Absolutely lovely food, will come again, very authentic French
Marche Du Macaron is an absolute favorite of mine and my wife's. Anybody having read my past reviews will know that when we look for places to try and to dine, we have to find places to accommodate my wife's gluten intolerance. This usually equates to her being able to try a limited amount of menu options, or substitutions for items that are not GF. The amazing thing for us is that this isn't something she needs to think about at Marche Du Macaron as the whole menu is GF!
We make the trip across the city from Ipswich at least once every couple of months with the sole intent of coming here. For people that have never tried or bought gluten free breads or flour I could understand why they are shocked at the price or think the baked goods don't taste right, but fact is Marche Du Macaron makes some of the best gluten free bread and pastry I have ever tasted, and the price they ask for their products is better than fair, considering the more inflated prices some competitors put on their lesser quality offerings.
And that's not saying anything about the macarons either. They are absolutely prefectly cook, crisp on the outside, gooey on the inside, and the filling in between the biscuits is always just the right texture and softness, and exploding with flavour.
The shop front is small, but I tend to believe that works to aide it's styling as a small french inspired cafe. The available seating is adequate and all under cover from weather. The available dog tie offs and water dishes are a welcome addition as well for times we decide to bring the four legged family member with us.
With friendly and attentive staff and service, and the fact they offer an all inclusive service to a part of the community that normally has to tear a menu apart to find something they can eat, they will have return customers out of us for years to come.
We finally made it across the river and over to Marche du Macaron in Ashgrove- their new outlet.
Beautiful store - spotlessly and I mean absolutely spotlessly clean.
The outdoor seating is very French in style, simple and elegant.
Parking on road and in the small car park.
The entire premises is gluten free- it's just heaven for coeliacs. I ate my first croissant in about 30 years and it was heaven!
In fact all the savoury food was so good and so filling we couldn't fit in sweets. So we will be going back.
Friendly welcoming staff - all do proud of their Cafe- even the chef came out to say hello.
Di Bella coffee- very good, all coffee requests happily provided.
Walked pass Marche one afternoon and decided to return the next day. It's a tiny little store, so cute. Tried the kiwi and bubblegum macaron. So good! I loved them. Crisp top shell and chewy center, just the way I like my macarons. Flavours wise was just as great, hints of kiwi and flavours of bubblegum which reminded me of my childhood. Would definitely return to try other flavours 👌
Prepare to play tetris when you visit Marche Du Macaron. You come here for delicious macarons and sweets and are faced to battle with a tiny service area for your treats. Stopped in today for the first time for some takeaway macarons. Getting through the door is an ordeal; you could hit a waiting customer in the back when opening the door, you can't really queue it's more trying to maintain your personal space. I'd say only 8 customers could fit inside and even then you can't get a look at the treats cabinet. It shocks me that staff try to weave through with hot coffees, etc to take to customers outside - it seems like a disaster waiting to happen.
I picked out the chocolate ice cream, salted caramel, vanilla bean and jam donut. 3/4 were winners and every morsel was savoured. The jam donut was overpowered with cinnamon flavour and there was no hint of jam to be found, which was a shame. I don't know if I would return here on a Saturday.
The macaron here is to die for! I've seen Marché evolve from a home bake to a chic store with devout following. The only thing is they don't seem to like helping you out with towers/cakes... Submitted inquiries on two different occasions, followed them up, but alas both times our requests were never responded to.. This ethic unfortunately tarnishes their brand.
The most beautiful and the biggest macaroons! I love coming here, the staff were so lovely and helped me and my friend wrangle her pram under shelter when it started raining. Chai latte was yummy too, not all sugary and syrupy like some places. Everyone in Brisbane has to try these Macaroons, they are that good!
Best macarons I've ever had hands down! Love this place. We drive over here every now and again as a treat and they never fail to be amazing! Looking forward to trying their new breakfast menu! Oh and their eclairs are also fabulous!
Lovely, large macarons - at $4 a pop, I really wanted to make my choices count! Salted caramel was great but I can't recommend the lavender.... Just wish there was more seating (it's more a drop in & pick-up).

I will admit my bias up front - I have known one of the Marche Du Macaron family members for a number of years, and I can say wholeheartedly that I am incredibly impressed with what they do. I am a huge fan of macarons and these guys are my favourite in Brisbane hands down. I would say the little mouthfuls of magic make fantastic gifts for people, but to be honest they usually don't survive the car trip home. They're inventive and fun with their flavours, and you know they're fresh when you walk in and hear the mixmaster churning away with the next batch! I adore these guys, not just because they're beautiful people, but because when you eat their delectable delights, you can tell they've really put their heart and soul into making it. I can't wait to see what they do in the future! xx
Drove in specially to try the macarons here. Macarons are relatively big in size and definitely the best I have tried in Brisbane. They have a special flavour each week, the special flavour the week that I went in was sticky date pudding. Unfortunately, the last macaron was bought by the gentleman before me in the queue. Check out their instagram account to know what their flavour of the week is..
Went for the drive to try the macaron's at this quaint shop in the suburbs. The macaron's are big in size and very delicious. In fact they are one of the best I've tried outside Paris. I bought 2 - raspberry and popping candy. Would definitely go back for more!
So many delicious treats, wonderful staff and great coffee. Mother's Day waffles for breakfast are amazing 💕💕💕 Thank you Marche du Macaron
Terrific little cafe. Great coffee and food and lovely service.
Gluten free cafe and has some good dairy free options too
Fantastic range of food and baked goods. Ordered the corn fritters and avocado for brunch and it is the best breakfast i’ve ever had. SO GOOD!
Service was great and timely. Couldn’t have had a better experience 🥰
Amazing food, friendly service, best cafe in Brisbane. Coffee is superb. Highly recommend!
Great little place popular with locals and their dogs. Consistent massive line up to order at the counter inside which is very tiny and can only fit a couple of people at a time. Lots of people waiting for takeaway. Very small brunch menu which is only kept at the counter making it difficult to access. Baked beans were good, avo toast very sweet with all the condiments and avo served as is literally cut in half. With the friendly staff, will be back to try out their cabinet goods!
This cafe is a coeliac wonderland! Everything is lovingly made on site and is 100% gluten free! Amazing pastries and sweet treats. The Macarons are delicious. Fantastic service and great coffee. Don't tell your friends it's gluten-free and they won't be able to tell. Looking forward to my next visit already.
If you follow their very enticing social media, then you know that it is more than macarons on the menu. All sorts of gluten free sweet & savoury goodies
