Took a drive to Stafford Heights for a takeaway breakfast. Just wished it could have been a sit down one as we had read the original menu & would have loved to have tried out some of their recommended fare. Alas those days are gone for a time but we will be back Meanwhile we opted for the avocado toast. Simple I know, but quality ingredients prevailed & the taste is what it comes down to after all ! Coffee didn't quite hit the strength mark, but all up not a bad takeaway effort
Food was delish, wine was great, price was reasonable and the owner and other staff were so lovely. This place is still trying to revive itself from the former owners awful work. Do yourself a favour and try it out!
We've had coffee here many times and have always been happy with it. We've dined in for breakfast twice and both times were quite happy with the food and service.
Amazing little local cafe with a great menu and great staff. The owner needs to watch his attitude around customers though. How he speaks to the staff and the loverly blonde lady in those incredible kaftans isn’t professional.
We went there despite the bad rating for an early dinner over the xmas break, food was delish and generous servings. Glad we gave it a go, will be back

We went here expecting The rusty burrow but that has now closed and Verrano is in it's place. Â The service was very good and dishes came out very fast. Â I went with my sister and 2 boys. Â We decided to share our breakfast and order a side of poached eggs and scrambled egg. Â The food was very good and the coffee fantastic. Â They serve elixir coffee and I am already a great lover of elixir coffee. Â Overall a very good experience until I went to pay. Â Our order was as follows;
Eggs Benedict - $17.50
There Verrano Big Breakfast - $25.50
3 x Latte's - $15.50
Side of poached eggs - ???
Side of scrambled eggs - ???
The total bill was $74.50
I was shocked at how high it was so I asked for a receipt. Â I was told that they were not set up for itemised receipts as yet and but one could be hand written. Â I didn't have time to wait for that so didn't bother waiting. Â
So it seems that our side's of eggs were $16 which I think was a bit much. Â The meals are generous so as it turns out I didn't need to order the sides of eggs anyway as we had a lot of left over food. Â Something for future customers to keep in mind that when ordering portion sizes are large.
Excellent value breakfasts and coffee; dog friendly on the front patio and there are heaters for the coldish august morning. A great local business worthy of local support.?
The food was spot on....actually, better than spot on! We had the slow cooked lamb on flatbread, and the pork belly with the crackliest crackle. The staff are friendly and always make you feel welcome 🙂

Absolutely fabulous breakfast today at Verrano. We called up prior to see if they had seating inside with air conditioning as my husband is a unit who hates the heat. Asked if we could come down straight away and they were more than happy to accomodate us. The staff were so attentive and lovely and kept checking to see how our meals were and also to update us on how far away the food was. The chef appears to be on his own in the kitchen and he was worried we had to wait so he asked the staff to send out a free drink on the house which we were not expecting (and we really weren’t waiting long, after a busy week for us both we were happy for the time to actually get the chance to sit down and chat with each other!). The food was sensational, best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had (and I have scrambled eggs everywhere we try) they were beyond fluffy and I need to know his secret! 🤣❤️ The freshly squeezed orange juice is a must to try. My husbands poached eggs were also perfection, massive compliments to the chef!
Went out of their way to make sure a member of out party with food allergies had a safe dining experience on a very busy night . Plus they have the best coffee in Brisbane!
The team were super helpful and got all of the order correct. Event went out of their way to cook a custom meal for one of our group, that due to surgery couldn't eat off the standard menu.
Excellent coffee and food, all from a team with a friendly vibe. All around it was a good way to start our day.
