The Pizza's are nice. The Carbonara & Spaghetti are to die for & their ribs are killer. The sauce they come in are so tasty. I always poor that over the spaghetti ð yum
Pancho's is a bit of a Bulimba institution as it's been around for 30 years.
They do pizza's which are filling and have lots of toppings. Â Yes the bay bread is a goer. Â The food is very decent and the pastas will leave you feeling satisfied. Â Now there is a bar which I've been to a few times under private booking. Â Support this local honest business.
Amazing food, the pizza base was outstanding! The staff were lovely and very welcoming. My friend and I got a few cocktails, and they were all amazing as well. Looking forward to going back.
The best Italian I've had in a long time. We have been to Panchos a few times now, tonight was the first time we dined in - the food was even better than we expected, wine was spectacular and the service was excellent - our waitress was Sharon. We ordered a starter of risotto balls - divine. Mains were tandoori pizza and avo gnocchi - superb. Overall, we were so impressed with Panchos. Our lovely waitress was welcoming and we will definitely be back very soon!
Take away. I only ever get take away pizzas but they have always been very good and well priced. If you live within the delivery area they are great for a night in.
Great, greasy pizzas. Great local pizzeria. They do pasta and other meals as well but the pizzas are great. We had a large group of about 15 and we did have to wait for a table to leave so they could sit everyone together - not ideal but not poor by any means.
Pricing is OK, but the quality is quite good. They can have loud music going, it's certainly not a romantic venue as the listing suggests. Be prepared to get your fingers greasy! The classic pizzas were good, some of the pizzas, like margherita didn't have much on them.
As with any place in Bulimba, parking is terrible any time after 4:30.
Slightly overpriced but a good chilled out dinner. Cheap drinks!!!
I think that most of the negative critical reviews on this restaurant are hilarious. You really don't know ponchos if you're going to complain about too much cheese in the garlic bread. That's what ponchos is all about...cheese. And everyone knows you order your seafood pizzas with no ham. They will shove that ham on anything if you let them. Haha. And don't order the pasta or anything gourmet. Their just normal pizzas are great and classics. Real shame about the no Byo now. I think that was a mistake.
Decent Pizza. Had a few beers in the Moon Bar before deciding to order a pizza to take home.
Good pizza (deep pan kind of style) would have one again, but probably prefer Earth and Sea just down the road for this style of pizza
Really enjoyed our Tapas last night, great service too. Downside parents who let their kids run riot while they keep drinking.Glad the owner noticed tho!
Deep love for this place. I have been eating at Panchos since I was a child. For me, this isn't just a nostalgic thing, as I have tested friends at panchos and they all love it too. The pizzas are amazing. They are simple, not overly fancy like other pizza places along oxford street.
Whenever I go overseas, I always ask for Panchos when I return.
Review. Staff very friendly, pizza is great but don't go for the pasta. The cabonara sauce was just a lump of cheese which was a sickening.........but happy to go back for the pizza anytime.
25 years of eating here - still Oxford St's best. The huge pizzas, gooey garlic cheese breads and saucy ribs are a fixture of any local family celebration. We eat here once a week, and have always enjoyed it.
We'll be back. We have visited this restaurant, from time to time over the past 21 years and chose it for a function for 40 people who came from all states of Australia, the ACT and NZ, who meet annually to enjoy a meal and each other's company.
It was a busy Friday night, with a mix of large and small groups in the various areas.
As organisers, we chose the banquet option, of breads, pasta and salad, pizzas, deserts, tea and coffee, shared every course and enjoyed every last, tasty crumb. All courses were served in a timely manner, by attentive staff. The kitchen had no problems satisfying the pallets of all, including one of our number, who has particular dietary requirements.
Alcoholic drinks were purchased from the liquor shop across the road. Coolers were supplied for the whites, beer was refrigerated until required. Staff kept up the supply of soft drinks and cold water on request.
Our guests enjoyed the night, the food and the surroundings and were not disappointed when the evening finished and their ride on the CityCat took them past the Christmas decorations of many riverside properties. It was highly satisfying that the night received as many (if not more) compliments from a group that has met, together, for the past 12 years.
The compliments were still flowing 24 hours later.
Sincere thanks must go to our hosts and their staff for a highly successful evening.
Next year we will meet in Adelaide, wondering what that city will produce.
Party Animal - Perfect!. Pancho's Party Animal pizza is perfect for feeding a large group of people. Consistently tasty and affordable. Never eaten here. Fast and friendly pick up service.
Went tonight with my family. Whilst I enjoyed my meal (supreme pizza) there was nothing fantastic about it. I would go back but not in a rush. One of the other people had their lamb special pizza which I tried but thought it just tasted like cheese. Like I said, I didn't mind it just won't rush back.
Awesome local. I've been also going here for years, and I actually have date night with my partner of 5 years. We go here probably every two months, we grab a bottle of rose from the bottle shop across the road, share a pizza, garlic calzone and a large greek salad all for around $45 max, great food and atmosphere, very low corkage, just yum!
Classic Pizzeria. Pancho's can be great on the right day/time. Though have be severly dissapointed on rare occasions buy the quality of the food/service. Dont go there on a romantic evening, its common knowledge to expect alot of background noise, its all part of the atmosphere.
Do I like it? I LOVE it. Have been eating at Panchos for many years and I thought I would finally give them a wrap. Good old traditional pizzas that are so tasty and never ever disappoint. Great value for money.
Do yourself a favour, have a Panchos pizza, you deserve it :o)
Great food. Awesome pizza!!!! Love the bay bread. Very homely and welcoming.
Where the flashy restaurants end, Bulimba's Oxford street warps back in time to its bogan past! A Mexican pizza joint with rough tables and mismatched cutlery that could seriously claim the title of Brisbane's best! The toppings are consistently fresh and the garlic bread is a cheesey, gooey delight. Byo a sweet and frivolous red and settle in for a relaxed night. Dining inside is noisey if busy so sit by the door or outside if there are any large bookings.
Pretty Tasty. We got the ribs, a pizza and garlic bread. All of it was pretty tasty. Pizza had plenty of toppings and the garlic bread was super cheesy.
The guy who took our order was pretty rude, and it's a bit pov with plastic chairs. But Still tasty :D
The Cheese filled Garlic Bread is a Pancho's Pizza must have, it's full of gooey cheese and if you're going to have a heart attack, you must as well do it properly
