Brunch catch ups with a friend over the weekend. Presented with another opportunity to tick another place off my list, we decided to go to The Baker's Arms at Woolloongabba. As a highly popular cafe, I wasn't surprised at all to see how packed it was at peak hour brunch on Saturday Morning. Grabbing one of the last seats in the house, we had a nice view of the passing traffic whilst still enjoying the shade. The menu was a bit different from what we found online, my companion had been planning on ordering one dish, which was apparently no longer available, but he managed to find a replacement fairly easily.
Best full-service bakery/ cafe in the area. Very nice and varied breakfast menu and their brownies and cakes are excellent. They also do really good coffee and real brewed chai on milk. The cafe is located in the gentrified section of Logan Road at Woolloongabba so there isn’t much traffic and heaps of other nice cafes as well so it’s a nice vibe.
Beautiful little Melbournesque cafe in the hub of the Gabba precinct across from the Cricket Grounds and Gabba bus station, this is a great place for a light breakky, healthy lunch or in between snack. My sister and I had the salmon cakes with chickpea and pumpkin salad for lunch. It was so tasty and the salad was very fresh. What was even more fresh was the salmon cake - full of fresh salmon, warm mash potato (real potato) and dill and were lightly seasoned in the crumb. I make them well but these were delicious. Friendly efficient staff and the coffee was even very nice which you can't always boast about - usually it's either the food or the coffee that is good, not always both! Plenty of street parking this is a cool little place to check out.
Went to this place for breakfast with the little one, was little hard to find bit got there in the end. Located at the gabba, plenty of parking out front.
With a small menu, decided on the croque madame, latte and 2 baby cinos. The croque madame is basically nice ham between 2 pieces of toast add an egg on top, finished with a side salad. Order and pay at the counter, staff were very friendly.
This place has a good feel to it, was busy for such an early morning. You know it is good if cyclists are drinking coffee after their rides.
The meal was decent size for the price, it was ok, not tbe best. Daughter made a mess by spilling her cini all over the table, i went to ask for some napkins and the staff quickly went to clean the mess. It was very nice of him, he was like Don't worry about it,
Would we go back? One day to show the wife.
We quickly came to The Baker's Arms after breakfast at Pearl Cafe to see if there was anything worth trying. I spotted a vegan chickpea pattie and a protein ball so we got them!!
The chickpea pattie was huge, loaded with veggies as well. After heating it, it was crunchy and flavourful. The protein ball was also super good!!! Full of good stuff!!
Hope to come back and try out the menu soon!!
I've been here twice now for brunch, first time had an amazing potato/chorizo mix on rocket with poached eggs and it's been my favourite brunch of all time! Second time we only got coffee and simple poached eggs and bacon and it was fine, their coffee is excellent!
This spot of Wollongabba has quite a few spots to eat and the Bakers Arms is a perfect spot for brunch or a treat with coffee. It would be good if the iced late came in a variety of sizes as the one size was way to large for my second cup of the day
Backed by one of the owners of Campos Coffee, The Baker’s Arms takes the notion of specialty coffee and extends it to the concept of a specialty bakehouse. Sporting a vast array of freshly baked goods that vary daily, it certainly fills a certain void in the area. The feature point leather-wrapped espresso machine, tiled counter, coffee bean sack wall and exposed brickwork from the factory that was previously on the site, all add to the curiosity and inviting nature of the bakehouse.
Lots of tasty options in the food cabinet. I liked the location and style of the building. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Will be back to try more yummy food.

I've been to the Baker's Arms a few times over the past couple years, most recently on Sunday morning to grab some coffees, carrot cake and caramel fudge.
They serve Campo's Coffee, their baked goods are good and they often have new and/or different treats like ice cream sandwiches or cookie bars to try.
Maybe it was too early of the day, there was only one customer sitting at the al fresco area for the coffee. Walked in and the vibe was just too quiet (no greeting) and found two to three staff working behind the counter. Ordered the flat-white and discovered that they are serving Campos (surely have a guarantee....). Interior deco is a bit of retro-theme and I took a seat inside where I was the only table occupied so I can deliberately appreciate the content of the wall paper which is a local map of Woolloongabba and nearby suburbs. Sometimes, it is a fun and relax to have self-reflection of where I am .......
Breakfast food here was excellent. The only issue was the tiny teapots, only just managed to get one small cup of tea out of it, it was so small the majority of the water got soaked up by the tea leaves. If this was improved it would probably be one of my favorite brunch spots.
A nice place with a good breakfast menu and food with the bacon the highlight, but the service could be better with it taking sometime to explain which size and type of water I wanted and still getting the wrong one, not an ideal thing for a Sunday morning.
Great coffee which has proved hard to find around the area. Great range of savoury slices and baked treats and good service most of the time
Textbook Thick-Shake with classic flavour.
Served Thick and Cold.
Perfect foundations for future flavour expansion.

A good mix of baked goods both savoury and sweet and very well priced. Coffee is campos coffee, always a quick and easy breakfast or lunch.
This place is becoming quite a regular haunt. They do great sandwiches (love the chicken) and a really really good carrot cake. The staff are also super nice.
Always consistent, always busy, friendly service and great selection of food.
Unfortunately there coffee isn't that great, but I put this down to the bean and not the barista.

This place needs to be shut down immediately. It is slowly killing me with all the tasty baked goods they produce. Iam getting my lawyer and heading there for a long black and almond croissant to ddiscussthe law suit and indulge in the evidence.
A new favourite!. I first tried The Baker's Arms over christmas break. It was an EXTREMELY hot and humid day but i had heard good things about the coffee so i NEEDED to try the hot beverage... it did not disappoint at all. We have been a few times now and im not sure what it is, but its so relaxing walking into the Baker's Arm, it has a great vibe and the staff seem very chilled and pleasent. Love to dine in here
Relaxed. Great outlook - I like to sit at the open 'window'. Coffee is good and food is tasty and always well presented. Wide range of savoury and sweet items and for breakfast the bircher aint too bad !
Our local spot on the south side. Be prepared to be mesmerised by the dessert cabinet!
Great coffee and salads as well, the girls are always lovely!
Good spot. I've been here a couple of times to grab some take away. The staff are always really friendly, the coffee is lovely and smooth and the lemon curd cheesecake is just delicious - no soggy bottoms here. The savoury treats are really yummy too. I'd recommend eating in here or grabbing some take away. Good little spot.
If you make your own cakes, slices, pastries, biscuits and breads fresh daily you are already ahead of 3/4 of Brisbanes cafés. Now if you want white bread that you can fold into the size of a mintee wrapper best go elsewhere. If you want paleo culater. If you want crusty chunky slabs of beautiful baked deliciousness with hearty fillings and a joyous life this is your place. If you really want to carb it up, might I suggest the potato & chorizo samosa. It's bigger than a netball court goal circle.
Menu selection is simple and delicious. I love that there are vegan friendly options, even though I'm not vegan, it's good to have a healthy option when I'm not in the mood to pack on the sugar. Coffee is made well too and I love the cosy feel of the cafe. Worth the out of the way stop over before heading to work!
Great local find. Live in the area, and this is my favourite place. All the baked goods look great in the cabinet that I always end up over odering, but the prices are pretty good anyway. Love the coffee here, always order a long macchiato. I usually don't like campos coffee that much, but they seem to do it so well.
Quite possibly my favourite. Amazing coffee and food. I love that the food in the displays are constantly evolving - it's so exciting to turn up in the morning and see what's new or what's back on for the day. Incredibly well priced and I love that the savoury food usually comes with a delicious salad and relish. The sweets are just ridiculously good. I don't know what I love the most - the pumpkin pie or toblerone cheesecake or salted caramel and peanut butter tarts. I'm constantly drooling at the display cabinets, taking forever to decide what to have.
The coffee and juices are always delicious, and their cold drip coffee is pretty much the best thing ever.
And to top it all off, the staff are always incredibly friendly and the decor is just beautiful.
I seriously could go on forever about how great this place is... 10 out of 10 every time :)
Good coffee. Lots of options. Friendly and quick service.
Love It. Finally a place where I can indulge my addiction to enormous gourmet sandwiches and cakes at the same time! Tried the muesli and delighted to find they hadn't drizzled honey all over it (why does everyone do that) - it was so delicious it could have doubled as a dessert. Sausage rolls are like grandma used to make and costs are slightly lower due to counter ordering (in my view). It's real food, presented beautifully, in a great spot with a good vibe. My only complaint is they're not open for dinner!
Diana. Return visit to Bakers Arms after a disapointing cup over the road just had to have a strong coffee hit & this was the choice as Jennifer's was closed next door! Fortunately Baker's serve one of my favourite brews Campos, so I didn't take any chances & went for a shot & a half. Was quite passable
So Good. I am a sucker for baked goods and The Baker's Arms is a knockout.
Well priced and delicious, they always have great stuff on display. Had the Lamb and Coriander Pie and a few sweet desserts and couldn't fault a thing. Service was great and the juices were delicious. Will definitely come back
Well kept secret. This is one of those 'I knew them before they were famous' type places. The baked goods are made with attention to both quality of ingredients and taste. They are 'heavy' but in a good way. Feels like you've had a solid meal even if it's just a quick snack. The coffee is great, with a funky brown leather-clad espresso machine. Just needs to be open longer in the afternoon!!
Armed and Ravenous. Awesome selection of cakes and great coffee - perhaps a bit pricey but that may be the precinct
Yum!. I was excited to see this place open and it has lived up to it's anticipation. I've been here for breakfast twice recently, once with 2 families in tow and it was great! There was something for everyone. I had sweet pastries and coffee the first time, and shared some beef sausage roll which was really meaty and tasty. Bircher muesli the second time, so delicious! . Had a great black coffee made with soda water which was really interesting and quite refreshing. Will come back.
In a word yum. Sweet or savoury I am yet to be disappointed with what I've ordered. Only disappointed that the pumpkin pie we took away was eaten by my sister before I even got a look in! Coffee is tasty enough I have had better but it definitely hits the spot of a saturday morning.
Great Coffee. Very Funky, great eats and really good coffe.
At the Baker’s Arms, Campos coffee tastes like ones at Campos. Sweet, bold, and strong. It tasted like dark chocolate (I really love 80% chocolate). The temperature was nicely hot, not burning hot, nor lukewarm. It was great on a chilly winter morning. Unfortunately, organic blend tasted slightly weaker, or I should say more subtle in taste.
Over the past couple of days, the same name keeps popping up on my Instagram and Twitter feed: The Baker’s Arm . The name brings to mind old medieval alehouses, but it’s an appropriate one. The Baker’s Arm make their own baked goods, so you’d expect to see some bakers’ arms. The Baker’s Arm menu is very simple. There is a beverage menu, but there isn’t a set menu for food. You have to go inside and look at what they have on the counter and in the fridges to make your choice. If you have a sweet tooth, look into the chiller on the right. The left one has the savories, which included at the time we were there, sandwiches, quiches and pies. I couldn’t help but grin at the dishware the Baker’s Arm serve their food on. If you were born in the 70s and 80s, you might remember these plates that allowed you to eat anything from soup to chicken without worrying about toppling over. I remember my grandmothers using these thinly coated metal dishes that came in pale hues of yellow, mint and powde
the almond croissant was very, very nice. It was buttery with a sweet almond filling swirled through the dough and was a wonderful little treat to kick start a morning.
The Bakers Arms is a great place for breakfast, lunch or coffee with friends. There's such a big range of baked goodies, sandwiches and other foods that I'm sure there's something to interest everyone. Both times I went, the staff were really friendly and the service was speedy.
The Chef whipped this up on the spot, chicken pesto pasta
She is amazing. The taste was exquisite. Wonder if she married🤔
The girl at the counter was so lovely attending our table when it was busy, great attitude. Food portions are bigger than the usual cafes! Thumbs up!
Love the decore. Friendly, knowledgable staff. Next level. Well done. Awesome coffee. Amazing selection of in house foods.
These guys and gals know what they are doing!
Tasty food, laid back atmosphere. My cornbread and chorizo was yum. I enjoyed my sparkling long black coffee too.
Love their food, good variety of vegan/vegetarian options. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, highly recommended!
