We decided to get some catering delivered to a party l was hosting and Heart Thai ticked all the boxes for us. Con made the whole planning process extremely easy and his customer service was so polite and humble. Nothing seemed too difficult and he delivered the food himself and set it up. The food was great. We got pad thai, green curry, cashew nut, thai fried rice and boiled rice. It was a huge hit at the party and everyone was very impressed that this food just got delivered so easily. Can't wait to go to the actual restaurant and try more.
Tried their som tum, ginger shallot fish and fried pig cutlet, along with red rice. The servings were huge, especially the rice. The food was tasty and I'd return again.
We had takeaway from here last night and the food was super tasty. I especially liked the fighting fish, Mossamon beef and also the pad Thai. All the dishes had great flavour. Very enjoyable meal.
Weeknight dinner. It opens at 5pm. The food is quick and fresh. I asked for Thai hot and boy did I get Thai hot!!
It was yum. Price was reasonable. Portions are huge. Both of us took a takeaway box and kept some for lunch the next day.
Now just bear in mind that this is a suburb takeaway, not a top shelf restaurant. Don’t expect attentive a service or beautiful presentation or complex flavours etc etc

Welcoming, cosy and quirky, Heart Thai Food was just the pick me up I needed. We ordered the “when pigs fly” and “Pad See You” and they were both absolutely delicious and filling. I felt accommodated knowing that they serve gluten free as well as vegan options for most of their meals. Thanks for having us!! We’ll definitely be back :)
Nup. A strong try but nothing like its nearby progenitor. Formulaic execution of its received menu. Disappointing and workpersonlike. Return to the basics please. It’s ok but could be much much better.
This is probably my favorite place for Thai food right now, the food in this place always taste fresh and is consistently good.
I have tried a few dishes from their menu between entrees and curries and I was mostly happy with all I have had.
I would highly recommend the curry puffs, they have the best ones from all places I have tried, today I ordered for the first time their golden parcels and it's also surprisingly good and tasted quite different from the ones I've had before.
The staff is also always polite and they have always greeted me with a smile all the times I have been here.
In short words, whenever I think about Thai food this place comes to my mind!
We enjoyed our experience at My Thai. It is a small street kitchen type of venue with home style cooking. They make it to order & if you request hot you get it! My order was the usual stir fried vegetables & there was a decent selection with good spice blends, have to say a welcome addition to Milton with some great lunch time specials

My Thai is all about great food. Their lunch time weekly specials are a hit and I've enjoyed all of them. Friendly staff and really quick service, I recommend this place to anyone wanting an amazing meal for lunch or dinner. I have not yet done the cooking classes but imagine they would be awesome. One day when I'm not so busy eating their food...
This is definitely our favourite Thai takeaway. Their Lamb with sweet basil is amazing and a whole lot of other dishes/entrees like Pad Thai, One Nation, Golden Parcel, Fish Cakes, Fried Prawns, etc. Service is excellent! For us, it's the best Thai takeaway in Brisbane.
I finally decided to try this place and I was not disappointed. The curry puffs were absolutely delicious - I wish I had ordered more. Also the chicken basil and chilli stir fry I ordered was perfect. Brilliant flavours, a nice selection of veges and plenty of chicken included. Overall a very enjoyable experience and I look forward to returning

Came here at least twice already, great location with plenty of places to park just right outside the eatery. So far I've only tried the Pad Thai and the drunken noodle.
The Pad Thai was perfect, it had just the right amount of noodles & meat. Most pad Thais come to you dry but the one at M.T.K Milton serves to you a little wet, just the way I like it.
The drunken noodles was a little oily, but the flavouring of the dish made up for it. Filled with capsicums and beef, the dish would be perfect in the winter. You are also able to choose how spicy you like your dishes, just let the staff know and it'll be done for you!
Perfect little gem in Milton, I will be coming back for more; especially during lunch when they have lunch specials and lunch deals. The only drawback is that the food is served in takeaway containers so if you want plates and water, it is pretty much self service. The food is worth it though.
Overall, great Thai food and a nice place to hang. I will definitely be recommending M.T.K Milton to my friends!
Great price for some fantastic authentic curry. Highly recommend the seafood red curry and chicken panang curry which were both flavoursome, creamy, generous servings that beautifully represent genuine Thai food! Unfortunately it's not restaurant style, so the food is delivered in takeaway containers and cutlery is basic plastic fork and plates.

Dined in with friends in group of four. We ordered quite a few dishes and they were mostly superb. "Fish cakes" and "Pork this way" gained the big ticks. Soup of "Tom Yum" and "Bangkok Laksa" were let down due to too sweet and lack of hot element. "Beef on laab" was the best I ever had; "My Thai in the roof" was so rich in red curry favor and generous on seafoods. The calamari was perfectly matched with the sauce in the "Tax return" and the "Tom Yum Fried Rice" was above average. Overall, it was a happy dining experience, however, this restaurant is really negative in environmental protection. Everything provided are disposable utensils including Take-Away containers, paper plates, forks and spoons. I wish the management can think about it and supports the campaign of environmental protection.
I am always looking for the best Thai food in town; Hot and spicy with much herb within the food. However, My Thai Kitchen could not reach my personal standard.
The original Thai taste in this shop has been modified to a mild level in order to match the locals' taste bud. I have to admit they are doing quite well at this. I saw heaps and heaps take away customer ringing, waiting for their order. So that proves their strategy is quite successful. Nice flavor, rich herbs and fresh ingredient do satisfy people. The high light of the night was the red curry with seafood; Abundant fruity taste mixed with coconut milk and curry, a little bit touch of garlic and lemon grass, massive seafood (squid, prawn, maybe fish) within. Hope they could put more chili in it.
Undoubtedly, it is a nice take-away restaurant, but for me, the dishes are just lacked of enough burning hot chili taste. No offend, just not my type.

Nothing other than the food ...... This is probably one of the most understated Thai restaurants I've ever come across. Dine in, and the food comes in takeaway containers. BYO and you can have your wine from a tin stemless ... something or other ....
This place is about nothing other than the food, and it's fantastic. Best fish cakes I've ever had, and could not fault anything else.
We easily got by for two, with two entrees, a main and rice. I can't recommend them highly enough!
Complex cuisine for the masses. A fantastic restaurant with delicious food and a friendly atmosphere. Love coming here and love coming back even more because the food is always outstanding.
Favourite Thai in Brisbane. Always a great fan of MTK. Love stopping in for the $10 lunch specials, and have done two cooking classes here. Taya and her team are fantastic and prepare an authentic reasonably priced meal. Definitely would recommend!
Tried this place after seeing it randomly when parking - what a lovely find. Although a takeaway place we were able to sit on a huge table inside and eat, (bring plates and cutlery to enhance the experience) food a bit pricier than regular Thai takeaways but the quality is so much higher. There were dishes you won't find normally (the grilled steak and dry lamb curry both excellent) lots of flavour, fresh taste and a cut above the Thai-by-numbers I've often eaten. You can actually see into the kitchen and watch the food being cooked, always reassuring. Definitely be going back.

Best in Brisbane!. Best Thai in Brisbane, if not the best food in Brisbane. Always fresh. However, price has gone up significantly this year, making it quite expensive for a take-away restaurant. This won't stop us being regular customers!
Excellent Thai Takeaway. After trying many Thai restaurants in Brisbane, I feel that My Thai Kitchen in Milton is the best Thai takeaway by far. The food is absolutely delicious, especially their Pad Thai and Chicken Satay.

Fantastic. Came here for a quick lunch while I was running errands in the area. Had the red chicken Curry and Rice and it was fantastic. It had a little more heat than the usual takeaway red curries I have had in the past, but this made it even better.
Good. All round, good Thai food. Had the papaya salad, which wasn't particularly great, but the pad thai was the best i've had in brisbane and the took took chicken was good too. Green curry was disappointing - a bit too sweet, but the place was bustling and the prices reasonable. will be back!

Best Thai Food in Brisbane!. My partner has lived in Brisbane longer than I have. He's also travelled to Thailand and loved the food there. That's why, for the life of me, I couldn't understand why he never wanted to go out for Thai food when I moved here from the U.S. almost two years ago. Back in the States, I was always pretty pleased with most every Thai restaurant I'd eaten at-- and I've lived in many parts of the U.S. It was strange to me that, according to him, there was *no* really good Thai restaurant in all of Brisbane. That seemed crazy! Sure enough, though, as we DID try some Thai restaurants around the city--at my request-- I began to understand what he meant. The food at most all of them was nothing beyond merely okay. I could see why he'd been reluctant and I found myself disappointed as well. ENTER MY THAI KITCHEN! We discovered this place a few months back thanks to the many encouraging reviews on Urban Spoon. We have been there now about a half dozen times and are eager to return after the holidays. It is hands down the best Thai restaurant in Brissie. The dishes are beautifully prepared, excellently spiced, and, according to my partner, the most similar to what he'd eaten in Thailand. I haven't been to Thailand myself, but THIS is the kind of Thai I've always eaten, loved, and craved both in the States and in other parts of the world where I've spent any length of time. I also love that you can get the food as hot and spicy as you want...even to the tune of 'Thai Hot'. Thank you, My Thai Kitchen, for offering such AMAZING food. You are definitely MY Thai Kitchen now. :)

Always amazing!. A fantastic restaurant here on all fronts, from the take-away to the groceries to the cooking classes. Every bit as good as its sister restaurant a few streets away, with the best Thai food I've encountered to date, and reasonably priced as well. I have also been to two of the cooking classes, Taya is a great teacher and gives plenty of insight into the tips and tricks to make the meals really work at home. Finally, the grocery & cookware section is great for those ingredients you can't find anywhere else, and the high quality cookware is easily half the price of buying 'cheap' items in other stores.

Amazing food, service, atmosphere. I have been to this kitchen over 30 times since moving to Brisbane, I have searched high and low for a Thai restaurant and this is the place! Wonderful service every time, particually on the phone when ordering takeaway. I've never had to wait for a meal and the place is clean and friendly.
The cashew chicken is to die for, out of this world. They are incredibly generous with both the chicken and cashews ( which is a rarity!) and the sauce is of perfect flavour. I've been going here for a long time and I definitley don't plan on stopping any time soon!

So cute! not the best to dine-in unless you want something ultra casual - paper plates & plastic cutlery, no table service whatsoever & v minimal seating. but i don't mind this. you can take your own wine. kitchen is open and v clean. take-away is prob best option but i'm not living in the area. food is fresh and well prepared. black rice pudding is yummo! such a refreshing change from brisbane restaurants.

Fantastic takeaway. I get takeaway from My Thai Kitchen at least once a week - the food is fresh and made quickly, and very reasonably priced. As a vegetarian, they have a great range of options without meat and are very willing / helpful when it comes to substitutions.
My Thai Kitchen Milton. OMG order 2 Panang curries coz I woke up in the morning craving My Thai's Panang curry for breakfast! So good and my celiac daughter can eat almost everything on the menu! So fresh and clean. Love it! We came from Gold coast and I haven't had Thai that comes close since.. will come 2 brissy more often. Pad Siew was the best I've had too

Wow, wow, wow, what an amazing small business! We had the most delicious catering delivered straight to our door for a birthday party celebration and it was an absolute hit! Con was excellent to deal with, the portions were very generous and the flavour was fantastic! The bain maries looked great and keep the food warm for ages and then Con collected everything a few hours later. Highly recommend.

Excellent food choices ranging from entree, main dish, chef's sugguestion as well as desserts at this busy casual Thai restaurant tucked away in Milton. Quick friendly service. Staff are helpful. Nice succulent chicken satay skewers. However, the Smokey beef lack that Smokey taste and rather watery sauce.

4.5 stars is on the money. Closer to 5 than 4 though. I Ordered the Pad Thai seafood. Dine in. $15.50. Flavour was good. Beautiful wedge of fresh lime on the dish. I was very pleasantly surprised when I tasted a sea scallop. There are also two beautiful king prawns in there one with the tail on. It's lovely to see some restaurants still using quality local and imported ingredients.
The decore is simple, functional and easy on the eyes.

Great fresh healthy Thai food! I've eaten here several times and it's always delicious. You can tell all the veggies are fresh. There is no corkage for BYO and you can buy a beer or wine a few doors down to enjoy with your meal. They do takeaway and have a few tables (inside and outside) if you would like to eat there.
We has Heart Thai cater for 40 people for my 50th birthday party last weekend. They delivered an array of hot, delicious food which they set up quickly and with minimal fuss. They even provided take away containers for leftovers. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was. The next day they came and took away the bain-maries (which we didn't have to clean). We had fabulous food for almost no effort from us and at a very reasonable price. It was a huge success. We would definitely call them in again.
