Went here for a Sunday lunch and loved it! Highly recommend the popcorn cauliflower & pan seared barramundi you won’t be disappointed ! Friendly attentive staff.
I was here one night a few months back and wasn't overly impressed with the quantity of my meal for bar food. The brisket was tasty but I still left hungry.
Tonight I thought I would give the kitchen a second chance and ordered the Eggplant Parma and zucchini fries. Unfortunately the amount of salt used by the kitchen overpowered the flavours so I can't really comment on the mains except to say the coleslaw was tasty.
The staff at least we're friendy and knew their beverages.

Starting with cocktails, I stole Ka Lei’s drink (a freshly squeezed Apple juice with Bison vodka) so she ordered a bramble. The bar tenders were really interactive and knowledgable. In particular, Aisher was whipping some amazing concoctions!. We ordered the eggplant fingers with satay sauce and the chicken pakoras with aioli. They were both average.
The staff here are really lovely. The cocktails are well priced and delicious.
I got the macaroni & truffle cheese & pear crumble with ice-cream, both delicious but so rich I fell into a food coma 😳 good thing I'm not on a diet.
I'll be back for more cocktails & wouldn't turn down another meal either.

Went to the Milk Factory to see a couple of bands - Mzaza and Greshka. Great show for $20!
Nice bar, very attentive bartenders - great service despite the fact they were really busy - and a great courtyard (even if it was wet from all the rain).
Air conditioning in the concert venue was not up to the task on this hot and humid evening.
Not the first time I've been to the Milk Factory and won't be the last.
Ummmm hello $10 parmys! I had the chicken one it it was frickin fantastic. Homemade and thick... Not like a dirty minced up pub one at all- salad was also so delish. My favourite part was the staff though. Beardo (complement) was a champ, the kiwi guy (he knew about feijoas and eating neighbours fruit) was hilarious. The band playing was so cool- the woman sounded like ladi 6. I wasn't sure if we had to pay to go into the next room so we chilled at our booth. Thinking it's going to be my new Thursday reg

Having a convention in Queensland theatre company - we were looking for a good food after a long workshop. Milk Factory Kitchen & bar was close and so convenient. I've never heard of this place before so I did some zomato investigation before deciding to try this place. The place was decorated very Caribbean hipster style bar. The guy at the bar welcomed us with a big smile and friendly attitude. It made ordering food a lot easier as he slowly explained what they have to offer and the popular dishes. My favourite was the three cheese sandwich (it's called something else). At first it looks very plain and predictable but every bite I took I was very satisfied as there was a bit of kick I couldn't quite understand. The burger was amazing as well. However the chips were something else, it taste fresh and unique from a normal chips. Will I come back? Of course I will, especially now that I know where to go if I'm looking for a cheesy sandwich. Will I recommend this restaurant to my friends? Yes! Why not? It's a great place to catch up with friends as this place has a great atmosphere. Overall enjoyed this place. I rated it 4.0 as its my first time going here today, I wanted to see how consistent they are first as I heard this place is new in town - before deciding to give full 5.0 stars id like to see some consistency and more friendly faces around. As I only saw one person working today. Overall satisfied with everything. This place has potential for great food and things.
This place has been renovated eight months ago, coming here in day time sitting at the garden with beer. What a lazy Sunday to chill with friends.

Get the wings. Great chicken wings with satay sauce - large portion, tender and tasty. Hand cut chips with coconut curry sauce were also amazing, the table ordered three more after trying the first. We will definitely be returning, good job guys.
Good food, poor service! Small establishment, so they ran out of what we ordered and had to change it up a bit, but it was still delicious! Took ages for the food to come though!

We ordered the Ginger Beer battered tiger prawns, the Pork & Prawn wontons & the Chocolate chilli fried parcels and oh Lordy is was amazing! One of the most innovative, clever and well priced meals I have had in Brisbane! Well done The Milk Factory! Definitely worth a visit

On Thursday last, one half of Sunshine and Gin went to personal training, one half went to a cocktail bar. If you know us, you’ll know who did what. Milk Factory Kitchen and Bar has opened in the heritage hotel that formally housed The Joynt on Montague Road, West End. I had a soft spot for The Joynt. A lot of people didn’t know it existed but for many drinkers – mostly in Brisbane’s art scene I suspect – we loved the simplicity, the grungy vibe and the good old-fashion pub that was The Joynt. I was sad to see it go. That didn’t stop me from paying Milk Factory an after-work visit on Thursday – the day the bar opened – to suss it out. It may seem a little mean to be reviewing a place on the day it opens, but owner Dan Gregory has had a lot of practise of opening and running top-notch drinking holes such as Baxter’s Inn, Shady Pines and Black Pearl cocktail bars in Sydney and Melbourne. The bar staff were hectic, they only took cash but really the place already feels like it is up and running with pros behind the bar and in the kitchen ready to make this place the next great venue. Inside, Milk Factory hasn’t changed a lot for the change of name. It feels like The Joynt closed up shop, took a long sea voyage and has returned with a love of rum and a penchant for nautical-themed interior decor. There is a mural of a ship, portholes into the kitchen and an impressive array of amber liquors behind the bar. Seeing as it posts itself as a cocktail / rum bar, we picked out an El Presidente ($18) and a Gin Garden ($18, not on the menu but offered by the barman) to start with, followed up by a glass of prosecco and a Ranga Tang red ale. Both cocktails were delicious. There are 8 cocktails on the menu at present and limited wine list but the beer and rum offerings are plentiful. Milk Factory has a ‘floating’ menu which will change every three months to explore new cuisines. A great bar that serves food. The staff are really welcoming. All types of liquor is sold here. A wooden style bar and stools that gives it a old effect in a old building. There are outdoor tables is available.There is a dairy factory across the street which can woft a sour milk smell when sitting outside. There are lavatories for men and women. Live music from bands, to know when there is a band playing be sure to check with the bar. Highly recommended. A great night out with family and friends.
Really cool crew behind the bar and kitchen. Food is really good and its has a really cool chilled out vibe. Making it a great lunch escape from the office.
