So excited to see this food truck in the city. Especially on a Friday. Right place right time. Ordered the bee sting. It ticked off all the boxes. Super crunchy and fresh. Full of flavour. The honey glace is finger licking and their service was so fast. Will be trying the other flavours.
Really good good chicken wings. The pieces we got were full of meat and the flavours were on point. The meat was succulent and easy to tear of the bones. The sweet potato fries though were my favourite. They were big pieces with just the right amount of salt. Definitely the best I’ve tasted ever! Highly recommend this place.
They make the greatest chicken wings I’ve ever had - I will happily chase them around Brisbane whenever I feel like awesome wings. Travelled to the Mt Gravatt Marketta last night just for them. They were delicious as always. Beesting is my favourite flavour for sure - a must try. Thanks KOTW for another great experience ☺️
The. Best. Chicken. Wings. In. Brisbane.
Dead set.
People call me crazy but I have to say these peeps do the best wings. Having been in Sydney for 2.5 years... one of yhe most painful changes in my life is not being able to have King of the Wings.
Service is always great. Just know they are a food truck. Personally, some of the flavours are hit and miss. But food on the most part is always legit.
Never change please and come to Sydney more often! :)
*****
Take note that this is of course all based on my unqualified opinion!
My considerations: 1. Food 2. Value 3. Service 4. Atmosphere
Definitely good wings at a reasonable price. I tried the Southern BBQ and the Chillology which is buffalo style. They complimented each other quite well, I'm just use to more of a zesty flavour in my buffalo wingd.
Delicious :) had a mix selection of wings cooked fresh and with mouth watering sauces and coating. Stand out for was the beestung sauce ( honey and sesame) staff are friendly, reasonable price and quick service, highly recommend, enjoy :)
Was finally able to try these guys at the Eats and Beats event. Longest line and most popular I'd say. What struck me most was the service and how intentionally friendly they were. I was expecting stressed chaotic atmosphere but they were all smiles and friendly: took time to get your name and welcome you if you are a new customer; explain the flavors even though they're like right there to read.
Someone's order got lost and they quickly offered fries as compensation for the wait and quickly have them their order after that.
The wait was pretty long but I expected that...maybe 15 mins? The wings were great, we got Southern Spice and Beesting with side of sweet potato fries.
I would've rated them higher but they got my friends order wrong and forgot to give me the ranch sauce (50c) I asked for with the fries. But with the long line it's understandable. I'm sure if I approached them they would've fixed it but I couldn't be bothered after I had already walked away.
AMAZING wings. Words cannot describe. Only other place that comes close to this is yard bird. Best in Brisbane by far. Chillogy and BBQ are a must.
You'll often see a long queue wherever King of the Wings appear, and there's a good reason for it! These guys are passionate about what they do, and it's reflected in the great service and food. My favourite flavours are the Portuguese crumb and bee sting - a great balance of sweet and savoury. The wings aren't the largest around, but that not only means less cooking/waiting time but also more intensely flavoured wings. Quality over quantity I say - keep up the great work guys!
Had the delight to experience the well known King of the wings food truck, although the location was small and there was only a few tables for a very busy van, the food itself was great, the 'chillogy' wings were a stand out, a very interesting twist on the classic buffalo. Don't forget the side of sweet potato fries for an extra $3 they nearly stole the show!
Hi. My name is Anita and I am a chicken wings addict. And I have to say, out of all the chicken wings I have had, KFC, American wings, wings from nandos, wings from our local Asian restaurant you name it. These wings from King of the Wings are the best wings I have ever had. Hands down.

Wow absolutely one of the best American Style wings I've had, very awesome, never get sick of them. So many varieties to choose from to suit ur taste buds. I rate these guys 9/10
King of the Wings - Brisbane. With not a whole lot of competition yet, most of the food trucks are fairly well known in the area. What helps is that often they move them from market to market. One of these is the King of the Wings. Again, as with some other reviews here, there was the foodie market event the "World Food Markets" where Brisbane residents got to try an array of assortments from many of the food trucks circulating around Brisbane. King of the Wings was here, and this was the one I knew I had to try before leaving. All you need to do is tell me it's American.
This stand was one of the most popular on the night. There was a big line up, when customers took orders they were asked for names for the orders, and in between orders being taken, previous orders were being called out with various people bounding from the side and out of nowhere to come collect their food. It was far less chaotic then it sounds like it could have been. What was really appealing was the constant sound of the deep frier which made it apparent that the product was freshly made.
Like normal, the menu was only a smattering of what is usual on offer on that night. There was the chance to get a six pack - choice of two flavours - or the dozen pack - choice of three flavours. Additionally on the menu was the choice for a side of sweet potato fries, plus the usual market stand variety of drinks on offer. To not look greedy, and with the stomachs starting to get a bit full, it was the half-dozen pack that was ordered.
Getting in line, and it being my shout this time. Playing the diplomat, I asked what variety my dining buddy want - he asked for the "Portuguese Crumb". Take a combination of Portuguese flavours, and combine them into a coating around the wings - this is a dry variety. After the order is cooked and served, the waitress asked if I wanted a serving of blue cheese sauce on top. Most definitely did I say yes. The second order was a saucy one, the Chillogy. They fused three of the hottest chillies known to man, made them into a sauce basting it into their chicken wings.
Both were really tasty, and even so it was hard to make a selection from a mere half-dozen choices (hey, two varieties of wings is extensive where I come from). Both of these proved to be good choices, and different types as well. The Portuguese Crumb was tasty, with a more subdued taste having a slightly tangy note in its aftertaste. My dining buddy had a try and the Chilogy wings and found that it was a bit too much for him. It is relative, as I could feel a bit of the heat however wholly I was managing well and found it really good. That was not without a bit of sweat. As always, I stand back and can't objectively critique it being a fan of spice and a glutton for punishment as such.
Like many other reviewers here, I agree that the wings were a bit small. Had I had the foresight to know, I sure would have ordered the dozen pack. On the plus side, the two of us scored an extra wing in our order so not a whole lot of complaining is coming from here. Consider me now a Wingette. There is a good reason that this is doing really well and is popular. They are simple to make, quick to order, and are diverse in what flavours are possible (one is a combination of chilli and honey - yes please!). For King of the Wings, I give an enthusiastic thumbs up.
This foodie loves the wings. King of the Wings cook up my favourite wings in Brisbane and are by far my fave food truck. I think they are the best because they specialise in wings and so they have the most delicious flavours and extremely juicy and tender chicken. My personal favourite is the chillogy which is their take on a traditional buffalo wing. It has just the right amount of chilli kick without overpowering the yummy taste. They also do two dry rub wings which are amazing paired with their homemade garlic mayo sauce. My only warning is that King of the Wings are extremely moureish - you'll be back again for more!
Brisbane, eat here now. You will not regret. TLDR:
Stop reading and find them now

Ok, I have tried wings at nearly every well spoken places in brisbane.. Sloppies, Smoke BBQ, Outback Steak House, Kitchen Next Door, and a few in the valley.. But none can compare to the Wings you will enjoy here.
This family run food kart has everything I love about making amazing food. They have a passion, they understand it takes time to make great food, the service they give is amazing and so friendly (something that is lacking in brisbane), and above all.. They supply the goods :-)
So many great tasting wings of all variety.. Its hard to choose favorites. Try them when you can, you will not regret :-).
Sensational wing's, they are truly "The Kings". King of Wings is truly a taste sensation with a difference that everyone must try. I will admit I've never been one to eat wing's (I have a weird thing with eating of the bone lol which I have now got over) and my thoughts on mobile food have never been great but this amazing business with its genuine tastes of soul and perfectly cooked wing's changed my mind. The Wings had flavours that left my taste buds tantalized and wanting more. Adding in the down to earth service and friendly atmosphere which had me wanting to invite friends to sit, chill out and eat these amazing Wing's. This truly is a great business idea and executed perfectly with a recipe for wings that we are all left wanting!
They get a bid thumbs up from this New Wingette!
It's so amazing to finally see such tasty soul food in brisbane. I'm definitely head back(or finding a location) or more. Service is always fantastic ;)
They had five different wings for sale, the American BBQ with a hint of bourbon, bee sting with honey, sesame and chilli, the Southern Spice, a dry spice rub with a tasty herb mayo accompaniment, the Portuguese Crumb, a super crunchy coating with Portuguese flavours and the Chilliolog
Wow. Experienced the food truck maybe 6 years ago, 1st time visiting here. Courteous and quick service. We tried almost all wings flavours, they were not to disappoint at all plus the jalapeno bites were off the chain! Served like fried pickles; great side order. Thanks again. Will be back.
Placed a takeaway order online and was ready pretty much exactly when estimated.
The guy that served me was very nice and chill offered me some extra wings and asked what flavour I would like very nice considering I already had a %30 discount from the eatclub app.
It was nice and quite at the venue but I'd prefer to take away all in all great venue yummy wings good prices good staff
Oh. My. God.
Best wings in Brisbane. Probably Australia.
I'm an OG fan and were following the king of wings food truck around back in the day before I went vegetarian. Can confirm, the cauliflower wings are as good as the chicken wings 👌 ...and the loaded fries... and the watermelon salad 🥰 couldn't fault a thing, so glad there's restaurant now!
From the moment we arrived, I could smell the tempting aroma's of the chicken wings and burgers. We were greeted by Gavin, who escorted us to a table and then served by Layla and Mandy. Very friendly staff filled with enthusiasm and good nature, making us welcome and in a great mood. I had the traditional wings with the Chillogy flavour and served with a bowl of Jalapeno bites. Delicious, spicy and tender. 5/5 food and service.
Big fans of the food truck and have always bought wings nearly every week at Kedron for years. They were so good back then.
Don’t know what happened now. First time at the restaurant and it just didn’t taste the same as how it was before. Still good but I prefer the “before”. Even my friend who was a long time KotW fan had the same comment.
PS: whatever happened to Jaritos? I asked for it when I ordered drinks and the staff had no idea what I was talking about 😂
Hey guys we went to King of wings for the first time tonight it was amazing your wings burgers and onion rings delicious but what made the night was your excellent staff the young lady that looked after was amazing super friendly and extremely helpful all the staff we encounted were fantastic. They should all be congratulated on the service. My friends and I will definitely be making king of wings a regular goto thank you
The spicy wings were pretty hot but not overpowering that you can't taste the chicken. Really flavourful stuff with a good kick. The honey wings work great for cooling down after.
