! Had a lovely night and fitted in two courses and cheese platter. Beautiful fresh ingredients and home made potato crisps were a nice touch. Charlotte (owner) made herself known to us and was very pleasant. Throughly recommend.

This relaxed atmosphere new restaurant in King Street is well worth a visit. Delicious food and attentive service are supported by a smallish but excellent wine list. We have been twice now and will be going back. Good value compared to its excellent local competition.

I have mixed feelings about my meal at Atelier. The Steak Frites was a disappointment. The rest of the food though, was good. Service was also good, with water and wine topped up at regular intervals and plates cleared efficiently and unobtrusively. Perhaps it was a misstep in the kitchen but at nearly $40 for the Steak, I expected a high and consistent standard across the meal as a whole. Would I revisit Atelier? Probably. Would I order the Steak Frites again? Unlikely.

We had a beautiful dinner here tonight. Every dish was thoughtfully composed and perfectly executed. Elegant, understated but full of flavour and perfectly composed. Lovely staff. <br/>

Date night and for once I let go of my usual domineering tendencies for one evening and let him decide on a place to take me out to dinner (along with the usual annotation that should he fail to impress, this will be annotated on his record permanently). He didn't skip one beat and said that he would take me to Atelier Brasserie, the new chic euro brasserie along King Street at Bowen Hills.

During the last week doors to the newest venue on King Street opened up, offering chic European style dining, with an ambiance to take you away from your busy lifestyle. Prepare yourself for amazing pairing of flavors and beautiful plating. Steak tartare & bone marrow. The pine nuts in this added another layer of pleasure to this. For those who are wary about bone marrow, just try it, you will be hooked to this sweet, nutty, and buttery ingredient.

If you enjoy great food cooked beautifully, this is your place.  Try all the courses you wont regret it. The staff are very pleasant and friendly without being intrusive.  I'll be back
