Brilliant! Best pub experience in awhile. Place wasn't full to the brim making the atmosphere comfy. Food was great, the added sauces took it to the next level!
After dining in for a family event I was disappointed with my meal. I ordered the rib fillet (medium rare) with mash, vegetables and mushroom sauce. The steak was chewy, mushrooms in the sauce were paper thin and very little of and the serve of vegetables was the same as the kids meal. The waiter
We got mouldy corn and a tough as nails $37 'large rump' that is smaller and worse quality than most $15 lunch rumps. This was the worst pub dinner I've ever had. Avoid like the plague...
The venue was nice and well decorated, but entering the building was confusing. The entrance is in the rear of the building, which leads to a bottleneck where you wait to be seated. The ordering process took a long time as well, as there is one counter for ordering beside the kitchen. All the staff
Our order was forgotten, which is fine, mistakes happen and they kindly offered us a voucher for the trouble. When the food did come out, it was pretty rushed to make up for their mistake, and it wasn't great. Will be back though, as the situation was handled really well and I have been before with
The venue is pretty nice, plenty of drinks area, plenty of late night gaming if that's your thing. I had lunch here and it was good food for a pub. I'd go back if I was in the area.
Great meals & great sizes & choices. Very friendly staff. Place looks great renovated as I haven't been there for a while.
Tried the award-winning schnitzel as per photo. 1kg chicken breast, was moist and juicy on the inside. Order and pay at the counter. Friendly staff, good food. They have a restaurant section and a bar section. TV for sports, good natural lighting.
