BYO! Enjoyed a feast with beer! pork belly bao which were lovely and soft and a nice size, lettuce wraps crunchy/fresh/aromatic, Bahn mi Thit pork w fresh chilli. All very tasty and good value for money. I look forward to visiting again soon
The vegan bowl is to die for! Tried changing the rice vermicelli noodles to the PHO noodles and it blew my mind! So good! So flavoursome! Highly recommended!
The staff were very welcoming and polite. Phat Pho has a great family vibe to its team.
We ordered the tofu rice paper rolls for an appetiser, which were light and flavoursome. The accompanying sauce was delicious and balanced the dish.
We then ordered a vegan noodle salad, and a chicken noodle salad for mains. There was a little too much noodle to vegetable ratio, but the bowls were delicious and there was a generous serving of protein on both.
Overall we loved it, and can’t wait to go back again!
Booked ahead for a work lunch on a Thursday afternoon - all 9 of us loved every bite! Service was quick and staff were lovely. Banh Mi was absolutely delicious - the special pâté really makes it pop! Noodle salad, spring rolls and pho were also hits of the day. Great for those who love spice as fresh chilli was added on request. We often order Vietnamese for lunches and Phat Pho has now officially set the bar! Yum!
I have been here numerous times. The last time I dined here with 7 friends last Saturday night. The service was great and food came out so fast. I always have trouble choosing between the vermicelli noodle salad, chicken fried rice or the beef pho. They are all so delicious. My friends loved it here as well so 10/10!!
This is my go-to Vietnamese restaurant! My favourite dish that I always get is the vermicelli noodle salad with spring rolls and marinated pork, oh my goodness it is so good! I love the food here. Fast service and friendly staff!

I have been to Phat Pho for several times, so instead of being picky and just to save everyone's time, here are the dishes I highly recommend:
- Beef Pho (their fresh chillies are very very spicy so just 1 or 2 little pieces will do)
- Pork Belly Bao (or steamed buns) their pork belly is to die for
- Rice Paper Rolls: all flavours are excellent as they make a balanced portion of the ingredients needed for a good paper roll. Not much rice vermicelli, which is something I really appreciate cause in most of other Vietnamese eateries, they tend to use lots and lots of vermicelli to reduce the cost but that's clearly not how the Vietnamese people make their rolls
- Caramelized Pork Belly with jasmine rice: you can be in a mood or nah but you can never go wrong with this dish 10/10
- Banh My (or Baguette): don't forget to ask them to put a lot of their spicy mayo. All the goodness is like dancing in your mouth till the last bite.
- And finally their Lettuce Wraps: very very fresh and interesting. You may need another one if you pocket permits ;)
I know I recommend 90% of their menu as I haven't tried other dishes yet but 2.6 overall rating obviously doesn't do this cute little place any justice.
Relax/casual & nice atmosphere with very reasonable prices compare to most restaurants in Teneriff. BYO is another win for me & my friends. After a great night eating at Phat Pho we didn't spend too much at all. 👍

Amazing pho, amazing service, great time and atmosphere. BYO is good too! I've been twice, once for the pho and once for the Caramelised Pork Belly - have never ever been disappointed. I love it!
Tucked away in Newstead, The Pho was alright, broth was hearty and fairly clear. The chicken tasted a bit processed but that was the only real down fall. I think $14.50 is a little steep though nonetheless . I will return.
Went for a. Iggy drive and ended up in Tenerife looked for somewhere unpretentious and found this place. Staff were friendly and the food came out really fast like we were in street stall or restaurant in Asia/Melbourne. The pork with rice was yummy and the pho was of high standard. Serving sizes were not what you would get at other places, but really do we have to expect a giant bowl in order to feel satisfied.. good size and taste..

So I have been to the restaurant twice now and absolutely loved it both times.
The first time I went there was on Saturday morning at 10:30am (before they are open) The man who served me was more than happy for me to sit down and even managed to feed me before the open time. I had the rare beef noodle soup and rice paper rolls, both were delightful.
I have read some of the comments and you can clearly tell some people will never be pleased.
The food is fresh and delightful !

Living in the area, never having tried decided to tonight (29/09/2016). Absolutely amazing. Chicken rice paper rolls, pork spring rolls, pork belly and chicken pho bowl. All were cooked to absolute perfection with the exact amount of flavour. Was a little busy, maybe 6-8 other people in the restaurant and food came extremely quick. Will definitely be back, was amazing.

First time lunch yesterday, no waiting, plenty of seats. Very friendly staff. Had a beef Banh Mi. Tasty with nice crusty bread though disappointing with the filling quantities.
Some more options on the menu would be nice.

Best Pho in Brisbane. As a Vietnamese, I tried Pho in many restaurants. But I feel Pho here has the most similar flavor with authentic Pho in my country. Great customer service!
They've definitely stepped up their game from when they opened back in April. I tried their Chicken fried rice and Banh mi this time and it exceeded my expectations! Lovely customer service and great atmosphere. I will be recommending this place for sure to all my friends. :)
Being local, I've been here a few times for lunch and dinner since they've recently opened. The place has been super busy since the get go. From some reviews, they've had some opening jitters, but going by facebook it looks like they welcome the feedback which is fab to see. The food is always delicious (I love the rice paper rolls, nem nuong lettuce wraps and pork chop rice). My vegetarian friends were super satisfied last night too. The staff were friendly and accommodating; the restaurant buzzing with nice decor and atmosphere. We left with very happy bellies! Bookings are definitely needed for dinners (it's a small space)

Went with a couple of my friends and the night was a great experience.
From my entree of rice paper rolls to Beef Pho the flavours were unbelievable. Simply beautiful cooking. The staff were so friendly and ready to help and we got a table right at the front. Great atmosphere. This place will become a favourite for sure! Would recommend :)
Phat pho is our new local so thought we would give it a visit. We visited for an early dinner a few nights ago and were actually quite satisfied with our dishes, so feel that the teething issues mentioned in previous reviews may be looked into. Banh mis were delicious and reasonable priced (under $8) however probably could have a little more fillings in it. Service was quick, however we did arrive at 5pm on the dot. We will definitely be back!
Delicious food and friendly staff, reasonable prices, vegetarian and vegan options available however need some renovations.
Tried the Tofu Curry Puffs didn't even get a chance to take a photo of them as they disappeared in a second.
Tom Kha soup with vegetables and tofu was delicious, also tried the Cashew stir fry was very delicious too.
5 minutes walk from the ferry terminal, city glider and street carparks available.
I would definitely revisit this place and get the Tofu Curry Puff and Cashew stir Fry.
I come here for lunch almost every day. Love the changing lunch specials! Reasonably priced and always delicious. I recommend Ruean Phae Thai to everyone looking for a great lunch in Teneriffe. อร่อย 🙏
I think Thai cuisine always comes down to personal preference so I won’t say it’s the best or worst place around. It was fine but not my favourite in the neighbourhood, now having tried all of them (I think). My only comment is the portions were slightly smaller than most restaurants. The takeaway containers were probably only two thirds full. In the picture are the penang curry and cashew stir fry
Quaint little hole in the wall with charm, delicious AF Thai food, probably best in town! Do yourself a favour and try it, you won’t regret it.
Better than any other Thai restaurant I've been to in Brisbane. Staff is incredibly kind and service is great. Prices are very reasonable as well.
Fantastic Thai food, reasonably priced and great service from lovely people. Streetside dining or interior which is humble and simple but as a place to meet friends, dates and families, it's first class - its byo, but the dishes themselves are great, authentic and tasty. The best Tom Kha Gai in Brisbane. Five stars.
Good food, fair price, friendly staff. Great quality thai and loads of options on the menu. Ruean Phae Thai Restaurant is one of those rare stumble - across gems – a tiny authentic piece of Thailand found in a quaint old garage workshop in the midst of a trendy warehouse-filled Teneriffe street.
My favourite thai food in Teneriffe. Recommend the Pad Thai chicken, fried rice and chilli basil stir fry. Not particularly enjoying the quality of pork meat they serve at this restaurant however chicken, beef and tofu dishes are on point and very reasonably priced with excellent and authentic setting, cooking and customer service. Highly recommended.
