We visited this cafe for coffee and muffin. It’s a nice place with LOTS of indoor and outdoor tables. The coffee was good. The blueberry muffin was also good. It seems to be VERY popular with cyclists.

💛🍠THE HUNT FOR THE BEST SWEET POTATO FRIES !!!🍠💛

We think we have found our favourite sweet potato fries in North side of Brisbane✨ !!! Here in our local area - Sandgate at the Witchen Kitchen ! Kiki's been on the hunt for the best sweet potato fries as we are both going gluten free we have opted for the other fries alternative - SWEET POTATO 🍠!!!

We reviewed this cafe last year when it was called Salt Water cafe - now back with new owners & a new name - The Witchen Kitchen🌟 has got our No.1 best cafe for sweet potato fries so far !

The sweet potato fries are a perfect mix of slightly crispy on the outside, soft in the inside, perfectly salted with sea salt and the most delicious aoli sauce !🍽

This spot is right next to The Wired Owl Cafe🍽 - they actually work in partnership with coffees & food !Give them a try or let us know if youve had better & where ! 😆

Awesome little cafe in Sandgate. Does an amazing FW - will have to try some of their yummy looking cabinet treats on my next visit (probably tomorrow!). Super friendly staff too...

Ventured here for a morning coffee recently and found it to be a lovely suburban coffee shop. Not much in the way of ambience looking out onto a residential road but they have utilised their space well. Some seating inside under a fan, a small AstroTurf courtyard and alfresco seating out front.

They use black wolf premium espresso and the coffee isn't too bad. The flat white was a bit tepid but their long black was spot on. If you're a milky coffee drinker it might be worth asking for it to be extra hot.

The young guys working at the counter were super friendly and happy for a chat.

Limited food selection but the slices were tasty and reasonably priced.

Our coffee connections convinced us to put the Suburban Spotlight on The Wired Owl Coffee Co at Sandgate. From Salisbury to Sandgate … it was off to the other side of Brisbane to touch base with Aaron for our second spotlight. Hang on! Aaron from Wired Owl … that rings a bell … a quick check of Bean Brewding records and bingo! The owners of this warm and friendly suburban café joined us on one of our early walking tours of the Valley.

A really cute little place for coffee and cake, peaceful and cheerful - could maybe do with a little savoury addition to their goodies - for people who prefer their coffee with something other then cake or muffins etc.. but lovely none the less. Keep up the good work.

Love it. Great staff, historical venue, and a great coffee...not too earthy and perfectly roasted. Choice of nibbles are great too. Go the butterscotch and white chocolate muffin!

One of the best Dirty chais I have had in a long time. Exceptional service with a smile and animal friendly. Great combo with The Witchen Kitchen next door for breakfast to lunch.

It's like coming home to a familiar friend. The staff are relaxed and welcoming, offering alternative coffee options to start your day. A great coffee blend worth a visit in your daily grind.

Next to the Witchin' Kitchen ( meals)... the Wired Owl ( coffee etc) is a great little cafe experience. Sit in the street and be entertained by the street happenings, or sit in the courtyard and enjoy your company/ fare. The cookies are yumm and the coffee ticks the boxes, and gets you "wired" for your day

A great place for a quick drink or to stay for a chat with friends. Coffee was quite good & enjoyed the added small extra. Other small shops nearby are good to browse before or after. Only issue would be the traffic sometimes was a little noisy, but otherwise it was a good experience. Will be coming back again soon.

Pretty good! Nice coffee. Difficult on weekends when waiting for takeaways. If you get food from next door and coffee from here, where do you wait? Lol I think if somehow it could be moulded into one venue that would work. Either way, great coffee here and next door they have great sweets (cinnamon scrolls, croissants and Donuts)
