Great food and atmosphere. One of the best Italian family restaurants in Brisbane. Authentic! Wine list good price and appropriately priced. Still can't believe some of the negative comments... Maybe they should stick to dominos?
Ignore the poor reviews - this place is excellent! Amazing service and fantastic food. The veal scallopini is awesome. Took the kids and they loved it too!
Ate here on recommendation of friends. Is now an Italian & easily the best Italian family food we have eaten in Brisbane. Very friendly, nice space , great wine list. Highly recommend.
Very tasty italian food. Great atmosphere and Alessio is the best!!!! Thanks for great experience. Francesca was incredibly efficient to match vine and food. I eat crab lasagna and was perfect! Strange music maybe not italian. Anyway I'll come back for sure.
The Tavern was a really nice experience. We came here after bounce with the family. The venue is really well kept. The food was really amazing and the customer service was just as good. The place was really clean and was great for a beer and pizza while watching the football. Highly recommended and worth checking out next time you need a local pub or somewhere to take the family for lunch or dinner.

I had a meeting in that area..second time in that spot..running errors..so it was raining got some stuff from small local servo that I can’t say I was happy as I did got some stuff but as I am not familiar with area and I wanted to get my antibiotics as the script was going to expired..lady at counter totally mocking me and provided wrong info..hm..they are expensive there and misleading new customers..good for us..thank god it was raining..meeting I had lasted close to two hours..weather felt like I was in Britain so I said..well I should go and try my luck..so I did…nice pub..good heating system..great pokies..nice music..they make great cocktails and for sure locals and stuff welcoming,polite and provide correct info..I got told they are actually two chemists..they even put the effort to give directions that one was just walking distance and other one to shopping centre..I just laught it off realising that Indian lady before has I can’t say no brains but she has issues..happy I had my cocktail..perfect time for a good win to pokies..met intresting people and arvo flow well..love the decor and for sure I will try their food..nice..I even loved the plants they had at the smoking area..as other venues don’t have..love my flowers..nice place..good day
Visited in a Wednesday night they had trivia, was a great night and a good host. The food was well presented but sadly lacked flavour. This was our second visit and sadly we thought the same on the first visit. The staff were very polite, the atmosphere was good. Will go back for trivia again, fingers crossed the food flavour improves
Great food and atmosphere!!!! Partner said it was the best pork he's ever had. However the online ordering system needs updating as they were "out" of the wines we wanted which were listed on the system, but the bartender was able to recommend something similar to what we originally wanted, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Also should be able to use app pay being an AVC venue. A negative was that the waitress should have let us have a couple of bites our meals before doing a check on us - none of us had even tried our food before she asked. But all in all a very enjoyable experience.
Service is really warm, friendly and great! The pizzas are AMAZING! The dough, the toppings, the whole lot was so good we came here two nights in a row. Can't wait to come back! Thank you :)
Wonderful ambience and customer service. The portion size is very generous and food look super pretty. I ordered the pork roll. Skin was crispy and pork juicy. Only part didn't like was the filling of italian sausage which was dry and unflavorful as seen in last picture of left over food I didn't finish. Everyone else food looked delicious. Well done. Would come again.
