Had lunch there yesterday and I consider myself a bit of a hamburger expert (due to eating lots of, not making) and I ordered the NZ Angus burger and would have to say its probably the best hamburger I've ever had. Service was great and friendly and I'll be back for sure. P.S...have never posted a review before but the burger was so good!!!!
Very enjoyable breakfast, had the big breakfast and an omelette. Coffee was well made and smoothie tasty. Reasonably priced, considering the generous portion sizes.
Fabulous Cafe. Had breakfast here today and it was fabulous. Friendly efficient service and delicious food that comprised of good quality, fresh ingredients. Asked for our coffees to be delivered with our meals and this was spot on. A truly delightful cafe.

Wonderful on all counts. Went there for Father's Day breakfast. Loved the atmosphere, seating, service, food, everything, even the location. The desserts looked amazing, really handmade, although we didn't have any. Coffee was excellent. Food was excellent, although the scrambled eggs could do with a bit of moisture. Good variety in the menu between more standard fare for when you want that, and more adventurous or unique. Husband had Welsh Rarebit which he liked very much - whatever my daughter wasn't scoffing off him! In my order, they certainly didn't skimp on the smoked salmon. Very friendly and efficient service, making you feel right at home. All reasonably priced. The only suggestion I'd make is please get somewhat bigger tables!
Great service as always and the good was wonderful and reasonably priced as well. Very happy
Great cafe, great service, great food. Had breakfast here on Sunday, ordered coffee, bacon eggs benedict and pancakes with bacon, berries and maple syrup. Owner (I presume) was a great friendly man and was polite and funny and friendsly, coffee and food was fantastic! in fact the eggs benedict is the best I have had in a very very long time. The blankets are great for those chilly mornings (for QLD'ers and a particular wimpy kiwi) and the decoration is fantastic! will definitely be back.
Great breakfast. Loved our first visit to this cafe for breakfast this morning. A1 all round. Nice ambience, very pleasant efficient staff from the man taking orders (owner?) to the young ladies delivering to tables. Meals arrived quickly and the food was well presented and delicious. Wish you were closer to where we live on the bayside as you would see us more regularly.
I love this place! I come every week and the staff are always so friendly and the food is contestant good. Noting Hill and mango smoothie is the best.
Breakfast. Had a lovely breakfast this morning. The food was yum, as was the coffee and very helpful friendly staff. Had scrambled eggs, which were tasty and fluffy. Will go back. Very tempting too with all the deserts. Will go back for one of those soon.
This is my favourite place in Rosalie! The food is amazing, the coffee great and service outstanding. And then there is the decor... Wow! Highly recommend the ice late and honey pumpkin with ricotta on toast. Can't wait to go back for brekky. Too good.
Lovely home made sweets. So many nice options it was hard to decide! I went with the flourless chocolate cake which was delicious!
More praise for this little gem. I can only find positive reviews about this place and I'm about to add another. Great coffee, food and child free zone, fabulously friendly service, quirky decor, love it, love it, love it. A definite return venue.
Had breakfast here, reasonably prices and tastes great, good coffee and owners made a real effort to get to know us which was really nice. Will go back
Had a lovely afternoon tea here. The lovely gentleman serving couldn't have been more accommodating. Will definitely be back!
New favorite!. Lovely decor and atmosphere along with great coffee and food! Already planning on returning to experience breakfast!
I came here with a group of ladies and loved it! I love the interior and did feel like I was in fact in a London coffee shop! I ordered the bacon and egg roll and it came out promptly and was delicious. I will definitely be back I just wish I lived closer. I also found the prices really reasonable and loved the friendly service the owner was nice and was willing to have a chat.
Amazing. This place is amazing and it makes me upset to see some negative reviews. to the reviewer who said the decor was bland and boring.... its actually beautiful and everything looks like its been hand picked from a vintage store. Iro might have been well decorated but that didn't stop them from going under from lack of customers.
Ive been living in Rosalie for years and I have no problem with the first class/second class issue. Its just to give the place a bit of personality and I've had bad experiences when I've gone to places like single inn and watched a mother let her 2 year old smear chocolate cup cake all over the upholstery and then left without saying a word- a lovely surprise for the staff of the next customer who decides to sit down.
get over it, go sit on the super comfy leather chairs outside in the sunshine where you can drink your coffee and people watch.
The muffins are the best and I like that they use free range eggs and real butter. Im a huge T2 fan so its great they use all of their teas. I cant wait for it to get a bit cooler to enjoy their amazing chai tea.
oh and this place is also dog friendly! Last time I visited with a friends dog they offered a little puppy chino (scoop of ice cream) it was so cute!
Very friendly staff and great coffee! Will definitely be coming back to try the home made muffins!
I'd been wanting to try this cafe and finally did yesterday.
It's themed well, leveraging the idea of an English tube station without going over the top.
It's open and bright.
Service is friendly: the owner and his team are keen to ensure you enjoy your meal and everything about your visit.
It's a cafe menu supported with freshly baked goodies- including GF options.
Great coffee too!
Well satisfied. Went for breakfast with friends. Sat in comfy chairs in child free zone. I totally approve a fabric chair on which there has been no child slobber or sticky fingers. Food was fresh and tasty. I am not so keen on the order at counter thing but the service was friendly and fast. We will be back.
A Nice place with a different sense of charm. I like this place, while it may not be everyone's cup of tea ( pun intended) its just this that makes it worth while.
The coffee is great and not mainstream, the staff while not perfect or 5 star, they get the job done with making great coffee, smile and welcoming
Diana. What an adorable setting Paddington Station is, from the exquisit chandalier to the cute table numbers. The interior is filled with all kinds of bric a brac featuring an imposing Victorian style mirror & old carriage clocks, even the menus remind one of an old English railway station! We enjoyed two flavoursome flat whites, well extracted, didn't have enough time to try the Welsh Rabit featured, but will definately be back for that.
Always Excellent. I am a local and only have good things to say about this place. The food is fresh has been excellent every time. The staff are efficient and very friendly which is a refreshing change from some of the other Rosalie Cafes. Ignore the previous negative reviews made by the 'self important' mothers. The area in question is only 4 seats out of the whole cafe in a tiny little alcove !!! The sign says 'No Children please due to the upholstry' which is totally understandable...most reasonable people would agree. I cant believe someone would go on about it so much, there are far more serious problems in the world. The Chicken and Leek Pie is wonderful and the muffins home made fresh every day. I recommend it to everyone.
Great service, location, coffee and food. Will be back for sure.
I don't normally comment on eqpirience but paddington station was an amazing place to go for lunch I am gluten free and the options are great as I haven't had a butterfly cake in years! The scottish gentleman who served me lit up my day I felt very welcome and can't wait to return with some friends. The atmosphere is beautiful too I enjoyed been send back to the 30s with its railway design very beautiful and a nice change from tacky chains. Good work to the owners, great addition to Rosalie!
A Slice of England... I visited the Paddington station coffee house with my friends one morning for breakfast. I can say that I was absolutely astounded. Firstly the decor is perfectly themed for the cafe, I felt like I had walked into a little slice of England (Without the cold!). The cafe has a very nice, quaint feel about it. After taking a seat and being greeted in one of the most warmest ways I have ever experienced at any cafe I was offered a menu. Decisions, decisions! Everything sounded absolutely ravishing! I finally came to a decision to stick to a traditional breakfast meal and go for French toast. I couldn't have been more impressed with the way the food was presented, how it tasted, and mostly the value for money! After my first experience I've been back a bunch of times. I'm not a big coffee drinker, but for those of you with little ones, or who also don't drink coffee the milkshakes are of the highest standard. The homemade scones live up to everything they're said to be - beautiful! The turkish rolls are first-class, to compliment the service. I couldn't recommend this place more. If you have the time, it's a must! I live on the far north of Brisbane too, it's worth the trip!
Response to 2nd class mums. I found this comment very sad and I was very affected by this conversation. Paddington Station was designed to bring something beautiful and different to Rosalie, in doing so we created an area of 4 chairs which are of a superior fabric and not designed for children in a shop that seats 50 and there is absolutely no doubt that children are messy and this cannot be controlled.. This lady was asked in the kindest nicest possible way to sit with her group in an adjacent set of red leather chairs. The question of second class did not arise and this was only perceived by this customer. The area in which she chose to sit clearly states it is child free and to follow the railway theme of this coffee shop we call it our first class carriage. This was for a fun experience for theoretical passengers in our shop. Sadly what this customer has emphasised is that all coffee shops must be generic in nature in order to satisfy the needs of only one aspect of our customer base, which is mothers with babies. What happened to the elderly who loved nothing but to be spoiled and pampered in a private area of sumptuous chairs, or the business men who want a quiet meeting. As mentioned we absolutely value all our customers equally and provide the best possible service to everyone. So far since we have opened everyone has been thrilled with the uniqueness of the child free area. Again only 4 chairs out of 50. I am deeply sorry that this customer felt that she was viewed as second class. The whole shop is fit out in a first class standard. I hope that one day this customer may choose to return.
Great place!. Went for breakfast and tried the welsh rarebit, very tasty and love the homestyle of all the foods. The coffee is nice too!
Lovely!. Saw this place on Must Do Bne and had to try. The best muffins I've had in a cafe & great coffee. Will be back to try their wicked desserts! And a refreshing change from stencil art - very chic.
Fantastic. Just ate lunch there and thought the food was wonderful, homemade, very well priced and large servings. Lovely service as well which is rare these days. Would thoroughly recommend.
