Over the years I have frequently travelled from Brisbane to NZ many times. My main concern is the lack of customs staff at the customs counters in the arrivals hall at Brisbane International Airport. On many occasions I have waited two hours to get through to the customs counters. Perhaps customs need to employ more staff to decrease the waiting time for passengers and increase the efficiency of a relatively new airport that promoted a quicker service to passengers when it first opened.
The airport is not very large, but the interior is spacious, the facilities are not as much as Melbourne airport. The staff are quick and friendly. The restrooms are clean. Public transport is right in front of the entrance, but the parking fee is quite expensive.
I love the food court in the domestic terminal.
Zone Gate 40 has more food options, compare to the rest of the area.
The quickness of getting to your gate amazing from the check in point to the gate patrons were amazing. Trains ride was amazing took 24 minutes to get to domestic airport🥳🥳🥳

We are frequent flyers and use the airport regularly. Over the years it has massively improved. The parking at the airport especially. The drop off is busy, but manageable. The long term parking is quite reasonably priced. Once inside, the place is clean and tidy.
