Review Aarth Cafe - Brisbane

Absolutely amazing little spot! So glad I was able to find this just searching for cafes in the area. Amazing food, great pricing for the amount you get! Presentation is beautiful and the staff were very friendly. Can’t wait to come back and make my way through the whole menu 🤤

Very nice cafe at Taigum shopping centre on Rogan Road. The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly. I was impressed with my chosen meal, easily the prettiest looking dish I’ve had in a long time. The meal was well balanced and tasted great. It was a generous serve. My dining partner ordered pork belly and beetroot slaw and he enjoyed t very much. We would order both meals again. Sweet Potato Fritter 2 poached eggs, 2 rashers of bacon, grilled capsicum, sumac yoghurt topped on base of tomato chutney and baby spinach.

I’ve spent the last month traveling from northern NSW to Melbourne, Darwin, and Brisbane searching for great coffee, veggie burgers, and chips. This place hands-down has close to the best of each that I’ve experienced. And all of it for just $20! Plus they’ve managed to turn an outdoor dining area adjacent to a shopping centre car park into an inviting space. Highly recommended

This is a lovely little spot with a relaxed vibe! I have had the French toast twice and absolutely loved it both times! As you can see in the pictures the presentation is very consistent and beautiful ☺️

Amazing food, amazing coffee, easy to order from your phone or the staff can come to your table, lovely little location well priced honestly no critiques whatsoever. I go here often and never disappointed.

This has been our favourite cafe coming here almost every weekend. Great food and coffee and everything we have tried on the menu has always been amazing.

Went here and ordered the egg whites on flatbread, added bacon (which was an extra $6 for 1 rasher). Waited 35 mins for our food, when we asked how far away it is we were palmed off and told that it was coming. Food arrived cold, “flat bread” was just a piece of basically uncooked soggy puff pastry, the overpriced bacon was cold, and it was drowned in balsamic glaze. Would not recommend.

I have been here a few times now, orders came out fast, presentation was amazing and staff were friendly. This is an amazing little cafe and I highly recommend it

Very friendly service and wonderful fresh food. A solid list of dishes that can be relied upon. Prices are great and the servings are a comfortable size so you don’t leave feeling stuffed and overfill all day. I have never found fault with the cafe, but the location may turn some diners away. Don’t be fooled. The food will not disappoint.

Once again we enjoyed the food and hospitality of this small coffee shop/cafe. Their food is excellent and reasonably priced. A great place to meet friends and enjoy good food in comfortable casual surroundings.

Great value for money and fantastic food. Religiously go here once a week for breakfast and the quality of food for the money is hard to match. They've ust revamped their dinner menu and it is a great place for dinner too. Highly recommended.

Favourite. Great food and service. The food has real flavour. Been going there for years. My son feels the same way about this place. Recommended if you want quality.

Budget Brisbane lunch!

Aarth is a cafe/restaurant I consider to be one of the best kept secrets in town. Having dined there multiple times for breakfast and lunch I am able to say with confidence that the food, service and prices are exceptional.

I enjoy the classic burgers, sandwiches and open grills which always have a special Indian twist and are flavourful and fresh.

Drinks are always great and a large size for such a small price!

The menu has a wide selection of meals to choose from so if you're not sure what you feel like then just show up and browse.

I'll definitely be back regularly!

My family and I went to this restaurant at the request of my mother to celebrate her birthday.
She told me it was a cafe during the day and an indian restaurant at night so I was bracing myself for ordinary food, especially when we arrived to an empty restaurant, save one middle aged couple.
What I found instead was an little-known gem.

The Positives

We ordered 4 dishes, one was a non-indian dish for the fussy eater, a burger with delicious herbed, thick cut chips, rare to have a range of non-indian options.

The other dishes had the best tasting sauces of any indian I have so far eaten in Brisbane.
I've been to all the indian restaurants & take-away joints in New Farm and Paddington, including the Nepalese, and more around Brisbane, these were the best.
The tikka masala and the fish curry were phenomenal - delicious sauce with a deep, rich taste, never too strong, plentiful portions of gorgeous, perfectly cooked barramundi and chicken.
We also ordered the lamb rogan josh - the sauce was fantastic, with plentiful meat portions but was overall dissappointed, as per below.
The garlic naan was plentiful for the price and did taste good, surprised at the amount they gave us, the waitress assuring us that one serving was enough for 3 people.

The prices were excellent, I was surprised when the bill came, thinking how much less each dish was than Miss India, yet so much better! They also let us split the bill in two.
The service from the waitress was prompt and understanding, never bothersome.
The restaurant was clean, well-appointed and spacious with comfortable seating.

The Negatives

While it was a weekday, the meals took at least 35 minutes or more to be served after ordering. I admit it looked like there was only one chef and one waitress.
When we ordered the prawn dish, we were informed that they no longer had prawns due to the time of year and confusingly hadn't stocked them for months.
As alluded to earlier, the lamb in the Rogan Josh, while large portions, was cut into 1 inch x 1 inch cubes, and was large and dry. Cutting them was a chore and the taste was disappointing, while the sauce was very good.
Cooking them in much smaller cut sizes would have been ideal.
The garlic naan did taste good, but were on the thin and dry side.

I will certainly be going back again and recommending to friends but hope to see some (minor) improvement in the above.

Aarth is handsdown our faviourite local cafe for quality breakfast food and easily the best indian food in brisbane. Not one bad experience in two years. Friendly's and helpful service, consistent top quality products and just fantastic all round. You might wait a little bit longer than your usual indian takeaway but instead of getting something which has sat in a pan all day its made fresh, bursting with flavor and 100% worth every minute. It's fantastic to see a local small buisness doing so well!

I go here regularly for coffee and often the smashed avocado on toast. Yum! Arvo on Turkish topped with feta and seven spice.. just delicious! The almond croissants are also worth a try, homemade and delicious. Always friendly service who know my coffee order! Thanks guys!

Delicious Indian cuisine at great price. Everyone must try the signature dishes for dinner, eggs benedict for breakfast and a burger for lunch.

Have been to Aarth for breakfast, lunch and dinner and am never disappointed! Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Was looking for somewhere close by for breakfast. Aarth looked busy so decided to try. The "smashed avo with feta on Rye" was avo on plain store-bought sliced multigrain bread with a tasteless cheese that definitely was not feta. Could have made something at home 10x better. Service was quick and friendly but unfortunately food was not good at all.

Went to dinner this week .shocking restaurant. Very poor time management .had to wait for one hour twenty minutes for mains. Curries were very average and meat and prawns were uncooked. How can you serve uncooked food. Chef was very defensive of the dish. Not going back this place is a waste of space time and money. Horrible food and will not recommend to any one . Thanks

Food was lovely and the staff attentive the butter chicken wasn't too creamy and had lots of flavour. Went for breakfast too. It was good. Music a bit too loud.

Bad. Too bad delivery too late taking 1hour I will never go again

Lovely brekky and great coffee however their dinner menu needs work. Perhaps only specialising in indian is a mistake as the curry I ordered was sweet and not a great curry. Again brekky is fantastic so take cue from that and work on a broader dinner menu.

So my mum has been raving about this place. She's been here a few times for dinners and for A Christmas party (being the property manager). So I've had breakfast here today and I had a basic toasted sandwich. Bacon and eggs with a tomato relish. My god! For something so basic the taste was amazing! I will definitely be a repeat customer. The customer service was exceptional. Very quick. And the wait time for food was also excellent. Great little business here in taigum. I think it will go far. Next visit will be for their Indian dinners.

This placed has surprised me. It's a random cafe next to Coles and a sushi place and I had my doubts as to if they could deliver. I've been there three times, once for dinner, once for breakfast and once to grab a coffee.

They serve a variety of Indian dishes for dinner, and it was quite good. I asked the waiter what he recommended and he suggested the Kali Murch Murg: a spiced chicken dish with "earthy" flavours. It was good, but didn't wow me and I probably wouldn't order it again. However, taste is very subjective so don't knock it until you've tried it.

My breakfast experience was good, they have a variety of selections from poached eggs on toast with hollandaise to smoked salmon with cream cheese, avocado and rocket on a bagel. I appreciate the variety of breakfast items that they serve at Aarth because you can't find all of their options at other cafes in the area.

Lastly is their coffee. I was really impressed. I didn't know what to expect, but they served me an excellent latte and I would certainly go there again for another one.

Best Indian food. Period.. The food - variety, quality, quantity and taste was absolutely superb.
The service - friendly, efficient and non pretentious.
The atmosphere - just right. There were numerous dishes on the menu that we cannot wait to try, when we return again and again. It's definitely worth the 25 minute drive from our home. After searching and searching for years, we've finally found our Indian restaurant in Brisbane.

The food was divine and delicious, we had the Butter Chicken and lamb rogan josh and chicken tikka masala.... yummy!!!

Great food and good service. Lovely Indian food - fresh and tasty spice blends - yummy! Please support a great local business.

Unfortunately. ...this was close to the worst Indian we have eaten. After paying for it we had to find something else for dinner.

Last night I shared the Rogan Josh and a salad with my wife and it was good enough for me to get on here today and tell you about it... in fact it was spectacular. The best I have ever had.

Amazing. We've eaten here for breakfast a few times and tonight for dinner! It has the most amazing food, great friendly service and if you're there early for dinner it's the best place to watch the sunset! Such a great restaurant!

Well worth the visit by novices to Indian Foods. Last night, Wednesday 15 Oct 2014, six of us, family and friends booked a table to try the Indian dinner. Only one had tried Indian food before. The service from the time we arrived until we left was excellent with the staff attentive, informative and friendly at all times. The menu was explained thoroughly to allow us to choose items on the Menu that would educate, but not overwhelm, us in the wonderful world of Indian cuisine. One of our party is allergic to spices and hot condiments such as chillies, cloves, etc. The Chef cooked a special meal that was greatly appreciated by that member of the party. The food could not be faulted with all expressing, at the end of the night, that we would definitely be returning and inviting other friends to try what we believe is an excellent dining experience. The value for money at approx. $150.00 for a Starter Platter, Main Course, coffee and cake for six is well worth the visit. We can thoroughly recommend the Cafe Aarth.
