Grabbed a Groupon deal to have a banquet for two here. The only waitress was very hospitable with proficient attitude. Dishes are very authentic that remind us the time traveling in Bali.
Love the theatre of presenting charcoal grills on the tables for meat skewers and also appreciate the use of lazy Susan to present the rest of dishes at the same time. Taste of food is good and the dessert of pandan is another highlight of the night 👍😋

The flavours have to be experienced. Their Balinese themed restaurant creates a traditional Balinese atmosphere, perfect to enjoy an awesome but well priced meal. Try their Rijstaffel, it's amazing!

This is an awesome restaurant with delicious food and a comprehensive wine list. The service is efficient and always with a smile. Our daughter’s 25th birthday dinner here was a lot of fun. Don’t let the road works put you off. There is parking out the back. We will definitely be back again soon.

We a group of 8 had a 7 dish banquet from a Groupon deal. It was tasty and delicious. The restaurant seemed not too busy but ambience and atmosphere was top notch.

The decor of the restaurant gives you a feel that you are in Bali without it being token. The service was prompt and courteous, able to answer our questions. We got the six course banquet from Groupon. Before you panic I will assure you that they are not large meals. You get to experience their food without overgorging. First course was sate skewers served on a charcoal cooker utensil to keep warm. The meat was tender and cooked just right. Next was a chicken soup, a little spicy but the serving is small. We then have a taste of five main dishes served with rice. The beef was so tender it almost crumbled as you cut it. I really liked the chicken curry. Last but not least was a coconut pancake, the right amount of sweetness to stop you feeling sick. This restaurant is on a main road so parking could be challenging. Also what you receive from the voucher is different from the proper banquet they usually do. Double check before purchasing.

This is a great restaurant with fantastic food. We had the vegetable main and the stewed lamb and it was delicious. The outdoor seating was perfect (though indoor is available) and the design is 100% Balinese. I recommend it.

Bayleaf on Brisbane is a very pleasant establishment hidden away in the Airport Motel on Kingsford Smith Drive. The Balinese setting immediately relaxes you and takes from you the stress of a hard day at the office. Whether you're there for the happy hour, which is on everyday Monday to Friday or the very delicious Balinese style food, you'll leave relaxed and comfortably full with a smile on your face, thinking which dishes will I have next time. The staff are lovely and can not do enough for you, answering all and every question you may have about the cuisine. If you're a first timer, I would suggest you have a share platter that will introduce you to the many flavours and taste of Balinese food. Quite an extensive menu for only a small restaurant, it's well worth giving it a try if you're in the area, and well worth the drive if you're not. It also has an extensive and well priced liquor menu. Bon appetit, Jack Kelly.

Fish in banana leaf-pretty good; duck curry missed the mark. Pork satay sticks at $1.00 ea- terrific Wine was a ripper, but the beer list is dreadful. Roadworks on Kingsford Smith must have damaged their business badly.
