We never been a Haktaya like this, unfriendly and impatient staffs, not enough amount of noodles. All of my families love Hakataya ramen. Very disappointed today.

Average, but the guy working that time was not practicing food hygiene. After he touch his nose, he grabbed the noodles. It is disgusting!

This ramen joint has been around for years and it's still very popular amongst Asians in Sunnybank. If you like Japanese street style ramen noodle soup, you will like Hakataya Ramen. I really loved the broth used in their spicy miso ramen. It's a balance between the spiciness from the chilli powder and the miso bean curd taste. Extra noodles is still free of charge and you can ask for it when you order your ramen. And I love that they still give out free birthday ramen on your birthday to say thanks to their customers. The staff were all very friendly and approachable with good English communication skills.
