I love to get out to Manly on the weekends and walk around the waterfront, it’s such a beautiful spot. I came across Coopers Café on Instagram (as you do) and saw they had a new menu launching, which obviously I had to try. I had eyed up the waffles and knew they looked AMAZING and while it’s not what I normally eat (I’m more of a savoury than sweet girl at breakfast) I decided to give them a whirl. It was definitely dessert for breakfast! Waffles with raspberry coulis, coconut crumb, a nutella ganache and it looked oh-so-pretty!! Who doesn’t love a side of Persian fairy floss with their breakfast? I also had a freshly pressed juice to start the day too – it made me feel healthier, haha.
Went for breakfast yesterday and enjoyed the best french toast ever! Bacon was yummy and the iced latte was perfect. My friend had the brekkie roll (just a little too much sauce) and a pot of tea. It was after 9am and it was not as crowded as it usually is earlier. Perfect atmosphere/view/staff. Left feeling very full and happily relaxed.
Went to explore this place last Sunday morning and as usual it was packed with customers. With respect to their ordering system, I had to place my order at the counter but I needed to tell them where would I sit, which was a bit chaotic. Since it was so busy, someone might sit on the table that I preferred while I was placing my order, so......... I think the management should think about it. Well, eventually I managed to take a seat facing the waterfront, the reflection of sunlight on the horizon made me so happy (whenever I look at the horizon of the sea, I will have that feeling). Although I think the croissant with Jam & Butter was too pricy, they delivered a nice quality of food to me. Matching with a strong coffee, I was satisfied.......
A great place to go for fish and chips! My husband and I got the snapper with chips and salad and enjoyed every mouthful. A gorgeous view and very friendly wait staff. I would definitely recommend!
Had such a lovely breakfast here this morning with a friend. The meals were all nicely served by friendly staff. The only downside was the meals come out at different times (about 10mins difference). I would definitely go back though.
Some of the loveliest breakfasts I have ever had! I live quite close so it's a lovely place to have a Sunday morning walk and brunch. Their service tends to be quite slow, but apart from that, it's definitely one of my favourite places to go for local food

The first restaurant I went to when I landed in Australia was Cooper's Cafe. Cooper's faced a gorgeous view of the Manly Bay. They served only during breakfast and brunch hours. I had their Moreton Bay Chicken Burger which was good. I wasn't crazy about the burger but I loved the cafe itself. It had a lot of open space and was a great place to hang during a beautiful, sunny day.
If you enjoy beautiful scenery while eating lunch, Cooper's Cafe is a great place to do so.
Great visit. Lovely lunch and coffee. Will come back.
Great day. Went for breakfast was greeted lovely by a happy cheerful Irish lass who made a great coffee then proceeded with the avocado smash was cooked to perfection all a great experience
Simply Amazing!. What a wonderful experience! Amazing food and the service was impeccable, thank you for the experience!
Delicious lunch. Had a great lunch on Sunday, haloumi salad was delicious with plenty of dressing and lots of crunchy walnuts. My sister had the chicken Caesar. Yum! Service was friendly and efficient. Have also enjoyed breakfast here in the past. Am looking forward to the opportunity of dining and enjoying their new licensed drinks menu too!!!!
MUSHY PEAS!. Just tried the mushy peas! They were awesome! Don't have to be English to love this place!
Fantastic location to stop and take in the view :). Being a visitor to Manly, I chose Coopers because they were busy, very busy... and then I found out why! We ordered two mains and two kids meals and everything was brilliant. Our food was fresh, tasty and served up with some love. The kids meals were generous and they loved their chippies.... Can't go past this place at Manly.
Best coffee in manly!! Lovely service the girls were very helpful and the food was amazing! Will definitely be back
Our haven. We go here regularly to de-stress and the food and service is always outsanding with a great view. It is also nice and close to the water.
Great coffee, great food, great service. Alway a friendly smile and great chat can't speak highly enough of coopers
Love The New Renovations. Coopers Cafe or COOPS as we locals call it has been a favourite from the day I moved into the area. I self confessed (and proud coffee "snob") I thought it would be hard to beat my previous "local" cafe. The staff food outlook and of course the coffee were excellent from day one. There are times when the wait time can be a bit longer than you would like but that's what you get when you have such beautiful views from a beach front cafe on school holiday weekends. It is more than made up for with the great service and food. Having just returned from a holiday in Bali it was great to see the new renovations, face lift, and to enjoy a great coffee again.
Iced Mocha. Best iced mocha I've ever had. Perfect blend of fresh coffee and homemade chocolate sauce. One is never enough, they should serve them in buckets!
Loved it!. The view was amazing, staff were super friendly, and the veggie burger is delicious. Very happy, will definitely be coming back :)
Lisa featherstone. I visit coopers regularly for coffee and to take in the view which are both excellent the staff are always friendly and it has a welcoming feel , there seems to be a few changes and improvements to the menu which is a good thing I would however like to take advantage of there licensing and enjoy Friday afternoon drinks ( if they where open ) !
Visited during the week, the service was excellent and the food was very good value, I ha the mega manly, which really was the best breakfast out I've ever had ( apart from my wife's ;))!
Went to coopers this morning, had THE best eggs benedict with bacon, they have converted my feelings for spinach, i love it. A good soy cap is a hard thing to find, but coopers hits the spot. the staff are so kind and caring, always smiling. amazing experience all together for anzac day, thanks coopers :)
Tasty. Went for a breakfast with my husband this morning. I had the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, delicious! the hollandaise sauce was just to die for and the spinach was just a bit wilted, not as if has been sitting in the plate for a while. Love the runny eggs -many other restaurants not even now how to serve a poached one- and the smoke salmon. Service was nice, friendly and always with a smile. It pick my eye that in a table of 7 people all of them had their coffee and breakfasts served at the same time, something that is not common to see in cafes nowadays. The ambience very casual and warm. Love it! Definitely will go back!
Excellent view and friendly staff with great coffee and fantastic food. Very fresh and an obvious high standard set by management. Will be back again for sure.
Happy chef happy days. What a pleasant surprise to go to an eatery where the chef interacts with the customers, smiling, joking, singing. his food isn't bad either. happy days.
Great and friendly staff. Delicious food and we got two complimentary freshly squeezed orange juices upon arrival.
Yum. I recently had breakfast at Coopers and I found the food to be delicious. It was well cooked and very tasty. The view is wonderful, looking out over the bay and the yachts and the service was good. I would recommend the cafe to anyone...bon appetite.
Beautiful fish and chips. From the beer battered chips to the fresh Australian fish to the plentiful fresh salad the meal was perfect. A beautiful meal in a beautiful setting - well done Cooper's it is clear that you enjoy what you do - keep it up
Great place to relax. I recently dropped in to Coopers for breakfast whilst on my travels, being pleasantly surprised to find such a nice cafe. It was also a nice change to be served by genuinely pleasant people who clearly enjoy customer service. This lovely little cafe is very clean and pleasant, and the deck is especially inviting. The coffee's good, views over the sparkling bay really lovely to relax by, and the poached eggs for this very fussy customer were perfect. It's also great to see a cafe moving with the times and allowing people with well behaved pooches to enjoy a coffee on the deck - water bowls provided - nice touch... will definitely be back.
