4 star only because it is expensive and they don’t have any loyalty program.
Looove the food.
They have amazing burgers and everything tastes so good at burger urge.
Highly recommended.
The man serving us was kind and friendly. The food service was pretty quick.. well in saying that there was only 5 other customers there. Had the fried chicken burger, was amazing and filling! Love burger urge!!
Yummo. I had the fried chicken burger and it was delicious. The man had a beef burger and was quite satisfied too and he is a picky burger eater. Friendly service and order was made quite quickly.
I have visited a few Burger Urge Outlets for work & my favourite so far. It is hard I'm sure to hang onto the integrity of why a company starts out but the burgers at Chermside are fresh & well made.
Burger Urge Chermside certainly has 'got it going on' when it comes to attention seeking. Wednesday night quiz's, meal deals for the gym heads (advertised right outside the Goodlife gym) and a former ship container housed with a baby chair - and that's before we even get to the menu!
Mrs Clintons, the Donald Trump and Frying Nemo aside, Burger Urge had previously wowed me with their New Yorker (**) at DFO and Airport stores, but there's no such magic on this occasion.
Great service from the get go, but with no offer of a wholemeal or gluten free bap, it's more likely that they sold out or ran out, but a polite 'let know' wouldn't hurt. The usual selection of delicious fillings and sauces fill the burger, but sadly, the beef patty is dry (with the vibe it had been sitting a while) and, more concerning, tasteless. Really poor.
The fact is Burger Urge continue to change their beef patties time and time again and on this evidence, taste wise, it's just not happening. They have the ability to take on the best with their beef burgers, but until they find the right supplier they are always going to get outdone by Grill'd. Although this effort was really concerning, and I can only hope management take this on board for the benefit of business and customers.
Luckily, that's the bad news over and it's a rave review from here on. Burger Urge's $13 Buffalo Wings (*****) are saucy, big and delicious, with either spicy or Hickory BBQ options. Great with a bit of special sauce ($1 extra), too.
The Pineapple Express (*****) Is an absolute stunner - a high street burger beauty if ever there was one. Lovingly loaded with delicious free range chicken, chipotle mayo (superb), the usual lettuce, tomato, red onion, a small pineapple and cheese that lends itself perfectly, I will be back for one of these babies another time... all aboard!
So, it's a fairly easily one where the Sweet Potato Fries (*****) are concerned - $7 gets you a large one, and the more the merrier. Crunchy yumminess on the outside, sweet potato goodness on the inside. For me, better than Grill'd and alongside Caffe Cherry Beans, the best I've tasted in the business.
Finally, service was quick and of a high standard, with tonnes of serviettes, although no water dispensers are located throughout the store. Upon request, the water brought was chillingly delicious. They would also benefit from wet wipes as the burgers can get messy.
very good wraps, stools, and naills maybe burgers haven't tried them tho .
comics hard to read overall i rate 4/5 stars
PS needs hunger tamers
O-bomb
Located in the second food court near Woolworth and Big W, Burger Urge is clean and stylish with Conan comic pages covering the walls. The staff were friendly and helped with the menu choices. For $25 I got a burger and a large meal of chips, a 600ml drink and dipping sauce. It took 10 minutes for my meal to arrive and I was not disappointed as the food was what I ordered and fresh. The chips had a herb salt and the chilli and lime sauce was great. The burger had crispy coleslaw and crunchy deep fried chicken with periperi sauce. Alcohol available at a reasonable price, around $7.50. Would recommend.
Amazing 'Merican burgers. One of my favourite restaurants. Scrumptious succulent patties, great shakes and bad-ass fries. If you're a yank missing home then come here!
There's nothing special about the New Yorker burger, but there's also nothing wrong with it either. An exceptionally average burger and fries. We came in for a late Sunday lunch and it was relatively quiet. The staff were cheerful and efficient. Seemingly relaxed atmosphere away from the main eatery at the north end of Chermside shopping centre.
Super friendly staff, and great food! Had a party for a younger siblings 12th birthday and Burger Urge sure made each hungry guest feel full and happy.
Cute atmosphere, and the lady who served us was really helpful and polite her customer service was impeccable. There was a line but it didn't take to long to get served.
Pricey but flavoursome. We found the lines to be huge but food quality was good. We only did take away. The staff were friendly but their order and wait system could be improved. Staff were approachable and friendly.
Nom Nom Nom. Okay, we just moved to Chermside at basically the same time the new store opened, which is both awesome and terrible at the same time. The store is roomy with a great outdoor area, the service is quick and the burgers are massive AND delicious. Main pro - we at least WALK to the store to get our burgers, totally justifying the large sweet potato fries with extra dipping sauce EACH... Main con - we have it at least three times a week and at this rate we're worried we'll turn into Magic Mushrooms. Oh, what are we saying, there are really no downsides. Viva la Burger Urge! Love, your devoted admirers - K and S
P.S. We did see a post on Facebook promising goodies for reviews, and while we would've done it anyway ... we like goodies too!
This Burger Urge is just like any other, having great tasting food created by very friendly and considerate staff. This Burger Urge store is a more recently built one and thus have new modern decorations that look amazing. Most of the menu tastes good in my opinion, except the chicken wings and I strongly recommend not buying them.
Awesome place with fantastic Burgers and friendly staff, Will definitely be eating here again. If you like burgers you should definitely try this place.
I love here, the burger is yum and the manager is so nice. Thanks for your hospitality :)
Pretty good but for price I was expecting a little bit bigger. $21 for a combo with drink. but as I said really really good
Amazing burgers and lovely service, I have only revisited Burger Urge Chermside recently, three times always takeaway and I am hooked.
The service has been lovely and the burgers cooked and presented perfectly.
Today I bought my daughter the most delicious cookies and cream milkshake ever made! Thank you for delicious burgers and chips, milkshakes and excellent service!😋😍
A last second decision to get burgers for dinner, acting on the free delivery offer. We ordered a couple of chicken burgers, with small serves respectively of potato and sweet potato chips. The burgers were a touch on the small side, but really tasty. The chips were a very generous 'small' size and were covered in a delicious seasoning. Combining with the burgers accounted for ample food. Throw in a Cricketers Arms beverage and there weren't many complaints about the food, or the value. We'll eat from here again for certain.
Burger Urge do have good burgers, but to be honest, they are little over priced. Oh and enjoy eating Donald Trump. 😂
