Wow! It is nearly four years since my first review so re-visited it this morning. Ambience is still good and relaxing. Service in even better than before with the very friendly attitude from the barista that definitely guarantees the business. Coffee is hot (barista purposely prepared for the cold morning) and strong. It shapes the enjoyable moment of sitting at the al fresco area and slowly taste my coffee. ENJOY!

Loved the coffee atmosphere of this cafe. While the two handsome baristas were doing the coffee orders, my gaze was moving around this renowned coffee shop. Everyone showed their patience waiting for their desired coffees. They were so relaxing and the atmosphere was so peaceful. Although their own blended coffee bean did not attract me that much, there was no need to worry about that because I was indulging in its specific coffee culture.
Excellent customer service and great coffee! Very warm and friendly staff and the new outfit creates a lovely atmosphere. Look forward to heading back!
Fabulous atmosphere in this little cafe which is always buzzing from early in the morning. It has good coffee, super friendly staff and tasty breakfast and treat options. Love it:)
An unexpected visit - I was actually on my way seeking another cafe, in which I couldn't find. Considering I only had a short amount of time, I just entered any cafe I saw.
A quick glance at there artistic menu and I went with their Bacon&Egg Bagel w/ BBQ sauce. There Beverage Menu was no where to be found, but seeing there was a coffee machine running non-stop next to the counter, I was convinced espressos were available to order - Just a flat white please! :)
The coffee arrived first - a nice brew, if it was a bit hotter it'd be even better :) I liked the little gingerbread man they placed on the side! My bagel came shortly afterwards and it was just what I needed to begin my morning. The Bagel was soft, Bacon&Eggs were smoking, a layer of melted cheese and the BBQ sauce gave it some additional flavours. Simple yet satisfying.

I have made this place my second home all week, incorporating it into my morning routine. With cheap eats ($4.50 vegemite on toast) and great coffee why would you make it a part of your day! Thanks so much for a great week and many more to come!
Coffee was good. I had a latte and my husband had an iced coffee. They arrived promptly and my latte had a cute ginger bread man on the saucer - a nice touch. Breakfast items are very very simple. I had avocado on toast and my husband had raisin toast. They were okay. I think this is more of a coffee place than a breakfast place. We even bought some of their beans to take home. We would return for coffee but not for breakfast.
A nice little spot in the heart of Paddington to enjoy a nice full bodied coffee and friendly service. The coffee also included a cute little ginger bread man - what a treat!

Stands Out Amongst The Crowd. There are a lot of cafe options in Paddington. Tall Short stands out as one of the absolute best for coffee. It has become our go-to place amongst a plethora of offerings... and as long time Paddington locals lord knows we've tried 'em all. Self-confessed coffee snob, so quality is paramount. Coffee grind is always fresh, well made, great strength, good crema, smooth textured milk and temperature just right. Top it off with a wee gingerbread person (thank you Tall Short for adding a little extra detail like this) and your mornings just got a whole lot better!

Diana. Found this little cafe by chance on a wrong turn we made & ended up at Paddington. Lucky for us as we were all in a need for a coffee hit that day & Tall Short hit the spot. Lovely smooth, full bodied brew.
New digs. Went in last weekend and remembered how much I love their coffee. The new location is great too! And it catches the winter sun in the morning.
The coffee is smooth but doesn't lack the body and intensity I require in a coffee I deem to be "good". It must be noted what one looks for in a "good" coffee, as I recently discovered whilst chatting to a Brisbane coffee blogger. He didn't go gaga for the same cafe as I did, and I said, "ah, yes but what are you looking for in a coffee?". Although we agreed that the texture of the milk is paramount (we like it velvety) he doesn't like a brash in your face coffee flavour, he likes it mild and forgive me, somewhat weak. So real
I usually get an extra shot in a latte (which is usually 2 shot) because the coffee isn't ever strong enough for me. No need for the extra shot, the coffee is very good and very strong. Great place. Nice staff too.
Great coffee, food and cocktails. Highly recommend if you're looking for top quality beans or chai for home, plus there's usually a cute doggo or two around.
Great coffee, really enjoy the cold brew and ice latte served here. It’s only small and has limited food, the owners are super nice and always have a great brew, drop in and say hello and support local.

No.3 is our second home. Best coffee in Paddington with the bonus being the cutest spot to have a couple of cocktails with live music on the weekends.
We held a small function here after work on Friday and it was the perfect venue. Amanda and the team could not have been more accommodating. The food and drink service in general was excellent and the team was very friendly with all attendees.
