What a wonderful restaurant!! Amazing food that you could tell are family recipes made from the heart. 3 of us shared an antipasto platter, mains and dessert - and it was the best tiramisu we've had! Great service, lovely atmosphere, and all of the staff spoke Italian - it made me feel like I was at a little restaurant in Italy somewhere. We will definitely be back 😊
This is one of our favourite restaurants. The pasta is homemade, portions generous and food packed with flavour. If you want trendy and pretentious, this place is not for you. If you want homestyle Italian and to walk out feeling full then it is the best! My only gripe is the lighting inside is a bit harsh - I hate ceiling downlights in restaurants.
AMAZING FOOD !. This restaurant was an amazing lunch experience, clean, comfortable and inviting and great staff, wonderful chef and of course the food was absolutely beautiful.BIG THUMBS UP !
This restaurant is one of our local favourites. Good value, generous, unpretentious, home style Italian. And the vegetables are definitely not McCain's as a previous reviewer claimed!
Yummm. I have been here a number of times now and only ever get the same dish because it is soooo good that I crave it after a few months!
The prawn and pistachio pasta dish is amazing. Fresh pasta, fresh prawns, heaps of pistachios and creamy tomato sauce.
It is fantastic.
Very friendly service, unfortunately cannot comment on the other dishes but the prawn pasta is a BIG winner.
Authentic. The food at this place takes me back to Italy. It is very authentic. If there is a downside it can be a bit slow but its worth the wait. Dont go there if your in a hurry but if you like to take your time then I cant recommend it highly enough
Delicious food but service is extremely slow!!! We arrived at 7, we were served our entree of bruschetta at 7:45 and then didn't get our mains until 9pm. There was only two of us and we could see other people getting frustrated. There appeared to only one chef who I understand is the owner. Wait staff were great but spoken to quite abruptly by the chef! Fabulous food but be prepared to wait a long time!
Visited a couple of times and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The welcome is warm and the staff relaxed and friendly. Mario, the owner, is the real deal adding extra authenticity as he expresses himself whilst he cooks as only an Italian can! Usefully you can take your own wine for a reasonable corkage fee and the weekends sees the place well supported by regulars giving it a great atmosphere. But the most important feature of this restaurant is the food. It is proper authentic Italian food with its own character and is excellent throughout. The crowning glory for me are the signature Tiramisu puddings. Yummy! Take your time an enjoy the evening, it is well worth it
Italian food with Soul. The closest in Briabane to Authentic Italian Food. Having travelled throughout Italy and savoured it's culinary delights, Its a pure treat to come here and be reminded of just how wonderful Italian cuisine is. Simple, delicious and honest Italian fare with loads of olive oil and flavour. It's BYO wine with a modest corkage and also licensed so bring your best friends, pour the wine and have a great night. It can get busy at times and any wait is worthwhile. On weekends it's best to make a booking especially if you want to outside.
Authentic laid back Italian food. We love this place and dine here at least once every two weeks. Mario is a real Italian chef and makes all his food fresh. Simple, honest and hearty with no twisted pretentiousness. When it's really busy u need to exercise some patience especially if your in a large group but it's well worth any wait. We can recommend the meatballs with zucinni and if your looking for a non pasta dish the grilled barramundi is divine. Ask for the chilli oil if u want to spice things up. Book ahead on the weekend if u want to sit outside.
Tiramisu was formerly further up the Paddington drag at Latrobe Terrace. Now on Given Terrace they have indoor and covered al fresco outdoor seating. The chef is Italian and friendly and he makes great Italian food with some regional touches (mainly Sicilian and Neapolitan). This is not modern Italian but rather traditional Italian "home style" cooking with some modern touches. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed and the décor is subtle and not over the top "trying to be Italian" like you see in some brasseries. But, do not be fooled, the food in authentic Italian with a menu that is selective and well chosen with an emphasis on Italian wholefood and slow cooked flavours (even though there is Italian pizza breads this is not a pizzeria). The portions are substantial and there is also a kids menu (the restauant is kid friendly in such a way that it does not intrude on romantic couples). There is a bottle shop across the road also. Tiramisu has become a favourite for locals looking for a hassle free Italian meal and puts much more "voguey" well known Italian restaurants to shame. Highly recommended.
This place is authentic! The menu is spot on, lots of 3 ingredient amazing tasting pastas, just like Italy! The service speak Italian and are very helpful and polite. Prices are reasonable and corkage is per person, bonus!
We ordered the bruschetta, chicken carbonara and the ragu eggplant lasagne which was a current special. We were very fulfilled, can't wait to go again!!

Incredible! I don’t want this meal to end. Excellent atmosphere and authenticity. Will definitely be back!
Tiramisu is brilliant. All fresh pasta and delicious sauces. Loads of options, great specials, super quick service.
It might not have the decor and atmosphere of the other Italian restaurants on the street but well makes up for it!!
Went to Tiramisu for the first time this weekend. Group of five of us. Meals did not disappoint. Fluffiest gnocchi, amazing flavour, excellent value for money and great staff. Thanks Tiramisu team. We will be back!!! The chef even had a sing along it was authentically Italian 👍
