My second visit to this historic tea room. Fabulous value high tea $50 including glass of bubbly. Great special birthday for my mums 86th birthday.

A quiet & old-style restaurant located inside City Hall. Food is yummy, beyond my expectations. Tourists can also attend Clock Tower & City Hall tour after meals. Tours are free of charge, but booking is essential.

My mother and myself enjoyed a lovely high tea today at the Shingle Inn City Hall. The sandwiches were fresh, scones were delicious so too the lovely cakes and tarts. A big thank you to Maram who made our high tea experience extra special.

Cute cafe with nostalgic charm. We only had scones with champagne and coffee and it tastes lovely. The bright lights in the 2seats cabinets were a bit annoying and that it wasn’t really clear if we can pay at the table or on the way out. The sparking in the scones combo was particular nice and will Pass by for another round for sure.

Loved the Devonshire Tea and pumpkin soup. Large menu with options for boths grown ups and kids. The avocado and chicken crepe stack lacked a bit of flavor and was quite fatty. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitely worth visiting if you want a different kind of experience as the place being the oldest cafe in Brisbane with all the interior and details from the 1930's.
