Yim Thai is the best Thai food in Brisbane. We are lucky it’s close to home but our family travel from the Northside to eat here. The Massaman beef and the steamed barramundi are our favourites. The service is exceptional.

This is a **SUPERB** restaurant. Very very authentic - just great tastes every time either eat-in or takeaway. I think they need to do some more advertising. I will post on 4074 community FB site.
Love this cute restaurant just around the corner from home. Living in the western suburbs can prove to be difficult sometimes with finding great food. We have done take away and sat at the restaurant and have such a lovely experience. I love that when you tell to make it spicy they ready do! Their curries to their stir fries and curry puffs are very tasteful!!!

I enjoy the golden parcels and the chicken cashew with a bit of added chili. The vegetables are always crunchy and fresh and the chicken is tasty and cooked to perfection. When I enter the restaurant it takes me on a journey, the flavours and aromas send me straight to Bangkok. The restaurant is modern and clean with a view to the kitchen.
I have been getting takeaway from here every few weeks since it opened and have never been disappointed. The food is always delicious, decent sized portions and very authentic. I've tried most things on the menu and my favourite is probably the Penang Curry, it's absolutely delicious. The steamed dim sims are very good as a starter too!
Love having this little gem as our local!! The staff are so welcoming and attentive and the food is consistently amazing! Must try the prawn and betel leaf entree and the Thai beef salad! Yum
We have been to Yim Thai a few times now and the food is delicious!!! It's tasty, fresh and authentic....all you could want in a local Thai restaurant. The staff are also fabulous. They are helpful and polite. I highly recommend Yim Thai.
What a fantastic discovery! The food was amazing, generous portions and good prices. The staff were very friendly and even asked for our opinion on the new menu item (fyi the chicken wings, and yes, they were delicious). Definitely support this place for delicious Thai food!
My family and I ordered takeaway from here for Mothers Day and we loved it! It was very busy but the staff member Grace was so nice and helpful the whole time! The food order was correct and everything tasted great! We tried the Red curry, Green curry, Stir Fry, Fried Rice, Pad see ew, and Pad Thai! Unfortunately didn’t take any photos, as soon as we got home we ate!
Went to this place to get some take away, restaurant was packed on a Sunday night approx. 19:30 which you know is a good sign. Friendly and professional staff, lovely young ladies with nice uniforms. When we got back to the house to eat, it was clear this food is fresh! The taste is amazing, everything we had from chicken soup to beef in bean sauce, duck in bao. Special mention to the gai satay sauce was beautiful dark. It's the darkest I've seen and I love it. Bring on the flavor. I would absolutely come back again and would highly recommend this to others. Had a lovely saucy massaman curry, just what I'd been craving. Dumplings were tasty. Service was brilliant, the lady was so very friendly and attentive. Cant fault it.
The duck lychee curry!!!! Omg this is good. So good that I’ve had it 4 times in the last 2 weeks. Love this local gem! i also recommend the fish cakes and the seafood pad see ew. Order all of that from Yim Thai and thank me later.
