Dined here for a mid-week lunch and the whole experience was fine. Nothing to write home about, food was pretty standard but good value for $10 lunch special. Decent wine by the glass list and very nice staff. My steak was overcooked, not medium as I'd asked but was still tasty. Really good sized portions so very good value. I would return, just don't expect anything amazing.
What a fantastic tavern we had a small function there on Sat night and I cannot stop raving about the customer service of the staff. Patrick, Dana and the rest of the crew you are absolutely wonderful and assist with all the needs requested. Food service was quick and delish. Again a lot of places could learn a thing or two on customer service from you guys.
A family restaurant with an outdoor playground so we were able to eat our meals in peace while the kids played. Outdoor seating so we could sit near the playground. We got 2 meals for $20 -the chefs special of the day -pork ribs with sticky homemade BBQ sauce. Very enjoyable and the kids loved the spaghetti. Very prompt meal delivery and drinks were very reasonably priced. We will return!
Excellent food. We had the salt and pepper squid for starters and then a schnitzel and steak or mains. Steak was perfectly cooked, schnitzel was scrumptious and the chips were crunchy and moorish. This will be our regular pub now, for sure. It runs rings around the Kedron Park hotel (which is now total crap!!).

I stopped in for lunch yesterday with some colleagues and was very impressed with the food. Very tasty, fresh and cooked perfectly. Prices were reasonable and our meals arrived quickly. If I'm ever in the area again I will stop in without hesitation.
Great food deals on Weekdays! 2 for $20, you can't go wrong :) quick service too. And theor drive through has the BEST craft beer selection out.
My cousins and I usually meet up here regularly for a chat lunch and drink.
The meals are great good prices,the staff are all awesome and today especially we were served and looked after by Joanie a lovely young girl with great pr skills and a lovely manner.

Wow... Brilliant Lunch Specials. No wonder it's busy. We had Chicken Burger and Lunch Steak Specials, it was very tasty, cooked to order and the right price, friendly staff and a cold beer.....made my day. We will be back, thanks Stafford Tavern. 🖖
I attended a Biggest Arvo tea in the restaurant yesterday arvo , i found the staff very helpful , food was in plentiful supply and very yummy . It was a perfect arvo , and im sure the Cancer Council will be very please with funds raised , thank you for everything Stafford Tavern and of course Kylie Hancox for organizing this event everything was perfect and would highly recomeed .
