BIG FLAVOUR.. Small portions.. Many dishes!
Take a walk back in time with the 90s decor, and mix of high/low chairs.
Your tastebuds will go on a journey with white wine riding shot gun through the early dishes and red to the end. If you like, a nice beer can ride anlong as a smelly hitchhiker.
A big thanks to the boss for shouting us lunch.

My wife and I had one of the most amazing long lunches here last week. The flavours are fresh and on points. I couldn't recommend this restaurant more highly.

First, there was the rye bread. Based on this alone, I would come back! Along with a very tasty French Rose, we tried the oysters - which had a super tart vinaigrette, the perfect accompaniment . Both were from near Port Macquarie and very good start. We tried the Sashimi - very nice finger lime and daikon for crunch.. People who like bitter stuff (Negroni lovers order up large)... Main course we had the Crab Pasta - with a really crunchy gremolata. We had a terrific Beaujolais - one of the Village series - very very good with this meal. Very casual, personable staff - great sommelier who provided great conversation and experience. Did I mention the view? Perfect

Apparently it’s a terrible decision to celebrate our wedding anniversary there. Prior to our arrival, we were attracted by the stunning view, we made a booking a week ago requesting to have window seats and it’s for our anniversary celebration, the staff who took the call confirmed. On the day we arrived, we were told that all window seats had been reserved and not available to us, we could go to the Arc bar next door for snacks if we really wanted the window seats.
But we decided to stay, foods appeared to be in very small portion, one sided and thin Mackerel charged for $34, I only took a few bites to finish the main course, side dishes were too sour. Foods were overcharged and absolutely disappointed experience!

Good customer services
Very nice view, good vibes and atmosphere
Cocktails lean on sour side.
Foods options are limited.

The house red was outstanding! Amazing views and the good old bread and butter was actually fantastic. The service was lovely and the bartenders gave great advice. Will definitely come back again regularly.

Best view of Brisbane at night. Just awesome. Right over the river. Great food.

Absolutely delicious food and great service. We had our first night out with our 3 month old and staff were very accommodating and welcoming. We couldn't recommend this place enough!

Oh, such a disappointment as I sooooo wanted to love Arc. My executive summary is: Service & Ambiance was 6 out of 5, but the food? A two.

I could not fault the service: sitting right up at the window, gorgeous Story Bridge views, both Millie (the Som) and Myles (the waiter) could not have been nicer, more attentive / informative, we were looked after flawlessly, the food arrived at a perfect pace, glasses always topped up. Its among the best service in town.
But
Firstly, we four eat out a fair bit, and when we have no idea what half the listed ingredients are, and need to get a waiter to walk us through the menu? Felt a bit unnecessary, pretentious, and certainly off putting.
When the dishes arrived, they looked impressive, but were merely ok. My albacore tuna starter was pretty much that; tuna. GREAT quality tuna, almost buttery tasting, but chopped up tuna, with some pickled onion and roasted tomato. Interesting rye crisps. Not hard to put together at home. The crab salad was a lettuce salad with a hint of crab. The oysters were fine (hard to stuff up).
The Cod main was apparently yummy, but when did Cod get so expensive that $45 gives you a small wedge? I did a half crayfish, which I think was $75? Can’t remember. Good thing I wasn’t hungry. And I’m told the steak was ok. The potatoes with blue cheese were the only dish we cleaned the plate down to the porcelain. And the cheese plate had a piece of flavourless fontina that my friend said, “I feel like I’m eating an airplane meal”. And Wine Guy at out table was unimpressed by the mark up.
There was nothing ‘wrong’ with the food. Just for those prices? I want WOW.
I see some good reviews of Arc online, but the four of us were a definite No on a return visit

Food was spot on everything I imagined and better,
but service was such a let down! We dined there for my birthday and my partner had arranged for bubbly on arrival as a special treat, it wasnt arranged....waiters come to your table unannounced just dropping or taking things without acknowledgement. At no point did anyone ask how the food was! My glass was left empty for awhile, I wasn’t offered a top up or the drinks menu instead they swooped past and took my glass! When we gave feedback the response was “we give u a new glass for each drink” okay but where’s my offer for the next drink??????
At $120 per person this level of service was shocking to say the least! As much as we enjoyed the food and views, thinking back at our customer experience im hesitant to revisit or recommend....

Absolutely fabulous!
The food was sensational and the staff were wonderful. It’s nice to see another 5star restaurant in Brisbane. I recommend the Goose prosciutto and crab pasta. The range of Gin were great too.
We’ve already booked in for another reservation

I loved everything about this place - the setting, atmosphere, menu and wine list, food, service and staff. Yeah it’s a little bit too trendy and maybe comes across slightly pretentious but the food was really excellent and there were some terrific wines under $100 a bottle. The staff were really friendly and eager to please but with the kind of seamless service where your drinks are always full without you knowing it. The view was also fantastic from every table. I would highly recommend Arc for something special.

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon at this beautiful restaurant. Amazing views while enjoying some very tasty food, though 2 in the party had the chicken which was over cooked and very dry. The rest of the meals were great. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for the Sommelier. She recommended a wine for us then came back and said they actually didn’t have any of that wine [you would think she would know what wine they had] and so she bought us another wine of her choice. When we asked for another bottle she had apparently found one of her original choice. Later when she came to top up our glasses she discovered that there was a fly in the bottle. She asked if we still wanted to drink it. She seemed surprised that we said no. There was no offer of another bottle or even a glass for each of us to make up for the half of a bottle with the fly it. We had to pay for another bottle and the alcohol there is rather pricy. Never once did she smile or at least try to make conversation. The food there is definitely worth a visit though.

Had lunch at Arc yesterday and it was all round an excellent experience with delicious food and very professional wait staff in an amazing setting . The restaurant has only just opened ( the wine bar has been opened for a few weeks ) and will be a very welcome addition to the brisbane dining scene . I would highly recommend
