suburban Gem! love this restaurant!small menu full of amazing food. the staff are really friendly and fun. the atmposhere and feel is great, feels quaint and homely
Lovely little neighbourhood restaurant. Cozy decor, delicious pizza and pasta options. Friendly, quick service. Would definitely come back!
Simple menu but everything is done superbly, I really recommend the specials. Excellent wine list, great atmosphere and cool but super friendly staff. My favourite Italian - I’d drive across town to go here
Nice little neighbourhood place, which is always a plus in my books. Pizzas were tasty with a pretty good crust, but it could have been fermented a little longer as I like a good chew. We kind of felt a little out of place as my girlfriend doesn't have bangs and my pants went all the way to my shoes, but the service was very nice all the same. They had a nice little wine list which is another tick for me.
Lovely food absolutely loved visiting this restaurant several times whilst I was visiting Family locally vibe is great.
The staff is on the ball completely the entire time.
Highly recommend the mushroom pizza.
Great job guys.
Tried the pizza here, was ready for pick up within 20mins. Got the mushroom pizza which was really good but could have used a bit more cheese, prosciutto pizza was yum! Bases are nice and thin. I’d try it again. Seemed very loud inside when we were picking it up.
I’ve been here a couple of times so I’m gonna rate my overall Experience .
I’ve had the mussels pasta , carbonara , sausage pizza , Duck Ragu , fried chicken from the entrees and a few others I can’t remember . ( sorry I can’t remember the exact dish names) all were quiet nice but the duck was too salty for me . Servings are good sizes and you can really taste that hand made pasta.
Enjoyed the atmosphere and how the employees create a smooth vibe with the tracks playing in the background . Also cool to see the chefs making fresh pasta and pizza dough .
Worth a visit if your in the area
Keep up the good work guys !!
I’ve been here three times now all with different groups of friends and each visit has been delightful. The food, drink, ambiance and service are always incredible and I’m definitely on my way to becoming a regular!
Excellent service. Food was fantastic. The pizza bases were homemade, light and airy and delicious. The atmosphere was also really nice. Also had the chicken wings for entry which were full of flavour
Loved this restaurant, the food and service was amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed the carbonara and the pizza was amazing. Would recommend, make sure you book to secure a table.
Went and checked out this small little place on, of course, you guessed it, Martha Street (Camp Hill). Well-conceived venue with a short order menu to match the sheer size and quantity of seating. Great share plates, pizzas and beverage offerings. Service was excellent, if not a little forced at times. Very busy for a Wednesday night!
I'm a fussy ex-Melbourne foodie and the food at Martha Street Kitchen is seriously good. It was so fresh, hand made, great menu, good variety. Really loved it. It was also great for kids and we took our young toddler. My only issue was the service. It wasn't bad. It was just the two ladies that run it were just not overly friendly or helpful. I know this won't bother many but for me it just adds to the ambience and fun when you have people running the place that are warm and make you feel welcome. I just didn't walk out thinking 'oh, that was such a fantastic night'. It was more like 'yeah the food was delicious so I'll go back for the food'. The decor is very 'cool' but the timber bench is uncomfortable. They do have cushions (not that I was offered one). I think it's just abit stark. If you are reading this perhaps just a piece of bright art work (check out 'crate expectations' and their range of art work - slim arrons picture or a Christine Minter.) The place just needs some warmth. However, we will definitely be back for the food!
Best meatballs around. Other highlights were the sausage pasta and the gnocchi (it had beautiful flavours). The ragu was a little bland though. Service was pretty slow but the food was great!
My husband and I loved our dinner there the other night. The gnocchi was amazing with such beautiful flavours and my husband had the carbonara and it also was top shelf stuff. We should have shared the sundae as it was so delicious but filling! We have had takeaway pizza several times as well and was spot on!
Been here a few times. Great casual dining with a great mix of delicious pastas and pizzas. Sides are very tasty.
Breakfast is also a must on a Saturday or Sunday with a fantastic options of well crafted breakfast options.
Fantastic food and fantastic service every time we have been.
Stand out dishes - gnocchi, meatballs and the garlic bread. Beautiful 'simple' dishes that have amazing flavour and substance. Good wine menu too.
Service is attentive and fun. Great fit out. An absolute favourite!!!
Have to say this little Gem is amazing. I have been here twice now. One time breakfast when they first opened had the most amazing breakfast pizza. Second time we went here for dinner and it was off the charts good. We shared meatballs, fries, garlic bread and olives for entree then we had couple pizzas and gnocchi. It was such an amazing experience for the 4of us. William was a great waiter and the manager Jennie was so attentive to us. I can't stress this enough you have to go here it's so so so good.
Martha St has a new gem!!
Clean lines and a really great ambience...Sunday breakfast was fantastic!! Although it was only a 'soft opening' this weekend, it is obvious talking to Jen and Patrick that this place is destined for success👍 The food was delicious without being pretentious...packed with plenty of flavour and beautifully presented....really looking forward to experiencing the environment after dark and sampling the Italian menu🍷🍕 Martha St has gained another star!!
Enjoyed the meal, food was good quality not heavy on the stomach, waiter and waitress polite .
Decor was warm and inviting,
Since being introduced to Pat's cooking, I am yet to find another cafe or restaurant -- let alone individual chef -- who makes food of such a consistently high quality. After every meal I've eaten that was prepared by Pat, I've proclaimed: "That was the best breakfast/lunch/dinner I've ever eaten!"
I've since followed Pat wherever his career has taken him, delighting in the opportunity to taste his spin on each hosting kitchen's trademark cuisine. Needless to say he never failed to impress me.
When I heard he was starting his own venture, I couldn't be more excited. I consider it the mark of a quality chef when they're able to demonstrate their abilities with the simplest meals; while you may think there's little room for creativity with breakfast foods, pizza, and pasta, Pat -- and Martha St as a whole -- will be more than happy to prove you wrong.
The service team at Martha St complement Pat's remarkable skills by providing a pleasant, hassle-free dining experience. They've crafted a unique ambiance that is accommodating for a romantic meal, a family get-together, casual drinks, or simply enjoying great food.
If you haven't been to Martha St, or anywhere that Pat has been in the kitchen, you're doing yourself a disservice. The easiest 5 stars I've ever given.
Friendly service, nice relaxed atmosphere good drink selection and not your average suburbian menu. Reasonably priced. Food was fresh, fresh, fresh! Great produce. Will be back.
Really good pizzas! The whole place have a great atmosphere too. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Will be back to try the pastas!
Love this little gem of a restaurant. The food is superb, service is awesome and its just a great place to dine. Would definitely recommend trying it out if you haven't already, I have gone there quite a few times and it hasn't disappointed me. Definitely book for dinner. The gnocchi and carbonara is soooooo good, the best I've eaten in Brisbane to date.
Very loud sitting inside with the door closed. People tend to talk loudly for some reason considering it is a small restaurant. The pizza was alright but the the ragu pappardelle was amazing.
Great little restaurant, we enjoyed all three dishes that we shared. We had the Panzanella Salad, Lamb Shoulder Ragu and the Garlic Prawn Pizza. The ragu and salad we're outstanding.
This is a tasty pizza joint! Thin and crispy. I don't usually go for a seafood pizza, but that was the best one by far (we ordered five kinds). Unanimous vote at our table for the seafood pizza - so good.
