This place is fantastic, the staff are wonderful and award winning coffee is awesome too. The owner and chef cooks up very tasty western/Asian fusion food from a decent menu and also adds a traditional Chinese meal called Congee on the menu, if you've never tried this, I'd highly recommend it. Definitely one of my favourite places in Brisbane.

Lovely staff and atmosphere. The fried rice is definitely worth trying. I haven’t tried the congee but will do next time.

This cafe was a lovely surprise for breakfast. The food was tasty, well priced and generously portioned. We wished we had room for one of their home made slices because they looked fantastic- next time! A nice atmosphere and enclosed, with long panels of windows to watch the world go by from the warmth of the indoors. Coffee and juice were great too. Staff were friendly. We'll be back!

Beautiful, creative dishes. Friendly staff and incredible desserts! Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to sit for a breakfast or dinner. Large menu options with variations of traditional breakfast items.

Their congee always slaps, and the coffee isn't bad either. It is westernised, but not quite so bad as you might think. Worth a try.

This place has awesome food and great service for a fair price if you're looking for a late breakfast. We arrived at 10:00am, there was heaps of seats and the service was fantastic. Plenty of parking and easy to find.
The decor is a bit average. Some new curtains and maybe even some outdoor awnings with some seating would make this place a great spot for a quiet breakfast.

We stayed at the nearby Riverside Hotel and had breakfast here four times. The dining room and kitchen all looked extremely clean and sparkling. The food was delicious, we enjoyed everything we tried on the menu, which was a little more creative than other places we visited. And the juices and coffee were also excellent. <br/>Keep up the great work Kongee!

Terrible. Waited over 40 mins for bacon and eggs. Four tables who arrived and ordered after us got their food before us. So disappointed, won't go back.

Highest standards I've seen in a long time. Excellent lunch (chicken fettuccine) and a wonderful coffee to follow. Place is spotless and would beat almost every other restaurant for highest standards. Don't be surprised when this place starts winning awards! Can't wait till they open for dinner!
