A great neighbourhood cafe with friendly staff and fair wages. The breakfast menu is the bomb - smashed ago, bacon and eggs, baked beans and more. Coffee by local roaster Baxter and Sons. Look out for the freshly cooked sweet treats.
Hands down the best breakfast I’ve had in a looooonnnngggg time. The smashed avo is to die for, do yourself a favour and add some halloumi and mushies, you will not regret it. Vanilla thickshake was a dream. While you’re at it grab a brownie to take away, all that gooey goodness. The atmosphere is super chilled, great music choice, super friendly staff and all the little plants. LOVE
Decided to check out The Crampton Social for a relaxed Sunday morning brekky with family. Tucked away in Keperra, this is a great little place for a quiet catch up and a decent strong coffee.
Husband had the Breaky Burger with mushrooms as extra. He was rather satisfied as it had all his favourite things - double smoked bacon, fried egg, cheese and aioli.
I opted for the Breakfast Bruchetta/Winter Melt - toasted ciabatta, tomato, red onion and basil, topped with melted mozzarella. Simple, yet really tasty and fresh.
The house blend here is The Hills by Baxter & Sons Roasters in Everton Hills. Great little salute to the local area. My vanilla flat white was stronger than I normally prefer, but I needed the pick-me-up and it was beautifully presented.
The Crampton Social inhabits quite a small premises, so not ideal for larger gatherings. We were a big group (7 in total) in comparison to the other tables, but the staff handled our requests very well with only a couple of minor hiccups.
Family and dog friendly, I suspect we'll be frequenting this little gem more often in the future.
Great place for breakfast on weekends, the brekky burger here is fantastic and service and coffee is always spot on. The only reason I haven't marked 5/5 is the weekday menu needs to be more like the weekend menu as it's really good!!
Really, Really good coffee. The food is excellent. The service relaxed but efficient. The best cafe in the whole mitchelton, keperra, arana hills, ferny grove area. I'd love to see the addition of a comfy couch or two!
Great local cafe, food always fresh with a great menu that caters to different food needs. Staff always friendly and atmosphere always a pleasure. Love the menu staples as well as the always changing and always amazing special items, the waffle specials in particular are a draw. Milkshakes and coffee to die for, great selection of juices and organic drinks. They do better bacon than anyone in Brisbane, and great for coffee lovers. Prices are kept reasonable also, which has earned it a steady local loyal customer base.
Perfect little cafe in a quiet position. Lovely, tasty and innovative brunch menu with enough choices to suit everyone. Extremely friendly service making it a very pleasurable experience. Highly recommended
Great little place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. With a good menu section, reasonability priced, good coffee and friendly staff. On a recent visit to Crampton Social I brunched on sour dough with avocado, chick peas, haloumi and labneh, it was delicious.
Went there this morning for breakfast. Bacon and eggs were really nice good sized portions and great coffee. Noticed 5 police officers there so usually a good indication of good coffee. Service was prompt. One downside was that you only get one corn fritter instead of two.
What a great little cafe this is, situated in a quiet leafy shopping precinct with very friendly staff & fast service. We enjoyed a laid back breakfast with the pooch in tow. Nice simple food done well with fresh ingredients. Loved the addition of the red onion in the avocado & that salty creamy feta. Coffee was smooth, creamy & delicious, very well rendered & poured
Delicious brekky on a Sunday morning. We arrived early so there were plenty of seats available and the service was very quick!
Meals were yummy - bacon & eggs and corn fritters. Perfect poached eggs!!
Great menu with lots of options & reasonably priced.
We will return to try the sweet breakfast!
Tucked away in a small complex (next to Spar convenience store) in Keperra is a café called Crampton Social. You walk into a small, clean space with rustic features and mismatched chairs. A Rolling Stones poster hangs next to photos of the coffee farmers that made the beans that made your coffee. The atmosphere is friendly, warm and informal without pretense. We had the most delicious breakfast here this morning, with really decent coffee, and we will certainly be back soon. Perfect for Sunday breakfast, brunch or lunch, prices are around $14-$18 per main (and some cheaper options). Love it!
