This is one of two places that I frequent where everything on the menu and in the cabinets is gluten free. Not only that, but the range is huge and all the food is really, really good. It is so nice to be able to have pastry based foods and I can't believe for a minute that the bread is not baked on the premises, because it tastes so damn good! It is ok to have shop bought bread as a gf substitute, but when it is specially baked it takes everything to a totally new level. The service is great, the coffee is good and the brownies are to die for. The waffles and pancakes are also exceptional, as are the sandwiches and sausage rolls. I am a happy gluten free bunny :-)

Love that fact that you can come in and order anything off the menu and it is gluten free. Delicious sausage rolls and pies. We also tried the baked berry cheesecake which was a winner.

Blackstar coffee here is a winner, but make sure if you want to taste that smooth brew order a double a double shot. We did & it was just perfect. The breakfast dishes are simple & pretty basic. However simple done well is always good. I had my staple avocado & it was ultra fresh, nothing much added only chilli & heirloom tomatoes, but the flavor was all there due to the freshness of the produce. Jomasi the pooch loved the back garden too a beautiful quiet spot to relax

Great service, awesome food! Ordered the 2 cheese and shroom sambo and the chicken and veg pie.. didn't take too long to come out and were delish! Wouldn't have guessed the sambo bread and pie pastry weren't gluten free! <br/><br/>Would come again when we're back in the area. <br/><br/>Ps. Was actually looking at having some bagels too! *wink wink nudge nudge*

Finiky, was a very pleasurable experience, from the decor to the staff and food. There was a very warm and artistic feel as you enter the cafe whilst the staff being incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. And last but not least the food! I was very impressed with the range of gluten and dairy free options they have on their menu, for both breakfast and lunch as well as there delicious choice of dairy free options for drinks too. They also have a very nicely displayed cabernet of mouth watering looking gluten free patisserie treats, which I have not yet tried but definitely want to try on my next visit. When I visited I came for breakfast which was very fresh and flavoursome meal, one hard not to forget! An all round very enjoyable experience! Thank you Finiky! :)

The food (and Banana Smoothie) at Finiky are to-die-for. I really enjoyed my meal--it was fresh and presented immaculately. The atmosphere is great, the interior is welcoming and the staff are extremely helpful. Would highly recommend!

Yummy! Came for bday lunch with friends today : had an avo bagel : beautiful & fresh. Followed this up with an always beautiful BLACKSTAR coffee & a large selection of the amazing homemade treats ... to die for!!! The pastry was out of this world! I'm amazed at the quality and array of choices : especially given they were all gluten free!!! (Which I am not, but loved anyway). <br/><br/>Taringa locals are truly lucky to have this little gem in their neighbourhood!!!

Took my friends here who weren't sure about the whole gluten free, but they loved it so much, its now our place to catch up! I can finally eat anything i want. Sweet and savoury items are delicious and the coffee is great too!

Can't actually report on the food yet but can confirm that the mochas are BEAUTIFUL. Heaven in a takeaway cup.<br/>The food range looks excellent and one of these days I shall have to try some. There always seems to be a large range of food to cover a range of dietary requirements and the people seem really considerate in checking what people can and can't eat.

A gluten intolerant friend was coming to tea so I made the trip over to Taringa to discover Finiky. It was difficult to decide between all the yummy looking offerings so I bought lots, served them to my guests and waited for comments. Everyone loved them! (both coeliac and non). The cakes were demolished quickly with lots of comments on how delicious they were, and my coeliac friend (who normally cant eat much) devoured everything, because finally she had found something she could safely eat. Thanks Finiky - we will return.
