Great little place in East Brisbane for Smokey meat takeaways. Called ahead to order and was able to pick it up right on time. We ordered 2 of the Dirty Dozens, meat was tender and deliciously smoked, fries were crispy and salad was fresh.
Would definitely recommend this place!
Hands down - Best smoked meats in town. Super juicy and the most tender meat ever. Try it and you will not regret. Simple place but the food is absolutely amazing.
What a bargain 17.90 for this massive feast, 4 cuts of lovely meats which are smoked to perfection on a bed of fries with caramizled onions cheese and sauces. All flavours work really good togther creating a unique meat feast of a dish
My wife and I shared the Dirty Dozen, it was delicious and perfect for our Friday lunch date. The meat was smoked to perfection. Great staff and friendly service.
Oh yes we will be back.
Beef lovers delight!
This chefs at this unpretentious eatery at East Brisbane/Kangaroo Point really know how to cook beef. The brisket, pastrami, beef cheeks and beef ribs are smoked and cooked to perfection. The meat just melts in your mouth and is full of flavour. The portions here are very generous and it's all very reasonably priced. The salads are very good too! The food came out very fast even though it was busy.
Amazing smoked ribs, pastrami, and brisket. The sandwiches have a nice helping of meat balanced with other fillings. A delicious, juicy journey from start to finish.
O...M...G... this is the worlds greatest brisket. If I was a cow this is what I would want to happen to me. Just go there. It will make your life better.
YES YES YES YES YES! As big fans of smoked meats, we were very keen to give Smokey Moo a go. Before it had even been open a month we had heard great reviews of this spot - owned and operated by chef Shalom Bitton (of Butcher’s Kitchen and Moo Moo) and his wife Wensley. We dropped by at 6pm on a quiet Friday night for the Special Cob Salad with Brisket and Dirty Dozen (all four meats with chips). The meat was so amazingly tender and the flavours from the rub/smoking were just divine! It would be perfect washed down with a cold beer but the only tiny downfall here is that it's not licenced. Never fear - meals are served in sturdy takeaway boxes with plastic cutlery, begging to be taken home and devoured with that six pack (fun fact - there's a bottle shop right across the street). The delicious dinner for the two of us was less than $40 (BARGAIN). So do yourself a favour and get on over to Smokey Moo - as they say, it's crazy good beef!
