Hm. More a 3.5 star experience for me personally, the flavours weren't quite to my taste profile. Owner has a good sense of humour. Everything was executed well, just not my cup of tea.

Probably the best American style breakfast my family and I ever had! We ordered the "They bought the farm" from the menu. The food was scrumptious and portion was very generous, enough to fill up the 4 of us. We also loved the location of the cafe, in a quiet neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Will definitely visit again the next time we're in Brisbane. Highly recommended.

Delicious, authentic American cuisine! We went for dinner and had a wonderful experience. The ribs were superb and the corn bread was the best we've ever had!

Really lovely cafe and excellent service. The coffee is great and the food is delicious. We shared the farmers breakfast and was not disappointed. We will definitely be coming back to try their lunch. Beautiful family that owns the cafe and it is a hidden neighborhood gem.

Delicious food! Awesome service! Great Coffee! Well priced! American style food that is well worth trying. Have had nearly everything on the menu over the past few months and it's all amazing. Must try the Corned Beef Rueben and Philly cheese steak...... yummmm!

I have been coming here for some time now and can say that owner is always welcoming and knows my order every time I come in. Has the best scrambled eggs I have had in Brisbane. I would encourage anyone to try this cafe out.

Went for breakfast, was given a popper for a drink and what tasted like packet mix pancakes. I was told this place was really good by a friend but that was for lunch/dinner so perhaps they do a much better job at those times. 2 stars for reasonable price and food came out fairly fast (perhaps too fast?? ).

Went for breakfast, the buttermilk pancakes were soft and fluffy, very delicious. The mushroom bruschetta was an excellent savoury choice. Looking forward to visiting again.

I have had crazy pregnancy cravings and have been dreaming of a Reuben sandwich for weeks. Lucky! Today was the day that I found a local cafe on menulog that would come to the rescue. Whilst the corned beef wasn't as corned as I would personally like (salty, pink, flaky) and came more of a rare roast beef style, the sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, pickles and dressing on thick dark rye was absolutely bang on. The seasoned waffle fries were also a delight. Those in my office were smelling and walking past my desk in envy. A huge, satisfying meal. I'll definitely be back.

Found this place on Zomato, and decided to go based on the menu and the pictures of the food. The owner was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the prices fair. The food came with a really big portion size and was super nice. We got Reuben sandwiches, and there was lots and lots of fresh corned beef, great sauce, everything. Instead of hot chips, the sandwiches we ordered came with crisps, which was a surprise but exciting since you don’t get that much here. Overall very good, would go back!

I had to edit my review after having their Thanksgiving dinner special as it was delicious! We're really enjoying the new dishes which are wholesome, generous portions and full of flavour. It's nice to have a local cafe that does authentic American food. We also like that they're BYO drinks. We'll definitely be back.

I listed this cafe on Zomato as it had been recommended to me by a local. Have to say the service was good & a double shot in the coffee was no extra charge. Coffee was a tad bitter though unfortunately , it was presented well though

Located at the same spot of the previous GJays Food, this cafe is mainly serving locals for brekkie and lunch seven days a week. Even though it is a new listing of Zomato, it has been opened over two months already (was told by the owner chef, today is the 62 days). Being located in a small shopping village of the area, exposure is the problem. Having said that, passion from the owner chef may compensate the issue. Ordered a flat white and a light brekkie with scramble egg & toast. Flat white came with a very large cup but the chef is not a good barista. It was let go because the chef offered me a new one very politely. Savoury dish came in with well presentation. I reckon the scrambled egg was just slightly over-done. Well, even though there are faults but I still wish the business all the best. Cheers!
