Three words sum up this venue at the Mantra: YUM YUM YUM! Service was ** EXCELLENT **. Speed of meal delivery & presentation was BRILLIANT. And the flavours were AMAZING! Our family of 2 adults & 2 fussy kids started with the Rosemary and Garlic bread. Atlantic salmon, red duck for the adult mains, chicken skewers & pork ribs for the kids (11 &14 yo's). Side dish of their crispy potatoes.... nothing was left on anyone's plate, and we weren't wanting for more. The prices were VERY reasonable for a quality meal and experience.
If you're in Brissy/Spring Hills, I recommend trying this place; you WON'T be disappointed!
Stumbled upon this cozy restaurant and bar and decided to give it a go. I'm glad, as I've discovered our new favourite chicken schnitzel! Their schnitzel special is fantastic, big portion, delicious sauce and cooked to perfection. The service was great too. The waitress recommended getting the special and recommended the sauce to go with it (as you get a choice of 3). She was great! Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We also got the salmon and sweet potato croquette. This too was great. Came with so much salmon inside and the dill sauce complimented the dish to perfection. Will be returning with the whole office next time!
3 of us had lunch there today. Menu is not extensive but it has something for pretty much everyone. Quality and flavours were outstanding. Service was attentive and friendly. Atmosphere very good for a lunch experience. Recommend for business and casual dining.
Have come to this place for lunch for the third time now during a business trip to Brisbane CBD. Some delicious options, I ordered the garlic and thyme mushrooms on sourdough with porcini cream the first day which was brilliant fine lunching, followed by the crispy salmon with a salad and chorizo bits on the second which was also delicious. I've now just polished off the beetroot and coriander curry with cucumber salad, which was surprisingly fresh and full of flavour considering the lack of usual chicken / beef / lamb which is present in other curries. Service is also great, staff are friendly and professional. Highly recommend!
Diana. Well I must have picked on a good day for the coffee because it was brilliant. Toby's Estate blend, smooth, full bodied flavour & well executed brew. The barista was friendly & no problems with the service at all
My partner and I enjoyed the food and was very good. The atmosphere was very good.
I have the rib and she had the risotto.
The only issue was with the service. It was a bit slow and had to grab the waitresses attention to order food and drinks.

Regular customer never dissapointed. I don't know what I'd do without the O Bar, the hot chocolates are fantastic and the menu offers light and fresh options. Staff are great and it's a fantastic atmosphere.
Had brekkie here two days (soon to be three) in a row as staying in hotel next door. Great service, well-made coffee and the breakfasts are a comfortable portion size. My orders came out really fast and the quality and flavours were still excellent. Recommend the homemade tomato chutney with your eggs on toast, yum!
Excellent service at this place. Stayed at Diamant Hotel for work and decided to have dinner at O Bar & Restaurant just because it was simply the closest dining option. Ordered the lamb loin with goats curd. It was divine. Perfectly cooked and complemented with goats curd, paper thin zucchini slices and cubed sweet potatoes. The lovely waitress asked if I was driving because she was pouring me an extra big glass of wine. Thankfully I was not. Great service!
Order the Rib Eye massive portion but yummy if you are happy to wait for it. I also had the Pork belly it was also nice went well with the thick cut chips. Add a nice cold beer perfect. Great place in a daggy street.
Fantastic meal!. Had dinner here last week and LOVED IT. From the entrees to the mains to the desserts... All of them were executed really well and my partner and I couldn't have asked for more. Special mention goes out to the quail entree - though tiny in portion size as compared to the swordfish entree, it was flavourful and so well-cooked we savoured every last bit there was! The peanut butter parfait for dessert was to-die-for as well (have uploaded some photos).
We will definitely be back! :)
Worlds friendliest Bar. The service here second to none. Friendly and helpful.
The best coffee this side of town.
The owner is a lovely lady and always a pleasure to see her face.
The meals are fair sized and priced accordingly.
Their hospitality to Army personnel having a quick bite whilst I was there was more than hospitable.
Parking their only let down through no fault of their own.
Will definitely be back for dinner.
I enjoyed it. The food was good, not overpowering with subtle favours using fresh seasonal ingredients. I had lunch Dinner and Breakfast while I stayed at the funky Diamant Hotel. The service was good and in the case of the petite young foreign waitress ( name S) it was exceptional. Great atmosphere, precisely what I was after rather than staying in major hotels.
We had breakfast here on a Saturday morning and loved it! It's very reasonably priced, has a funky interior and perfectly poached eggs. I would recommend it to all breakfast lovers.
Best cocktails Vanilla passion fruit Cosmo delish ...classy decor Bar staff very friendly and on the ball ..recommend a grazing board with your drinks mmm tasty
Great breakfast. Yes, you may have to wait 20 minutes for your breakfast, but it is the best Spring Hill has to offer. Had the mushrooms with poached eggs and hollandaise and it was perfect, in flavour and the way it was cooked, nice sourdough used too. Staff were friendly and efficent and the coffee was pretty good, we will def eat there again.
What a great place! Food, service and atmosphere all five star. Will definitely be back.
ThIs is a very good venue. We went for a company lunch and found the food well presented, good value with plenty of variety. The staff were friendly and prompt with their service and the atmosphere was very relaxing. A good range of local and imported beers. Thoroughly recommended.
Sensational. The decor and ambiance is dripping with class, the service staff are friendly and attentive, and the chefs clearly know what they're doing.
This place is now amidst the few restaurants at the top of my Brisbane list. A must try, and may I suggest the sour dough rolls with truffle butter and vintage balsamic for a shared starter - yum!
The O Bar was an interesting looking spot. From the outside, it had a very modern appearance, with lots of wood and feature brickwork, but inside, it went from contemporary to 'old-world' charm. In fact, it looked a lot like the inside of a Swiss ski chalet with a patchwork of exposed stone and a warm feeling that would not be out of place in any Scandinavian country. It was quite a juxtaposition between the inside and out, especially with the crazy lighting features that separated the two.
