Best Italian I’ve had in a long time! I have tried a variety of pizza and pasta dishes and all have been superb! Also the best gnocchi I have ever tasted!
Had dinner there last night with a birthday group. I had the ink squid seafood pasta and it was superb. Friends ordered other pasta, pizza & steak and everyone enjoyed what they had. Some tried a bit of mine and agreed my pasta was indeed very good. BYO place so that’s a big plus. Will go back for sure.
Beautiful Italian. Two puttanesca pizzas. Superb. Fettuccine Del mare quite to very nice. Taglioline al formaggio di Capra goats cheese stunning. Bottle shop next door. What’s not to love?? Gracias. Bellissimo
Pizzas are best in Brisbane. I had Penne Gamberi which was most delectable and had an abundance of seafood. Four of us walked out having paid $70. Great value
Had Penne Gamberi and tiramisu for dinner. The rose source for penne was so on point and the tiramisu was not too sweet, as I normally find tiramisu too sweet for my liking. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The outside seating was not cramped and really good for a chat with friends. Definitely a good place to visit for dinner with family or friends.
$10 tuesday pizzas are the best I've found.
Their pizzas are really well made and for such a good price why bother with anywhere else?
Good selection of toppings and BYO with two bottleshops and the IGA next door, it's going to be a good night out.
Brilliant Local. This is a local joint for us in the St Lucia village.
They run $10 pizzas every lunch and this deal operates on Tuesday evening also. The pizzas are lovely, crisp but never burned, nice thiun dough etc and I would reccomend the Verdurena - for a while they had a divine Beef pizza with tzatziki (crossing my fingers they bring it back).
It is a small menu but has the Italian favourites for everyone and it is well cooked quality food and affordable.
It's a lovely place and the ladies work SO hard. It is mainly outdoor seating but it is shady and has a big fan going on hot days.

I just have to say I made an account just to set the record straight. I dont know what went on a few months ago that caused all these negative comments but my work friends and I are regulars around the vill for friday lunch and we have nothing bad to say about the food or service. We have been visiting since the twins opened and pasta has been consistently yummy and the thin crust pizzas are always great. I haven't tried the salmon but suggest sticking to the Italian dishes it is a Italian restaurant at the end of the day.
Pleasantly surprised!! The food was fresh, tasty and generous portions. I had the chicken risotto, quite delicious and it did not leave you with the oily aftertaste, which in my opinion is the mark of a very good risotto. The staff was attentive with a bright smile and only too happy to move the heater closer on a cold night. Great to have another food choice close by!

Lunch. I've eaten here three times, and each time I have been impressed at both the food and service.
The food is excellent - a small menu, with simple but tasty dishes (very Italian) and quality ingredients at a VERY reasonable price. Serving sizes are very generous, and the food has always been served quickly.
The service has been friendly, prompt and not pushy (again, very Italian!).
I will definitely be coming back.
Decent Pizza. I managed to catch a special for $10 pizzas one night. I chose the Gamberi pizza and was not disappointed. I think they're usually $14-$15.

Good food but half hearted service. We had lunch here with a Scoopon voucher, so we could pick two entrees, two mains, and 2 deserts.
The entrees we picked were Garlic & Chili Prawns, which were divine, and the Original Bruschetta, which was fine.
For mains we had the grilled salmon with chips (really, chips??) and salad, and the other main was Gnocci in tomatoe sauce. The salmon was perfectly cooked, however if I had been a full-paying customer, the piece of fish would definitely have been too small. The salad was nice, was it would have been nice to have a more sophisticated side than chips. Disappointing.
The gnocci were fine, but I could have cooked this meal myself.
The deserts were probably the best part. We had the crepe with fresh strawberries and a beautiful honey glaze. The other desert was white cheese cake which was one of the best I've ever had.
Also great is the fact that BYO is free (no corkage).
All in all, I think I would come back! However there is definitely room for improvement on the service. The girls were friendly but it was obvious they just wanted to get us out the door- Whether this was because we were slightly late and they wanted to close, or/and whether we had a voucher, I have no idea.
Great food and good sized meals! Staff weren't so friendly when we first walked in but after 5 minutes became quite pleasant.
We found the food to be fresh and tasty and definatly large enough portion sizes. we had originally had a little trouble trying to book as staff weren't returning our calls but once we had our booking and went for dinner we had a great time, staff were efficient and the food was delicious, would definatly return
I love pizza, so naturally I tried the local Italian joint “Twins on the Village”. It’s always empty, so I always wonder what’s wrong. They do $10 lunch pizza specials.
