Wonderful location surrounded in greenery. Staff are friendly enough and service was timely based on the number of patrons today. That’s the upside.
The down, down side: The vegetarian options are a severe let down. The price point was on the higher side for what is offered, but I guess location pr
Lovely location on the edge of the botanic gardens. Kids Fish & chips was small & disappointing. Frappe wasn’t blended well, but tasted nice. Zucchini & corn fritters were tasty, but pricey.
Came here again for coffees & banana bread. Cappuccino was warm & not enjoyable. Frappe wasn’t sweet, despit
Tasty, not fancy, food in a fancy, natural setting. I enjoyed the fish & chips with peas, which looked basic, but were tasty especially the chips. Two friends enjoyed the fritters, which looked good. Other patrons were enjoying a drink and the view of the gardens. Kookaburra made an appearance.
Nothing positive to say unfortunately. The service was gruff from the moment we approached and we felt unwelcome, 40 mins out from closing time. I have always loved this cafe but not for my visit today. Long wait, others served before me, I had to ask staff about the wait (x2) they didn't come to me. I had to rush when my lunch did finally arrive Sure we all get busy and mistakes can occur - but communication not good enough.
Great spot and decent coffee. It’s the only convenient coffee shop open near QUT on weekends but its always 15-20 mins wait for a coffee - even when it’s fairly quiet. A bench in the takeaway area would be good for the older customers too.
The best place in Brisbane to have a coffee and light snack/meal. Close to the CBD yet in wonderful gardens. Great and friendly service. Good coffee, small but all you need menu.
Fantastic customer service, i had the fish & chips also came with peas, the view was stunning
