My family have been coming here regularly for years. The food is consistently good. Our favourites are the vegetarian spring rolls, mixed entree, yellow chicken curry, beef in peanut sauce.
Siam Garden is under new management
and now serving lunch Saturdays and Sundays. Lunch menu is different from dinner menu. It is more traditional street food. And absolutely delicious.
The food is pretty good, have ordered takeout from here a few times. The wait can be long but for what you get it is worth the wait. The restaurant is beautiful with indoor plants and warm lighting, with a marquee-tent style roof that makes it seem really spacious and open. Love the choo chee fish curry, it is my go to on every visit.
8/10. This place is just around the corner from me, so it's great for Friday nights when I can't be bothered cooking. The only thing I've tried that I haven't enjoyed were the steamed dim sims. The chicken Jasmine is my personal favourite and the pad Thai has never let me down!
When staff tell a patron that there is a 20 minute wait - don't lie & have them wait 45 minutes for a nice enough meal. If you inform customers that there will be a 45 minute wait, they will probably enjoy the meal more. Feel sorry for the 11 other parties waiting for their take out after us. Not the best Thai in town, but okay.
I love this place! We live around the corner from here and this is our go to restaurant for something a bit more fancy than the usual takeaway. We have both dined in and gotten takeaway and didn't have any problems with either. They have a huge menu, heaps to choose from. I definitely recommend the massaman curry, Thai beef fried rice and the coconut rice. My favourites. Give it a go!
Siam Garden has been producing excellent Thai food for the citizens of The Gap for many years. Located on the corner of Settlement and Waterworks Roads the restaurant is relatively basic but the food is consistantly good. I mostly have take away but this does not diminish the quality. Great thai for a reasonable price.
Best Thai in Brisbane!. I used to live in The Gap and went to Siam Garden on a very regular basis for over 2 years. Now based on the Southside I miss having the luxury of Siam down the street, regardless I still endeavour to make the trip once a month and on special occasions because it is definitely worth it!!
Staff are so friendly and the food is always out quickly. Delicious meals, my favourites are the Thai beef salad, StirFry penut sauce, StirFry Garlic pepper and it is so far THE BEST Coconut Rice and Coconut Juice I have had at any Thai restaurant!! I highly recommend this restaurant as it has never left me dissatisfied.
Very Good Suburban Thai. Siam Garden is one of a handful of Thai restaurants in Brisbane that I never tire of. My family and I have been patronising this establishment for many years and I have yet to have a bad experience. Everything tastes freshly cooked, they incorporate a lot of fresh vegies into whatever dish you order as well and I never finish a meal feeling weighed down by overly-rich cooking. To anybody who is curious about this place I can not recommend them enough and if you live in The Gap and haven't been, you're missing out.
Great food. We live not far from this restaurant and have eaten most things on the menu either takaway or dine in. The restaurant itself it pretty basic but you don't go for the atmosphere you go for the food and I have not had a dish yet that I did not enjoy.
After 40 years a living nearby, we visited this restaurant for the first time. We can't work out why there weren't more people dining in. They seem to do more takeaways, but there is plenty of clean and comfortable dining space, and the staff are very pleasant. I'm no did expert but the dishes are more of a salad Thai, but nevertheless well presented, well priced, and tasty. Will be going back again for sure. We took a doggy bag home. Main dishes $17.90 each, large rice $4.90 5% discount for cash.
The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. The food arrived quickly and came in good portion sizes. Will definitely be coming back!
