Review Hakataya Ramen - Brisbane

Today I visited this store at queen street. Ordered the same food as my last visit sunny bank outlet.. taste is just as good in comparison. Next time I will order something else for a change. Only thing is, it does not offer senior discount.

Excellent ramen. The quality is always good. The food is filling and delicious from the beginning til the end. The restaurant is in an interesting spot and feels relatively peaceful compared to its surroundings. It's a great place to stop by after work or uni. The other locations are great too.

Delicious ramen. Exactly what I needed on a cold winter's day. Thanks

One of the best places in the city for Ramen. Even being busy and with less staff, They don’t have a very long wait time. Lunchtime is usually very as it’s a small place make sure you plan your time accordingly.

We went there on a Saturday late arvo. Customer service was below average. The waiter was "cold" - did not really engage with us. Not rude per se but he seemed like he did not want to communicate with us. We ordered the nagahama and the spicy-men ramen. They were nice but certainly nothing special. The spicy-men was quite hot (for a 1/3 on the spiciness scale) in my opinion. Overall, a very average experience.

Wanted a chashumen with a side of spice the guy at the counter said you can’t do that because the next one down is spicy you’ll have to add extra chashu to your order and get that one and it’s the same thing. Well it wasn’t the same thing it was too spicy it had 4 pieces of chashu instead of 6 and I paid an extra $3 to get what I didn’t want. The ramen is great I just wish staff would just take orders and not upsell a far worse deal…. (Side note) It’s also rude give people such spicy take away with no napkins…

Very simple menu but it works in its favour in everyway, the most authentic and beat tasting ramen around plus the added bonus of it being responsibly cheap. I love stopping by this place every time I'm in the city

Yes the decor is very basic but if all you need is great ramen and excellent gyoza then you won’t be disappointed. Delicious!!

Good place for a quick feed, sometimes the food is very unpredictable like it tastes different and is presented different depending on who makes it. I remember always coming here before covid started and remembering the short girl who always cooked at lunch would make the best presentable ramen. Unfortunately i think she quit and so did the ramen quality go down.

I wasn’t feeling the greatest, so I knew that I had to come to Hakataya for some soup and noodles. I’ve come here so many times in the past few years and it holds a special place of comfort for me. I ordered my usual, the #1. I would say that this is THE place/chain to go to if you want a consistently good basic ramen. It’s cheap, tasty and is served quickly. I wouldn’t say that this bowl is as complex as other ramen places in Brisbane, but I love it nonetheless. Don’t forget to order your かえだま! Enjoy😊

Delicious noodles , went for a quick lunch . Served really quickly too . Great fast food ~

The extra noodle is the best for people who loves more ramen .

Don’t know why they decided to put a restaurant literally only metres away from an existing one... This one is a legit restaurant though - completely separate from Myer Centre, with a nice dining area and even its own toilets. The ramen was good as usual and came out fairly quickly. With prices on slightly the cheaper side, and tasting pretty much the same as other places (IMO), a decent place to go to for Japanese ramen.

Ordered the ‘Nagahama Ramen’ and the ‘Shio Spicy-men’. Both are served with a side of spicy Japanese pickles. The serving sizes are decent and the wait time was not long at all considering it was around 7pm. The pork was delicious and cooked perfectly. The restaurant also supplies extra add ons such as soy sauce, chilli & sesame seeds. You can also have an extra bowl of complimentary noodles on request. Highly recommend.

Been here a couple of times now and always had good service. They are always very busy during lunch time but we have always managed to find a seat. What l love about this place is that have self service water. Small things but it makes sense. When they serve you your ramen they ask if you want extra free noodles. It has to be one of the best ramens i have had. Never been dissappointed.

Decent bowl of ramen with generous servings (you can get extra noodles for free). The service was good, but flavour wise it's not the best ramen I've had in brisbane. I would come back if I'm craving noodles because it's conveniently located around brisbane.

As expected from Hakataya, their ramen never disappoint me. Although it is not the best ramen, the soup is rich in flavour, the noodle is chewy and the pork is tender.
Add crushed sesame to make ur ramen more delicious!!

Came for the first time to this Hakataya, and love their ramen normally but today we had a horrible experience. It was my sisters birthday today so she came to get her free birthday ramen. The man who served us today was extremely rude from the moment we came in, yelling at us to order quicker and was extremely rude in bringing out the food also. Will not be coming back here and am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with this experience, it’s a shame this man is ruining Hakataya Ramen’s name.

Great pricing and nice spicy tonkotsu. This place is a nice choice, hidden away from the mall by some stairs leading down to a small but cosy shop. Don't forget the extra noodles are free so remember to ask for them if you're feeling extra hungry.

These ramen are packed with flavours, you could really taste a handful of flavour within the first spoonful of soup. I’m literally in love with their Gyoza. It’s a punch in the face with burst of flavours when you first take your first bite, so many flavours in their Gyoza. Also i got served by the cutest person, she was so bubbly and so cute.
