Review Viet Street Eat - Brisbane

Brock Alexander
Popular vibrant pho restaurant! Check out the lunch and dinner menu in my pictures on this review. The menu is quite extensive and the quality of food here is high. The restaurant is nicely positioned, tucked away on the quiet end of Brighton Road. Large amount of indoor seating only and value for money here is above local standard. Would recommend but there are better places in the 4017 area for food and it is unfortunate this restaurant does not have a liquor license.

Great little local restaurant with good selection of authentic dishes. We had the Pho and Yellow omelette and all were amazing. Lots of seating area inside and comfortable air conditioning. Highly recommended to try and we will definitely be back.

Food was tasted as though it had been reheated or had been cooked but then left to the side while the remaining meals were prepared. Disappointing as this use to be our familes go to Vietnamese restraunt 12 months ago

What a lovely place. My wife and I love a good banh mi. And somehow this was the most delicious crispy pork belly banh mi I think I've ever had. Add that to great prices, a nice atmosphere, super nice staff, and very quick service and you've got the perfect combination for a delicious cruisey lunch or laid back dinner. What a treat.

Very Good size portions. Reasonable pricing and friendly staff.

Poor table setting - Spoons + napkins in a filthy plastic basket Plastic red & blue chairs - not ideal to sit and dine in with family. No Vietnamese sauces placed on the table Very small portion in noodles - noodles overcooked so all broken into pieces Overall, no authentic Vietnamese flavour at all. I cannot see any typical features of Vietnamese restaurants here. Are the owners really Vietnamese? If you want a real good Vietnamese food, go to Sunny Bank.

All the dishes I've tried have been delicious and healthy. Also the pricing is fair& competitive. I recommend you try the Pork belly salad with rice noodles, one of my favorites. Thanks Jen & Viet St Eat!!

Good food but very inconsistent with opening days and hours

I feel like this place is almost there, produce was really fresh but the flavour balance is off. My duck soup was lacking seasoning. The slider was delicious but I had to add siracha to it as it was a but dry. Only half way there unfortunately. I wanted to love this place so much!

Over priced. A bit to contemporary for me, I prefer authentic traditional Vietnamese food. Street food isn’t meant to be expensive. A quick drive to Banyo is a better option

I love this place. The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. You can’t beat their lunch specials for a good feed and their vegetarian options are wonderful and never lacking for flavour. My partner and I have tried most things on the menu since we keep coming back time and again.

For lunch, their Banh mi or rice paper roll lunch special is my favourite. It’s so generous that I always share with a friend, but be warned that they do sell out of these some days (it’s VERY popular) so get in early!

For dinner, you can’t beat their rice noodle salads or pho. Generous portions, great prices and the freshest ingredients. Totally recommend!!!

Great Vietnamese place with a modern funky vibe. Although not all favourites are offered on the menu they met our request for spring rolls wrapped in lettuce and herbs and we also enjoyed delicious pho and a very tasty Massoman curry. The service was very friendly and it’s well priced. Highly recommend for a fun casual meal out.

We love this place. It smells like Chinese Five Spice. Service is friendly and there are two dishes we can’t go past: Bahn mi for lunch and Chicken Pho for dinner. Both are delicious! Very fresh and authentic.

My go-to Asian street food palace on the Northside. This cute little Vietnamese restaurant even accommodates for gluten free, dairy free, vegan, and more!
Bahn-mi x2 for $10 are really tasty and authentic. Really great service too.
