Good service and helpful staff. The atmosphere is great and a nice play area for kids. The food was excellent

Awesome food, big meals. Outstanding service. Staff couldn’t help us enough. Steak was a bit pricey but super nice. Definitely going back.

Our waitress was mind blowingly amazing. Absolutely killed it on the good service. The food was amazing, delicious, hot and just amazing texture. Great price on the food and drinks. Came here again tonight and had the same waitress, my God she killed it again with the awesome service.

Amazing place to go for dinner and drinks, food is always delicious. Super friendly staff that go above an beyond for you to make you feel welcome. All the staff are amazing especially Tahleigh and Sammy. Highly recommend this place!

We booked the Sumners Room for a wake for our mother earlier in July. The staff were excellent, the room well prepared and the food we ordered was tasty, as described and delivered at the time requested. Very happy with the venue and staff

Meals were decent, but place is getting run down now. Really needs some money spent on it for a revamp. Toilets are gross. Furniture dated. Carpet torn. Kids area underwhelming (couple of arcade games have missing joystick controllers). Outdoor playground was the saving grace.

The staff were very friendly and eager to help with all our needs. The food was delicious and the serving sizes sufficient. My Thai stir fry beef and crispy noodles, although very tasty, had a bed of lettuce that I thought was a bit too much.

Had a half price promo to have a Sunday lunch at this place. The huge venue is a big surprise to me. After perused the menu, we decided to go for the chef special of rump and lobster and a sirloin. Chef’s culinary skill is very good. Both steak were perfectly done in med rare. Quality of Grazier’s steaks are both good and importantly we paid less then $30.00 for this lunch. A very high CP ratio... :)

I live in the area and used to go to the CT a lot, but it took a dive, I go back occasionally in the hope there has been an improvement. Unfortunate, if anything it is worse the meal that I ordered was horrible and I could not eat it, there were drunks rolling around on the floor and management were far too slow to act. I would not recommend this place to anyone. 🤮☹️

Great steak sandwich, one of the better I've had at a pub, got carded which was flattering and food came out pretty quick for such a busy day. Chips were just ok though.

This place is good, solid place to eat with kids.

This place epitomises the family friendly (local tavern) feel and and atmosphere, where kids are able to self entertain in the large outdoor playground or the smaller AC games room (which has some awesome arcade games) makes family dining a breeze.

The food is well-sized and tasty and the staff are all very friendly and willing to help.

The dining area is large and spacious.

The only downside (and appeared to be a bone of contention for other parents in the room) were the select-a-toy vending machines, which caused some grief.

Our meal was Horrible. We got the fish and chips and it had no salad a tiny piece of fish which was overcooked. The chips were also over cooked. Probably the worst meal I've ever had. We will not be going back there.

Used to love this place, really, although changed to a low funk last couple of visits. Chef recommended stockman pie was style with old cold chips and lumpy gravy. Chicken parmy tooth breakingly crispy. Sent back beer three times as stale and flat (didn't believe it so kept pouring another to try) service lacking a lot, unhelpful and not friendly. What happened?!

First time visiting this place and I wasn't disappointed. I went for the specials: duck spring rolls for entree and rump and lobster for main, my partner had the eye fillet wrapped in bacon. Spring rolls were decent enough, accompanying salad was good. The mains came out before we finished our entree which is always annoying but they were great. Both steaks cooked perfectly, on the lighter side of medium-rare and my lobster was nice and juicy with a very tasty sauce. The staff were really friendly and up for a chat if you want. Food and drink prices were about average for a tavern. With the kids meal being free on a Sunday and the footy on a big screen, I'll definitely be heading back.

Still great. We come here often and the Grazier pie is still the favourite. We have made wonderful freinds with the staff. They sre all so wonderful, helpful and great for a laugh or two. The tavern is obvoiusly suffering due to the woolies recline but you would not know when the staff are so brilliant. Its great for the family and party's and the ribs are the best as well. Give it a go.

Solid pub food and staff have always been friendly and accomodating. Good value specials and the kids playground is very good. Must be new chefs as food seems to have gotten better and like the Aussie seafood.

We love the Centenary Tavern. We would go there nearly every weekend for lunch but unfortunately they now only server their Chicken Caesar Wrap on week days. Bring back the weekend lunch menu.

Bad all round. Shocking service, rude staff, mediocre food, won't be back

Disappointing. Chorizo Sausage and Bacon Pizza you would expect to be salty but there was so much extra salt in the topping that it made the pizza bitter. Caramelised onion in topping was definitely not caramelised but in white, thick clumps. Way over priced for a less than average pizza. Partner had Graziers Beef Pie. Nice but ordinary. Mushy peas too sweet. Also way over priced for pie and peas.

Lunch Steak. I always have the lunch steak with chips/salad.

Been there about 10+ times now, it is always the same, no issues, simple food cooked well, and cheap.

Recommendation - I will keep going for the lunch steak :)

I'm stupid enough to continue to give this place a go as I like there Ribs more than Monier and they have better specials BUT that's it. You just never know what you are going to get when it comes to a steak. (Wednesday my medium rare was well done and so dry that I gave up eating half way through due to a sore jaw) They have ONE staff member that is fantastic the rest that I have come across seem indifferent and lacking in customer service skills. I just really want consistency from this place because I WANT to like it but it continues to disappoint.

Same quality as 2 years ago, food taste better than most restaurants in the city, affordable price when on specials, our kids love the playground area. We went to an upmarket riverside restaurant near QUT last week, the food cost $40 - $50 per dish, spent over $200 for lunch with the in laws. Scenery was superb but the wagyu steak was just ok. Tonight I took one of the in law to CT, they had $10 off per main meal, we had 400g t-bone, 1/2 kg ribs, chicken parmigiana, total for $50! I couldn't believe my ears when the girl told me the 3 main meals cost $50, that I asked her to check the computer again :P. The medium T-bone was like cotton in my mouth, taste and texture were much better than the wagyu we had last week. The rest of the meals were also great tasting. My in law scolded me for paying too much last week and why I never take her here before. Our two toddlers who were usually fussy eaters devoured our meals too. The place was a bit dark and damp, service can be better with an extra permanent staff to speed up ordering meals (very long wait, must go on weeknights, weekends are too busy). But for great tasting food without the city price tag, CT is a favourite to our family for those special occasions.

Sub Standard. The food is nothing special. Prices are high considering what they serve. Meals are however very large, so if that's the sort of thing you're after then this is the place to go.

Not a bad space and most lf the wait staff were friendly. But $37.00 for a steak and it was inedible. I'm so disappointed and to make matters worse, I was given the shrugged shoulders when I politely complained.
Getinmybelly.
Good price, good food.. This is our "go to" place if we want a quick, inexpensive pub lunch. For $10.90 I can't fault the chicken parma, the burgers are always good and the steak - though its nothing flash is always cooked well and comes with nice sauce and standard chips and salad. I probably wouldn't pay full price at dinner time but will continue to go here for lunch (especially when you compare what you'd get from KFC for $10.90)

Great relaxed atmosphere, great food, good service. Had the fillet mignon and it was delicious. Stuffed mushrooms for entree were delightful. Will definitely go back

ONE OF THE WORST RESTAURANTS EVER!!! Went for someones birthday dinner, about 15 of us all up some toddlers also, everyone but my partner, child and my meal came out.. One HOUR passed everyone had pretty much cleared their plates we complained, they said sorry our order wasnt taken down i said ah you took our order we have the reciept, a rushed apology. We got our meals finally.. By then everyone was ready to go and we werent hungry!! So we asked for money back, had a bit of a fight but got the $60/$70 odd we stupidly spent back!! Would NEVER gk back!!! Not worth the expense crap food and service!!!!!!!!!

Terrible experience today.. John: Just went to Centenary Tavern to get Angela a steak and veg because she needs it. Waited 40 minutes to get served a black burnt (ordered medium rare) steak and dry veg. My burger with bacon was cold (the cheese hadn't even melted, even a little bit, it was that cold) served with a side of no bigger than a '10 cent coin' chips. Tamara's steak was less than 5mm thick and needed an axe to cut it. Dominic's chicken nuggets were like rocks. Soooo disappointed, we got a refund and come home, Angela still hasn't been fed and I really want a burger now, a hot one with cheese that is melted. Never again will that place see us there!

Angela: Sat there frustrated for ages watching the rest of the restaurant patrons being served. The wait staff treated us like we weren't there. I am 9mths pregnant and was starving so I asked John if he could go call our mains as the wait staff just weren't doing it. He said when he went and asked the reply was less a than courteous, "Oh you want your meals now!"

Finally the meals arrived and looked awful. The look on my face was one of shock/dismay as I gazed down at my black dried eye fillet and instead of the mashed potato I ordered was a baked spud, the veg looked like it had been taken straight from a freezer bag and nuked for 5 mins. The carrots in the veg mix had a dry white exterior. Glanced over to John's burger and the cheese was cracked and oily looking. As if it had been hot at some stage but left too long in the cold. His chips were the mere dregs out of the bottom of the bag and there was not one bigger than a 20c piece. John complained that his burger was cold.

We decided to get a refund and go elsewhere. Will probably go to the Monier Hotel in Darra after our daughter's friends party has finished in 2 more hours! At least they have good staff and meals.

Nice Brizzy Pub/Bistro. They changed management / Ownership of the dining area in the last couple of years. I have to say, it must have been for the better.

It's got a good bistro feel on the inside, and the outdoors area has a nice al-fresco touch. I stopped by for a $12 lunch deal, and man was I impressed.

Good value pub food, right next door to a Dan Murphies - so you're well looked after either way.

Average food and SLOW service!!!. The first time I went I got the vege pasta which was quiet expensive and it was by far the most average pasta ive had. Secondly I went on a Sat night and the service was stupidly slow, it took like 50mins to get our food and it wasnt that busy. Also they had three different desserts being advertised and none of them were available. All the staff were rude as. And lastly the girl that took my order both times had no idea what to do. Wouldnt go back unless I was desperate!!!!

Had a fantastic Black Angus steak here. We went on a Tuesday night which meant that our steaks were only $20! Great value for money and cooked to perfection. Mushroom sauce was delicious!

Lovely Service. I recently organised a staff meeting for a small group (5)over dinner here and they couldn't be more accomodating. We were seated at a larger table to give us room. Water was brought to the table and plenty of time was given before we were prompted to order. The food was delicious and exactly as expected!!! What a nice touch to our usually mundane staff meetings!!! Will definately be planning more!!!

Nice place. Good relaxed atmosphere, service was good, prices reasonable. Great place for a steak. Will definitely go back
