We didn’t have breakfast here but had a cheeky coffee and it was really delicious! Will definitely be back to test out the food next time.
this was ordered via uber eats. It was quick, fresh and delicious
Have to try the bowl of coffee! It’s seriously seriously big! And quality of course 🙂. If you have a couple of hours to sit down with a coffee and anything relaxing, this is your place!
Little Larder has definitely upped their game in recent times. They've had plenty of competition around the area but they still hold their own. It's just a decent place for a coffee and some good old brekky.
No matter what you are craving this quiet relaxing local cafe will satisfy your needs. Never had a bad meal, love sitting outside and watching new Farm locals go about their lives. Staff are super friendly.
Not the first time to have brekkie here but the first time to place my review. Explored this café early in the morning so I can secure a parking spot easily on the busy street. Not a busy morning so I was not the only table there. Ordered a flat white and a Green eggs with smoked salmon. Toby Estate is one of my favourite and the barista did a good job, which delivered a strong & smooth coffee. Pesto infused scrambled egg is quite interesting, particularly accompanied with my favourite smoked salmon that earned my appreciation. It is a decent brekkie experience and also withdrew my memories of living across the road 30 years ago... time past very quick!!
First of all, I have to say that it has been one of the most delicious brunches I have eaten in Brisbane (taste, how the dish looks and smells), but there was something that was just "fine" the atmosphere, the kitchen is too Close to the tables and it's a bit stressful to hear the blender and other things while you're having a conversation or simply you want to have a peaceful time.
Anyway, I recommend you to come and try this place.!
The cafe here had a really great vibe and the food was great! I ordered the eggs Mexican and it was really delicious and serving size was well worth the money spent.
The staff are nice and friendly, the surroundings are pleasant and if you're lucky you'll get to meet "Pumpkin", the chicken from next door. Ordered the big breakfast and the French toast to share, it was very tasty and great coffee.
Visited this cafe for breakfast. The location is nice. The tables are jammed together and wobble a lot.
Staff are very nice and friendly. Service was fast enough. We didn't have to wait too long.
Food was nice. We ordered crispy polenta and herbivore. They were nice but too oily.i needed to have something to wash the oil down.
Love the matcha latte here, service isn't speedy but it is quite the local haunt for neighbours to get their caffeine fix. Green eggs are delicious!
How funny is it having breaky with a chicken under your feet. Our daughter was thoroughly entertained. Breakfast was ok, plentiful and the coffee was good.
Great drinks, Awesome food. Easily one of the best cafe menus in Brisbane. Easy going atmosphere and prompt service. I've visited more times than I can count and never been let down. Will be back soon.
Excellent services!! Food was outstanding YUMMM . .
Green eggs and salmon on a Sunday morning. Generous serve, flavours as expected. Busy but quick service despite. Toby's estate coffee all fine. A good breakfast option.
Due to a bad first experience going to The Little Larder, I was a bit hesitant about coming back.
But you have to try it again in order to know whether it was a bad day or if it is a bad place to go.
Our verdict - definitely a lot better this time round. What happened last time you may ask? Our first experience - the staff was not happy nor friendly. The food was salty to the point you could of chug down a litre of water and the wait for food was long.
This time the staff was friendly and attentive and the food was enjoyable. We ordered Eggs USA and Eggs Mexican - be warned both of them had a kick to it. If you like spice like we do, you should definitely try it
Tried the Little Larder for brunch recently and was impressed with the experience. It's a cute little cafe with funky decor. I had the pesto scrambled eggs with smoked salmon which was delicious. It was so good I forgot to take a photo to share it, maybe next time. Would recommend.
I am such a fan of this place! Ahhhh. Their breakfasts are original and so doggone tasty I wish I could roll on into The Little Larder every morning! It helps that the gang there are super friendly, the coffees are fantastic and they even have a pet chicken... and even that chicken is a lad! Seriously, tell your friends, this place is the bomb-diggity.
Probably one of the best banana smoothies I have ever had. Sadly this place let itself down by hiring very few staff on a public holiday. Waited 20 mins for our drinks to arrive and 40 mins for lunch to arrive. Steak sandwich was very well presented but unfortunately the steak was stone cold. Not very happy after waiting 40 mins for our meals to arrive.
Tried out the new menu at the little larder and I was very impressed. The food was all very fresh and well presented, my favourite was definitely the granola jar! I'd recommend their new summer menu for sure.
Well priced and good food :)
We both had eggs benedict with a fresh juice.
You can take your dogs and sit out the front which is nice :)
Good service too.
I am quite surprised at the number of negative comments recently for LL - we have just had a seriously excellent brunch / lunch there today. The food was good - beautifully flavoured , with a little twist on the regular suspects plus some entirely new dishes. Just the right amount for each serving. I would agree that the service is too slow but I think it is mainly inexperience not disinterest. We will definitely try again for the little twist of flavours and the fresh juices. Highly recommend!
Good size portions, good value, good service especially the Asian guy working out front - very attentive. Turn the music down slightly though guys. I find this place to generally be a safe option and go fairly often
Great food. Great service. Very impressed with value for money. Will definitely be back !!
Great spot, but even better coffee. I just discovered this spot the other day. My mate lives around the corner and always raved about it so we met there for brunch on Saturday. It was busy, but we got a table and had our orders taken within 5 mins. The barista is amazing - just fantastic coffee (and I am seriously spoilt from years of living in Surry Hills in Sydney). The food was great too. I can't fault this place: service, coffee, food and atmosphere were all spot on. Will definitely be visiting again
Decent :). Food 7/10 Pulled pork burger with chips - the burger was decent though lacking some depth; chips were crispy but a tad oversalted
Coffee 7/10 Long black - a decent average coffee
Service 9/10 Friendly and attentive staff - the waitress greeted me with a big smile :)
Ambience 9/10 Nice al freso seating
Great food, great atmosphere! The food were not as bad as people described here. The beef creeks on toast was the best one I ever had in my life. Give them a try!
Our waiter was a bit scattered but friendly, great food and super coffee. Can see why this place is so popular.
Breakfast Favourite!. Love this place especially for Sat morning breaky!
A bit of a wait for food but the mouthwatering meals we had and the great happy go lucky service was phenomenal! Delicious!!
Always a pleasure. I've eaten here a few times and the service has always been excellent. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the good. Yet to find a better place for brekky.
Went there twice, the staff is always friendly and the food really nice! We had the eggs benedict with smoked salmon: the poached eggs was perfect and the whole dish amazing! This has become our favourite breakfast spot! Keep the good work.
New Farm favorite. Honestly the best brekkie in New Farm. Larder is always reliable with everything - food always spot on, service not bad for a cafe, coffee fantastic. Cant go past the pulled pork! Love this place!
A lovely little cafe in a beautiful tree lined street, with alfresco dining out the front of the cafe, The service was fantastic, highly attentive & extremely helpful & polite. The menu offered a great selection of options & we were asked for our drinks order as soon as we were seated, which was very professional & appreciated. A bottle of chilled water was served without having to ask. Our meals were delicious, generous in size & great value for money. I was particularly impressed with the presentation of the food served, it did add to our overall enjoyment of this cute little cafe. We look forward to returning again! Finding a car park might be your only issue as this is a busy street with a number of apartment buildings, but we easy found a park on one of the side streets, you will no doubt enjoy your walk along this gorgeous riverside suburb.
Fit us in during a busy lunch service. Coral trout burger 10/10. Was very happy they accommodated my mother in law to be able to order a smaller kids meal. Thank you.
We visited on a Saturday, in the brunch service period and our experience was just exceptional. It started off by warmly being greeted by the lady working, her demeanor was sunny and welcoming and had instantly made me feel relaxed. The food was delicious. The Hong Kong style waffles I had were light and tasty, and the juice was fresh. The other dish we ordered was the omnivore and as far as portion sizes go this was high of the value for money scale without sacrificing the quality of food.
The cafe is located on a rather ‘quiet for a big street’ street that allows you to zone out and watch the world go by. It’s location nestled in amongst the leafy streets of New Farm can fool you in to feeling those vacation vibes. I can’t wait to come back again.
Meals and coffee were very good, cost a bit but we went during a public holiday so that's okay :)
