Are you a burger fanatic? I do not consider myself as one but would want to enjoy a good decent burger. I have tried some of the restaurants in the Kelvin Grove village and yet to try the Burger Urge there. As part of the lunch specials, we ordered the 'Boston Cheese' and 'Pineapple Express' burgers that came with sides of small chips and a soft drink. Mr opted for the healthy drink which is plain water while I had lemonade. Shortly after our meals arrived and they looked tasty.
Customer service is always exceptional here - the guys always go out of their way to make you feel welcome and they are passionate about their restaurant. Burgers are lovely and the restaurant is always clean. Nice chips with skins still on, although they get a bit cold if you're sitting outside as they are served in wire baskets. I can't speak highly enough about the passionate service from these guys - they make you feel very welcome.
Service awesome, food amazing, drinks great. So so good. Would recommend, definitely gives Burger Fuel a run for its money. The Kelvin Grove chain is especially good.
Ordered it over UberEATS, so didn't get to see the customer service, however I ordered the magic mushroom burger with the chips and peach iced tea, was soo good!
Great burger urge standard : tasty and fresh however this visit achieved 5 * rating because of the outstanding, friendly and efficient service we received! This guy needs a pay rise!
Good food and atmosphere. Come down for a casual beer or a big feed they have got you covered. Personal favourites Mrs Clinton and the New Yorker double meat 👍🏽
Good service and nice staff. Staff call everyone big brother and big sister. Burgers are amazing with nice chips. New Yorker is a great burger with juicy beef and BBQ sauce
As a recent local this has quickly become our favourite burger joint. We use to travel a fair distance to our previous burger place of choice and now we have found Burger Urge right on our new doorstep. Staff are very friendly and really understand the meaning of customer service. Every burger we have had has been brilliant. My recommendation is the Babe & Daisy. Travel the distance and try this place out.
Had the New Yorker and fries and was very impressed. The staff was great and the food amazing! Overall would have to give a 10 out of 10! Yum!
Great burgers and chips. Love that they serve alcohol even in the mornings. (for stressful uni students like me). Not the "best" burgers, but the service there is amazing. Food and service is consistent every time. There's always good lunch specials. And it's very convenient since it's close to the QUT KG campus.
Love the boys at Burger Urge! They're all so lovely and always know what I'm after. My favourite is the Hawaii 5-0 and the Blue Vein. Omg. So good. Their chips are literally the best. With wasabi line Mayo! 😌
A great range of burger and sides with alcohol available. The beef patties were over cooked and small compared to the bun size. The flavor combinations are heading in the right direction, but the sauce qty needs to reduce so the cheese and protein can shine

Very good service. The food was of a high quality but the staff were AMAZING. i haven't had service like that in a long time. It was nice to see customer service of this standerd again :)
I need to go back.. So about 2 weeks ago, it was my birthday. I had an excellent day, and to top it off, I had an incredible night. What happened that night? I finally visited Burger Urge.
For about 2 weeks leading up to that fateful night, I had been walking past friendly Urge employees who handed out free chip vouchers. They slowly accumulated, as did friends saying I should go, until I finally gave in. And boy oh boy am I glad I gave in! Met by the funniest and friendliest managers I've ever met, I went ahead and ordered a delicious burger, (free fries) and a beer. What a meal. It was the party my birthday was missing. Shared with good friends and Kelvin Grove Urge's incredible manager, it was a great night I've been dying to have again.
Let me tell you I won't be waiting for my birthday next year, there are many visits to be had between then!
What a beautiful, beautiful example of excellent food. The food here is just so good, sometimes it's all that gets me through a long uni day. It's as if God himself leaned down from the heavens and said yes, this is where I will place the perfect burgers and chips. There's a lovely man that works here, unfortunately I don't know his name, but he will make your day every time you're there. Just be warned that if you have a little tummy like me you'll get a huge food baby if you try to eat more than a burger.

I Just Can't Resist The Urge.... I'm a burger addict. For the past three years, I've been touring the burger restaurants of South East Queensland, tasting the finest they can dish up. But, let me tell you how it all began...
Three years ago, on a cold windy night, I stumbled down into Kelvin Grove, my stomach rumbling like a stampede of a thousand elephants. As I walked down Carraway St, a new fixture caught my eye - an upside down sign. "Burger Urge", it read. Intrigued, I entered to be greeted by two young men, twins with smiles ear to ear. They led me to the menu and an array of choices I had never seen before greeted me. Beef, chicken, lamb, and even vegetarian burgers...what on earth was this? I was confounded, having never experienced more than the average McDonalds fare, and now faced with an impossible array of choices. Stupefied, I asked for their recommendation.
The next thing I knew, I was sitting at a table facing an interesting new culinary beast - a gourmet burger called the "ABC", with a side of delicious chips. Avocado, bacon, chicken...what an incredible combination! Curious, I took a bite. The flavour explosion that greeted me was to my tongue like a choir of angels to my ears. It was truly Heaven...an incredible taste sensation. I got hooked that day and never looked back.
Weekly, I returned, the owners of this restaurant greeting me warmly each time and serving me with such incredible care that I felt like I was a fine diner at the Ritz. I would recommend Burger Urge to anybody. Their unique burgers, and regular specials, are truly to die for, each one I order is crafted expertly and comes with an order of the most delicious and crispy chips I've ever seen. I would heartily recommend the ABC (still my favourite after all these years!), the Hawaii Six-O, and the New Yorker. Go to Burger Urge. You'll never regret it.
Best service i've had in a long time. Very friendly. Had the New yorker burger and Arabian wrap. Both are big enough without the chips but the chips are awesome. Best burger and wrap we've ever had. Defs recommend
Best Service and food is consistently great!. I frequent Burger Urge Kelvin Grove and wouldn't go to any other! The service is always good, always greeted with a smile and staff remember your name and orders.
Not once have I had an order go wrong or have had to wait longer than 5-10mins for my order to arrive.
Staff always allow me to modify my order slightly!

Burger Urge Kelvin Grove- What a wonderful place to be. What can i say about this place. There is so much to say about how much of a wonderful environment it is to come in there and be welcomed by the brothers who own the restaurant there. They have a passion and an enjoyment in what they do that i have never seen before in retail or hospitality.
The food of course is amazing. Buffalo wings, New York burgers, onion rings, lamb, chicken and salads. The variety is just fantastic and it's the only place at the Kelvin Grove Urban Village that i would continuously visit regularly and be left with a smile on my face.
Thank you Burger Urge Kelvin Grove for making my time there enjoyable every single time.

More Than Just a Burger Joint - A Short Story by Andrew Stevenson. I remember my first time entering the heaven sent gates of Burger Urge Kelvin Grove. I went to the counter and was happily greeted by the 2 greatest men i've ever met. Rish and Chris. They welcome me into their haven and beautifully articulate the words: 'whatsup bro what can I get you tonight for them gainz brah'. Ever since those words of utter kindness and respect entered the room, I knew an amazing connection had been created. I stood in awe. I nervously muttered 'a a a a new yorker please'. BUT WAIT! Not only that. As I was a student at the nearby school 'Queensland Academy for Creative Industries' or QACI, Chris told me these beautiful words 'and free chips for you tonight too bro'. I was in shock, how was this possible? How was it possible that there were 2 men standing in front of me that were so perfect it was beyond belief. I nervously nodded my head and stuttered 'um yes please'. I couldn't believe it. I silently stood with my knees trembling as Chris asked me 'and any drinks tonight bro?'. I paused for a moment, then without caution I stuttered 'just a pepsi thanks'. As Chris moved towards the fridge to grab me my ice cold beverage, I had a moment to think, am i in a dream? 'SNAP OUT OF IT ANDREW HE'S TURNING AROUND' is what I thought as Chris' beautifully god sculptured body turned towards me. He handed me my drink and named my total. I was in so much awe that I can't recall the price but I do remember it being extremely cheap. I couldn't believe it, a burger, FREE chips and an ice cold beverage for that cheap? I stuttered as I reached for my wallet. I pull it out of my back pocket and get my money out. Oh no, it can't be. I am a dollar off! I must've left my money at home! What do I do? THINK ANDREW THINK! But then something amazing happened. As the atrophying tear was wiped from my glistening eyelid I heard a calm voice. It was Chris! I listened as he said 'don't worry about it bro, take it'. No. This can't be real life I thought, as I made my way to the most comfortable seat I have ever had the honor of placing my clenched butt cheeks upon. I sat there in awe and before you know it a heaven sent voice appears from the distance. IT WAS RISH! 'New Yorker for you bro'. It hit me. Chris and Rish were the 'bro's' I had been looking for since the beginning of my existence. I had found them. As I took a giant bite into my burger, I felt the juicy meat colapse around my tongue. I had never experienced such satisfaction, beauty and happiness. But it didn't end there. No no. The chips OHH THE CHIPS! The perfect crunch and seasoning made them the perfect side for the perfect burger. Not to mention they were served in the cutest little metal basket. I kid you not, each and every visit I made to this heaven sent restaurant has been as amazing as the last. Every time that I have the honor of walking past heavens gates, I will wave to my bros, Chris and Rish and I'll hear the famous words 'whats goin on bro!'.
10/10, best restaurant a man could step foot in.
Spectacular Service & Wonderful Food!. The guys working here put 150% into every meal, they'll check up on you to see if everything is perfect and they always have the place super clean, in my opinion the best burger urge in Brisbane (I'll go out of my way to come here!).

Had the el diablo burger, meat patty was juicy and the sauce has some decent spice to it. Chips where good, nice and crunchy with some fantastic seasoning on it. Only issue is I ordered the special dipping sauce and it didn't arrive. I was starving and didn't realise till I was almost done.
The price was fairly expensive for what it was and the size of the burger 🍔 wasn't massive.
Would return but ensure that I get to try the special secret sauce.

Fun and friendly staff and a comfortable setting inside or out. The menu is mainly burgers but they do have a couple of salads and a good selection of sides. I personally find the milk buns don't cope with all the delicious fillings (maybe next time I should ask for it deconstructed) so prefer the salads but they only have 2 to choose from. Oh well my hubby loves it so what am i gonna do? Love the onion rings!
Amazing crew....the service was excellent..made me feel welcoming and they were checking on me if I was alright after eating nuclear level Double decker Deathwish. Happy that I've smashed this..only 1 other person has completed in this store. 2 thumbs up!!
I just had sweet potato chips but others in my group had original burger and the Elvis one. Everyone really liked their choices. Staff was a friendly. Will go back.

The staff were lovely, and very helpful to some of our group, taking the time to explain accepted forms of covid vax proof. The food was lovely, but I would have loved a slightly larger serve of the fried cauliflower for the price.
