Very traditional trolley dim sum which is a rarity nowadays. Large portions and rustic design brought back our childhood. Maybe the last gem soon to be crushed by the mass machine production in the not so distant future.

Went for dinner for 2 tonight.
I haven't been there since the business changed hands.
We ordered seafood tofu hotpot and I immediately summoned the waitress over to voice my disapproval. The portion was so midget it should have been labelled as kids sized. The presentation was unappetising, and finally the taste wasn't there either.
The waitress felt ashamed of it so much she took it back in to show it to the chef.
Stir fried beans with pork mince was OK,but not the authentic version though.
The steam rice was cold and the texture said to me it was ready to turn into fried rice - stale and dry.
Overall, it was such a poor experience that I don't think I will ever return for lunch time yumcha (which was what they were famous for with previous owner)

Had a Wednesday dinner with family.
Great food with great service.
We were welcomed nicely table seems neat and clean.
We got huge range of choice for food and drinks too.
We had hookine noodles Singapore noodles and fried rice which taste great and quick.
Service was quick our food took just 7 to 10 minutes to arrive.
Foh was nice really happy with the service and food.

The first three times we went the food was fantastic, but the last time a majority of offerings were cold. There didn't appear to be as many people in the restaurant even though it was peak lunch time. Hopefully things improve upon our next visit.

Nothing has changed in years except the service. Used to be a great yum cha but now there is hardly any food going around. The calamari/octopus is still great though. We didn't get offered drinks, you get charged for sauce and tea even if you don't drink it.

Terrible experience, Although the Staff were very nice the food was disgusting and tasted as if it had been sitting out for a long time. None of our food was fresh or at least warm to touch in fact the only hot dishes that were served was the dumplings and tea. everything else tasted old or from a packet and it had been reheated and left out (no joke). Whilst the dumplings were hot we got 4 different types, but sadly they all just tasted the same which would probably suggest they were packet frozen. Unfortunately because the food was so bad, we couldn’t finish all our dishes, but we still paid, made no fuss and left. My family haven’t been here in years but in the past this place was really good. based on today’s experience we will not be returning. If you are looking for fresh, tasty and authentic chinese food then this IS NOT the place for you.

Great place for Yum Cha, we drive down from Bribie to have lunch here, this is probably the closest genuine Yum Cha restaurant for us, staff can be abrupt, which seems to be normal in these types of places, but the menu is always excellent.
Highly recommended.

Nothing good to report! Booked for Mother’s Day banquet, 2hrs after ordering entrees arrived , food tasted terrible. No point getting a banquet, minimum of four people but only comes out with just enough to serve two especially at 60/head .Lady at the checkout was horribly rude when we requested to have items removed off our bill that didn’t arrive. Save your money , get takeout else where .
