Great little cafe in OXLEY! I only had coffee here today (open on Good Friday!), but it was well made and the service was friendly. Looking forward to going back to try their food. I would recommend this place. It also has a nice park nearby for the kids. Win win!
This café was the first one that I explored around Oxley Village. I was lucky that it was not busy by the time that I arrived on early Sunday morning. Since I just aimed for a cup of coffee, I took a seat outside the front of the café. Actually, I was much appreciated the friendly service from the lady barista. While I was enjoying the Arte-coffee (the first time to have this bean), I saw people passing by and started to indulge in my past experience of similar episode........it was a fun.
This is an excellent suburban cafe and great addition to the Oxley Village. These guys clearly love food and go beyond the lacklustre cafe dining experience that is sadly common - I've now tried breakfast, dinner and ad hoc coffee and it's all exceeded my expectations. The service is friendly and just hits the right note for your local go to place. Prices are very reasonable. It's also not just serving up run of the mill eggs on toast - I had lovely chunky homemade savoury mince for breakfast with a perfectly poached egg and the wild boar on the dinner menu is up there with best tapas dish ever. The coffee has been good on several occasions too. Yet to try baked goods but I believe they are homemade. My only fear is that it gets too popular and I won't be able to get a table! The opening hours listed here are wrong too (it was open at 6.30am this morning and is open for dinner but not every day). Also as noted it's in Oxley not Darra.
I don't know why Zomato has this cafe listed in Darra - it's in Oxley! Have been there twice now (both times for dinner). The food is very, very good, in my opinion. I love the tapas style of eating (saves having food envy) and have had the yummy desserts both times too. The creme brulee is one of the best I've tasted. The meals are very good value too. The front of house staff (in training) are a little clunky at times - they are trying really hard, which we appreciated, but just little things like clearing plates before everyone at the table has finished, etc. It's not marketed as fine-dining of course though, so am probably just being picky! My husband and I plan to go very often for dinner, and would love to try the brekkie menu some time. Did I mention how good the food is?

Lovely friendly staff, who always say hello on walk by and are welcoming on entry.
Tapas is good value and really tasty.
Calamari is my favourite, closely followed by the muscles!
Coffee is nice, although could be a little stronger for me.
I want to try breakfast next as the menu sounds delicious!
I have lived in the area for a few years and this is my favourite place to get dinner, hands down. Consistently good quality food! I've tried most of the pastas and pizzas on their menu and never been disappointed. This is an authentic family business that has maintained its quality flavour through tough times. If you are too impatient to wait or drive down and place your order, you don't deserve the great food they have to offer.
We just ordered some pizza today from Pellegrini. Have to admit it's easily some of the best pizzas we have had. The quality of their dough and toppings were amazing and well worth the price. Their staff are very friendly and so courteous. We will certainly be going here for pizza and Italian food more often now.
