Wow! It has been a long time since my first review of the local restaurant. Again, this time I only have a light brekkie here.
Walked in before 7:30am and noticed that there was only one lady setting up tables. I approached the counter and ordered my flat white and may as well one of the blueberries muffins sitting on top of the counter.
Merlo coffee came with a very stand out latte art and the muffin with cream on a dish. First sip of the coffee proved the barista’s pouring skill, which is smooth with strong aroma and bold body. Hero should be the muffin, which should be the best one that I had so far in Brisbane. It is soft with rich flavour of blueberries. Good job👍

We have Dined there about three times now. The food is always excellent along with the service by the friendly and obliging staff. Will be going back for more good food and friendly atmosphere.
We often go to this gem of a place. Always do brunch for Mothers and Fathers day. Food is great, service is awesome and lovely atmosphere. p.s the coffee and cakes are terrific.
Had an amazing dinner with my partner and best mate. Service was amazing, wine was heaven and the food was delicious. No rushing us even though we were the last diners of the night. Will
Be back for sure!!!
Our favourite local cafe in Logan.
Feels like dropping in to visit family (the ones you love visiting).
Great food, ambience and great for brunch, lunch and dinner!
"Christopher's is the best place in the world" says my partner's parents. We love it too. As regulars, the staff remember or orders and are very friendly. We generally receive our orders promptly and delight in the casual atmosphere.
Myself and some friends came here for a quick bite and a drink for lunch and found a wonderful little experience. The area is designed beautifully inside with a little courtyard area outside so it seems to transform you to another area. The menu is pretty long as well but we just ordered some hot drinks and a bowl of chips.
I ordered a pot of tea and a small coffee for an average and reasonable price. There was only a couple other people there so everything came out fast and the service was good. The drinks were delicious but the chips were exactly perfect with a crisp finish and great sauce.
I ordered French toast and my boyfriend ordered the full monty, his only critique was consistent seasoning all around. His thickshake was delicious and extremely generous. My French toast was swimming in maple syrup which unfortunately made my toast a little soggy and could easily be misinterpreted as undercooked. Also because of this my ice cream melted right in with the syrup therefore I could not eat it before it melted. Easily fixable but still delicious with a generous serving of strawberries.
We visited not long ago for breakfast with a interstate friend. Whilst the food was delicious we were very disappointed by the service. They do not have a high chair for little ones and we were made to feel not welcome due to having a child. There was an older lady serving not sure what her position was but she was not at all customer service focused. Whilst I would love to return to try again I simply won't be due to them not being child friendly.
Nice coffee, tasty food (a little overpriced) and inoffensive decore. Outdoor heaters for chilly winter days or nights. A nice place for a casual breakfast or lunch with friends and family.
Nice. This place was absoultely pumping when my partner and I got there at 9 on a Sunday morning. Every table was taken and the moment one became available, people in line were telling their SO's to shotgun a table. Following suit, I ordered two breakfasts, an OJ and a coffee. The boy serving was also handing out the coffee to tables so I had to wait a bit before being served which was okay with me (it's a Sunday I get it). It didn't take long before our drinks arrived and my coffee was lovely. I'm usually not a massive fan of Merlo coffee but this one was a winner. There was a strong gas smell the whole time, we suspected due to the heater outside. Our food came not long after, the waiter just looked so pleased that he didn't have to weave through all the tables to get to us. The food was nice, I had the Healthy Breakfast with some bacon added. However I do disagree with having to pay an extra $5 for some bacon when I'm already paying $20 for my meal. Pretty expensive for the food you get. The roof is falling apart and you either have a nice view of the counter or a poor view of bleak walls and other people.
Overall a nice place to have a coffee, but too many $$$ to make it a regular haunt
Love It. Love Christophers, have been dining there for years, we dine out a lot all over Brisbane from the Goldie to the Sunshine Coast, but always go to Christophers as it is our local & it's great.. set between Brisbane & the Gold Coast with the Daisy Hill State Forest just up the road, the setting is brilliant, attractive, private, no pollution from passing cars etc.. the food is fantastic, catering for all tastes & reasonably priced, the staff are terrific can't believe the couple of negative reviews & criticism of the staff almost seems like a different Christophers, we highly recommend it.

Mrs S. Been a customer at this great restaurant for over 15 years have always found the food & service wonderful, the lovely English girl has always been very helpful and is always polite. The menu is always yummy! and the coffee made to perfection, it's a great place to meet friends for lunch or dinner would recommend this place to everyone!
Diana. Quite a passable Merlo coffee here. Cute cafe with bar area situated in a quiet corner at the daisy Hill shopping area
Chose Christopher's as the venue for a birthday lunch as it is local. I had the ritz sanga which was fantastic (must admit this would be better as an open sanga as opposed to having two giant pieces of foccacia on top). The other meals all looked appealing however... Turkey salad was missing camembert (main component of the salad), anti pasto was stone cold, would have preferred room temp and the blonde waitress with glasses seemed to be strangely inconvenienced by anything we requested. All in all a good local place to eat with reasonable prices
Best Brekky on the Southside. I was introduced to this little gem by a client of mine. Whilst I waited for her to arrive, one of the staff danced and sung their way around the place, exuding happiness and cheer to all. This brought a big smile to my face. Once my client arrived I was treated to a citrus/lemon tart with my merlo coffee. It tasted great, could have done with a little more zing, but rather not enough than too much. Since my first experience was so pleasant, I invited some friends along last weekend to try their breakfast menu. And i was not disappointed. My GF and I had the Healthy Breaky, and my other friend had the Blueberry Pancakes. the Healthy Breaky was outstanding. Perfectly poached eggs, beautifully roasted tomatoes, yummy mushrooms and the right amount of turkish toast and I was smitten. I also tasted my friends pancakes, and they were light and fluffy and not too sweety. Something I will try on my next visit with the hubby. I am sure this will be sooner rather than later. If you live on the south side of Brissie, definetly worth the drive. I hear they serve an amazing dinner menu as well.
Sensational. We dine at Christophers every few weeks, we try other restraunts but always return there because of the great food
A very dear friend treated me to a birthday lunch and took me to a little gem of a place in Daisy Hill. Christopher's is a fully licensed cafe restaurant serving fine wines, tapas and gourmet homemade cuisine, day and night. The dining room is airy and there is even an outside garden seating area. Plus they are not too far from Ikea, so very handy after those tiring DIY shopping trips! You can ogle their mouth-watering range of goodies such as homemade pies, frittata's, salads and cakes (plus a range of gluten-free options)....while you take your time reading their extensive sandwich and lunch menu. I finally decided on a gourmet Thai red curry chicken pie with salad. I do have a soft spot for puff pastry, so I was delighted when this beauty was served to me. The salad was fresh and crunchy. And the pie, oh it was sooo good, delicious morsels of tender chicken breast smothered in a creamy red curry sauce. Here is my friend's lunch, which she devoured happily. The spanish frittata with

While I don't like to brag (too much) - I have acquired a very well trained husband. I'm yet to have an opinion on whether my Mother-in-Law trained her husband, or whether he is naturally a bit of a Romantic - but I love that between the two of them they
Friendly staff. Food is cooked perfectly. The big brekkie is so worth it. Hash brown is crispy and fluffy, sourdough perfectly toast and scramble egg is luxuriously smooth and tasty.
Lovely small venue for catch up with friends. Always busy, good selection of cakes etc, very cosy. Need to be early as this place is always buzzing, a very popular place.
Probably the best omelette I have had. Service was 5 star. Will definitely be back & have already recommended to friends & family.
Christophers in Daisy Hill is a delightful cafe with a relaxing atmosphere. Staff are friendly and service is efficient. A great place for individual or group outings. The coffee is great and the food very good. Highly recommended
