Our favourite coffee stop at Paddington. Coffees here rate between 4 and 5 depending on which Barista is on duty. We ask for a Cafe Latte and a Macchiato. It’s our lucky day and our coffees are hot, intense and full flavoured. Perfect!
Went there for a Tuesday night dinner and quite a nice place with plenty of indoor and out seating. Parking can be bit difficult. Burger is quite good I had remy special with double patty. Could add more seasoning to patty. Chips were quite nice taste and came earlier as entree. Overall quite good.
Remy specials is my favourite burger, especially on Sundays when it's 2-for-1 between 3:30pm and 6pm! This place does amazing burgers every time I visit!
Another weekend means another brunch along Paddington, I swear that Adam and I always seem closer to having eaten at every cafe and another one pops up. Guess it will be a never ending quest. This week we went out to try the breakfast offering at the relatively unassuming Remys, along LaTrobe Terrace.
Great burgers and the beers are the GOAT. If you order the cheese burger, get two, they are so good it's sad when you finish. Love the loaded chips as well 😁
Another awesome place in Paddington. So lucky to be surrounded by so many amazing cafes and restaurants. Went for a quick drink with a friend and it was a perfect location. I loved the cocktail selection on offer. Got incredible Bacon Bloody Mary and omg it wasn't just a drink but a mini meal as well. My friend got an expresso martini and she loved it as well. Service here was great too. Really friendly and kind. Can't wait to come back and try the burgers on offer. I found the prices very reasonable too. Loved Remy's.
Excellent coffee (on oat m*lk, very good to see, as were the veg/vegan options on the menu), friendly & helpful staff. Seems a very popular place!
Second time at remy’s. Loved their cheeseburger. Simple but def delicious. The price was fair. The only thing I wasn’t happy about was the paddy. It was a bit dry on the edge and not juicy enough, other than that, it was all good. So far have only tried their cheeseburger but would be up for a trip back for something else. The menus look promising. Maybe another time of the day.
This is my favorite burger shop in Brisbane
In particular, maobao and jerk chicken burgers are special compared to other specialty stores. Also chip is fresh and cheap.
Especially I love jazz band performances makeing good mood every thurdays!
Consistently great coffee, brekky, burgers and beers. The friendly staff (with great music taste) keep me coming back every week, and if burgers arent your go-to, give taco tuesday's a go! ($10 for 4 taco's what whaaaat)
Best burgers and vibes in town! Also amazing coffee 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Ps: you gotta try the Remos huevos, Spanish style baked eggs on the brekky menu (plz add avo and bacon) so damn tasty!
This little burger joint provides a lot more than just a tasty burger. Aside from their house-made fries and sauces, their assortment of thickshakes (including a crunchie shake with homemade honeycomb - I mean !!!), and even the decadent, dessert-worthy Bircher muesli they offer. Aside from the list of basic cocktails that includes a not-so-basic-and-pretty-extra bacon Bloody Mary, and the ever-adapting beer menu. Remy’s provides a scrumptious experience that’s established through the food and drink, but also through the all-inclusive atmosphere that invites with open arms, any old joe to enjoy a cheeky bev and burg. The staff are approachable and the music’s always poppin, and Remy’s is the sure fire way to get first-class tickets for a trip to flavour town.
One of the coolest places to grab a drink and burger! I can't stop coming back here! The chilled vibes of the beer garden, simple but amazing burgers, cheap drinks, amazing thick shakes and some of the funkiest music around just make me love this place! Hamish
Such a rare treat to lunch locally on a weekday & what better place to kick back than good ol' Remy's?? Never had a brekkie or burger in the sunny courtyard that wasn't solid.
Today the bacon cheeseburger was luscious - juicy pattie, well sauced, appropriately sized for the price & crafted with care. Crispy hand cut fries even have Remy's casual yet accomplished character & came in a bowl we couldn't quite get to the bottom of. Still not sharing 'em with the cheeky birds though! #makingCinoproud
Remy's continues to keep it real in the hood.
I love remy's! I go here very regularly and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious (really digging the sherpa beans right now), the staff are very friendly and helpful and it's my favourite spot to catch up with friends for a beer and some burgers! 10/10 would recommend to everybody!
Absolutely delicious breakfast. I go everyday and will forever. Seriously, it's that good. Best staff ever, have always made me and my friends very welcome.
I feel spoilt for coffee when visiting other places as nothing else compares.

Top notch breakfast location! Enjoy the sunshine and ambience of Paddington while tucking into a delicious brekkie! I'm a huge fan of the Remos Heuvos with bacon.
Love. Just a good burger (on a GF bun). Great little spot to spend an arvo with a burg and a drink. and that special sauce... Thumbs up! Service is always good, no fuss. Prices are pretty decent. Their seating could be a little better as the bench situation is a little weird and odd, but if you don't mind sharing then it's cool.
These burgers are amazing!!! I'm not really sure what else to say?!
Try the bacon cheeseburger (or the double)! We have eaten here a few times and it never disappoints.
Honestly the best burgers in Brisbane. The patties are always pink in the middle. I love that the fries have the skin left on and the vanilla milkshake tops it off beautifully. Love Remys so much.
Decent burgers and beer. Great place for kids also. It can get very busy so get in early; there are always people here which is a good sign. Take a jumper in winter as you are outside. Will head back for breakfast soon!
Love it here. Staff is great. I enjoy the light breaky and coffee with real dark chocolate sprinkles yum. Love the burgers. Atmosphere is really good and they are great to our kids.

Team, I did it! I just found your next burger. That one that you're curious about trying but are unsure to take the leap... Mao Bao. Say no more. Even I was not too sure to expect, maybe a fully white Chinese-esque bun with pork belly. No, it turned out to be an actual burger! Yes! I may have been a little excited when I saw it in all its deliciousness. As I sit out here and face the setting sun I contemplate on starting my review mid-burger. Only do I do it one and thereafter I keep my two hands securely around the soft, soft bun. Yes, the burger bun (chill out you Nigella fans). It's a deliciously constructed burger with a ever so slightly crisp but succulent pork centre. The pickled get certainly give it an Asian feel and I am so glad I went the staff recommendation of avo! Pop down between 5pm and 6pm to wash it down with a $4 Coors during happy hour! It was just a fantastic way to end my day!
Great burgers!! I have been to Remy's a couple of times and it has always been top notch. It's a cute little joint that doesn't try to bee anything other than a great spot for a burger, beer/wine and people watching. They're also lovers of dogs! What more could you ask for?
I rate the burgers - delicious and I think the best in Brisbane. I like the outside seating area and the constant classic tunes. Being dog friendly is always nice too.
One of the best burgers I've eaten in Brisbane. Simple, unfussy dining with a good beverage selection and a short but legit menu. A++ would eat again.
Great service, wide selection of beer, ale, and cider. Even friendlier staff too.
Cheeseburger and double bacon rule and awesome setting!

A single tear ran down my girlfriends face when we were told that burgers don't start till 12 and it was 11.30. Some times hangry is a real 1st world problem that we all face.
Breaky was pretty good though, 3 pigs had some awesome tiny weiners.
Update (3months later): Good news, we went for dinner and had some burgers. Girlfriend was happy this time. That makes me happy. Burgers made my tummy happy. Moral of the story; burgers solve all problems.
Simple, very "now" and relaxed, Remy's is one of the many "semi casual" dining/beer/cafe places around the inner city.
The menu is simple, the decor is standard "now" decor and the food is pretty good considering it's a carbon copy of most of what's going around Brisbane in the "semi casual" scene. The burger I had was pretty good - certainly didn't blow me away but really solid.
Good friendly service makes this place.....good vibe.
Taste of burger was good. We ordered cheese and vegetarian burger and chips. Chips were quite crispy. But burgers were small, not for volume eaters. The bread of burger was soft.
Overall satisfied.
The Sunday session is something that holds a level of importance to me that I’m almost ashamed to admit. The last few moments of freedom before the work week again crushes my spirit in exactly the way it did the week before. But then like an avalanche of happiness that has slammed into my life and reshaped my Sunday’s forever, there is Remy’s.
THE BURGERS! It’s so refreshing to go to a place that has a goal to just do one thing right and as best they can. The result in my opinion is the best burger in Brisbane (2-4-1 on Sunday’s which is almost unnecessary but completely appreciated). The market right now is flooded with burger joints trying to make the biggest or most inventive creations, but like art sometimes there is beauty in simplicity. The Remy’s cheeseburger is about as classic as they come, to the point that if I was to describe what that perfect cheeseburger moment should be this would be it.
The bacon cheeseburger has a jalapeno mayo that’s enough to make it special and amazing in its own way. The vege burger is (and if you argue this you are wrong) the best vegetarian burger ever. No, ever. Enough I’m not listening LALALALALALALA! The pork belly burger with kimchi and slaw is the most adventurous thing on the menu but is clean and bright enough to be the perfect counterpoint to the rich, sweet, juicy, brioche wrapped, Phenom that is the Remy’s cheeseburger.
Also they have great drink specials, which actually kind of sucks cause I end up drinking a responsible amount of beers but they have SUPER good milkshakes. Beers + 2 burgers + Milkshake = ………………… Well I haven’t actually done it but I’m guessing it might be a little too much happiness.
Staff, venue, food, beers, milkshakes are all great. You are missing out. Unless you don’t like cheeseburgers and then I feel bad for you.
These guys have turned the most unlikely situation into a landmark. Weekend nights get absolutely packed.
Burgers are excellent - my only suggestion would be to automatically add lettuce and tomato (you can charge the $1.50, that's okay, it's just I forget to order it)
Beers are not your usual suspects, and a good variety.
Beers + burgers ..... nothing not to like!
Great selection of drinks. Casual deck. Good for families or friends. Road noise but not too bad. Afternoon sun is excellent. Have a 'moose drool' ale
Situated on Paddington's LaTrobe Terrace, Remy's is in an excellent location that has lots of foot traffic. Remy's has a humble set up and has a relaxed nature. I went on a Sunday afternoon and ordered the Mao Bao burger, which was a pork belly based burger, and side of chips and a coffee. The burger was enjoyable, however lacking a bit of flavour. Remy's chips are fresh and hand cut and are awesome!
Best Cheeseburger in Brisbane! (I've had a few too). Coffee is also great. Some reviewers have complained that it's burnt but that certainly hasn't been my experience over the last couple of months. Really enjoy the laid back atmosphere, good music, friendly staff and delicious food!
Great cafe and bar. One of the best cafes/bars in Paddington. Best coffee in Paddington, delicious for breakfast and fantastic place for a drink with friends in the afternoon. The staff are friendly and efficient and the place has a wonderful welcoming "vibe".
Burgers are ace! Coffee is still burnt. Sunday afternoon lunch turned out to be absolutely fantastic. I was hesitant because of the previous reviews, but oh! the burgers are to die for (I had the vegetarian and my partner had the beef & bacon). Definitely recommend this place! Cute place- nicely set up. On a side note, I did try a cappuccino and yes, it was definitely burnt (food makes up for it though).
Remy's - Paddington, Brisbane. Taking a new beginning from the previous local favourite for breakfast "The Rogue Renard", Remy's chooses instead to be more of a tapas bar serving basic, simple fare ideal to be eaten with the fingers and accompanied by various sorts of spirits, vodka et al. which includes flights. All up, what the team are aiming to do here is probably for the place to be a simple, local area to meet up after work or during break times. They certainly have their image in mind, for character, layout and atmosphere. It is only new at the moment, but the aforementioned trifecta shows early signs of working.
I was meeting my good friend in town, and as usual - since it is hard to find a park inner city - it was a bit of aimless driving to attempt to find somewhere. Going to Paddington as a reliable location, this place ended up being chosen by default. One thing that can be said about Remy's is that it might take the prize as being one of the smallest cafes in town. From a number of visits around this specific section of the suburb, I have noticed it but you certainly look twice to see it is is there. The patio space is shared with the hairdressers next door.
Remy's is located in a refurbished "Queenslander" straight on the corner with one of the road's being Paddington's characteristic steep hills. This makes for some great views getting the tables off to the side (where my friend and I sat). All the dining is al fresco. Service is kept to a small minimum; it is counter service and they do not have any numbers or icons to take to the table. For now this might not be too much of an issue, since they can spot each diner at the moment; eventually, they might have to opt for getting some sort of system to make the delivery easier and smoother for bigger crowds. Still, they have the social aspect
As it was previously mentioned, the food served is simple fare. It is probably the antithesis of pretentious and/or hipster. "Simple Food" is part of their tagline. The menu seems to be on a rotation. At the time I went, it was around lunch time and I was feeling quite hungry. That meant there could only be one item that was getting my attention - the signature burger (no fries, sorry).
Or otherwise known as "Good yum" Cheeseburger. This had a simple option, an upgraded version or the lot option; going for broke, I went for the lot. This was two patties of beef, cheddar cheese, pickles, jalepenos, bacon and mayonnaise on a bun. It was really big that it needed to be done in two lots (as my friend put it, two open-faced sandwiches). The burger was one of the tastiest that I can remember for ages. The beef was well-cooked to a medium-rare consistency and must have been made from a good cut of meat. The bacon on it was very thick, almost like gammon. The cheese was melting to the extent it combined with the mayonnaise, in which the mayonnaise was seeped with the spicy flavour of the jalepenos. Add onto that, the sharp, vinegary bite of the pickle and you have what is the ideal burger: unpretentious, simple ingredients and a good combination. It was not without a drink, and what else but coffee? Remy's uses Coffee Supreme as their roaster. Both times for drinks, I got a double espresso from them. The coffee was well-extracted, and strong with a flavour rich in undertones.
Opting for minimalism, or at least thinking "less is more", Remy's fits into the area by adding another kind of dining experience into the diversity of the suburb. It is a pleasant little place, that has little to nothing that is overtly wrong with it. In recommending it, the place is best for a quick bite to eat or a brief meeting as opposed to a fully-fledged meal. With that in mind, taking into account their vision, it is another worthy entry for the dining scene in Paddington.
10/10 Experience, both culinary and socially. Remy Special Combo with extra bacon was a smash hit. So tasty, delicious and filling. Great price for such a meal. Staff very helpful and very quick service, only 10 minutes to be served and then receive the meal.
Really, really good "smash" burgers here. I stuck with the simple Bacon Cheesy and it was great, jalapeno mayo only a hint of a "zing," but not spicy at all. Mini Me had the kids' cheeseburger and was really substantial. Fries were hot, crisp and well seasoned, fluffy in the middle.
Nice location, parking anywhere on Latrobe Tce is dicey; maybe need to look at some rain enclosures for outdoor area to keep good capacity.
Holy smokes.
I really don't review places but this is one of the local spots my colleagues introduced me to and it's a winner. Every single time.
I had their bacon cheesy beef burger today and I was in literal food heaven.
1,000/10 review.
Ordered the Remy's special beef burger. It was good but not great. Felt it lacked flavour. Chips were awesome though. Great berry flavoured smoothie. Excellent staff.
