A great place to have lunch and they have seating for groups. I love the good vibes between indoors & outdoor. They serve good pub meals & do takeaway as well.

Ordered the Mexican topped Chicken Parmi for lunch. The portion size was great with generous sides to complement. For $15, It'd on the mark for a sit down lunch in the city, add their tap beer special for $5 and your on a winner 🏆. The staff are friendly with no BS. Cheers Victory 🍻

Extremely friendly, professional and good looking staff. Such a good atmosphere with the good vibes from the staff and the great music going on in the background taking everyone to the next level. Might end my google review night here. Think it's the best scene I'm goanna find in Brisbane. Well done guys.

Came to the Victory for lunch today and was glad I did. I ordered the rump steak with chips and salad (mashed potato and vegetables were other options). My steak arrived in a timely fashion and was cooked perfectly to order (medium rare). The steak was tender and full of flavour. Would highly recommend coming here for excellent, well-priced meals ($25 for rump steak) in a pleasant beer-garden setting. Cheers.

This was my first time going out to the pub alone in a city I did not know. I popped in for 1 drink and ended up staying until closing time. Super friendly staff members, great music and just an all around great environment to be in. I found myself coming back every night I was staying in the city. Highly recommended!

Service is always friendly and welcoming. Food is so delicious and generous portions at a great price!
If you're in the city, pop in and enjoy a cold drink in a great atmosphere.

Good food, good staff, cold beer although it smells dirty.
The men's toilet door in the beer garden area was filthy and you don't have to look far to see that it is a neglected property.
I expected a little more than that in the middle of a city like Brisbane.
I visited quite a lot of pubs in Brisbane and this was the worst for cleanliness of about a dozen that I visited.
There are better pubs close by.
FOODIE ADVENTURE
Pleasantly surprised by this place. Was just expecting a horrible pub joint but it was actually quite nice. Extremely busy but nice. Made a reservation online. My booking was there as expected. $10 jugs of beer...great! Ordered the grilled barra which was beautiful. Even the chips and salad was lovely. Honestly really pleasantly surprised with everything from service to food. Lovely!

Came here for a Friday lunch. Perfect little beer garden in the middle of the city. Where else can you get $10 jugs if beer. It was pretty busy on a friday lunch so its best to book if coming in a large group. We got their calamari and chips and their steak and chips which came with ceaser salad. Good portion sizes. We both polished our plates. Good atmosphere.

Cool place to hangout with friends for drinks. It's a very lively place and the live performances here are great. Drinks are quite reasonable.

In a lineup of standard pub counter meals, it'd be impossible to specifically identify food from the Vic. Which is fine for a work farewell lunch. My Barramundi was exactly as described on the box (grilled w salad & chips) & cost $12.50. No complaints.

End boring review. 😊

Had a great lunch there, my burger came out quick and was served with a comp drink. I had the pulled pork burger and it was one of the best I've had in Brisbane. The beer garden is neat and tidy with a big screen. Definitely worth a visit for there burgers and drink offers.

On my quest to try steaks near my workplace, one of the places which I've heard quite a number of mixed reviews about was The Victory. Opinions from different people I've spoken to have been very divided, some claim its the best steak in Brisbane, whilst some say its quite horrible. After hearing such conflicting information, I thought it would probably be best to try it myself to find out whether it was indeed good or bad once and for all.Â

A lot of history in the Victory Hotel. Tbh food is very average, but many times it's became a friendly meeting place with value prices on all drinks and food.

Unfortunately, you get what you pay for and we didn't pay much. Average food.

Terrible Burger with burned pattie. Went there couple weeks ago with few colleagues. I had a low expectation on a pub food, but amazingly their food went even lower. The meat pattie was completely burned outside and they want to charge you $14 for that crap. I did not even finish it. Not sure it was their intention in the first place or just terrible cooking overall. Please walk a bit further to the mall and try Gill'd instead. At least they have decent food and CHEAPER.

Best deal in Brisbane. This place is great for travellers on a budget. You can get a filling meal for under $10, and specials closer to $5. We had the evening special for Monday of fish and chips that came with a small salad for $6 and it was excellent.

Nice place for a Tuesday. I tried pale ale monkeys fist. It was drinkable. Food seemed simple but satisfying and worh it

$3 Steak on Sundays! Great Deal!. A $3 steak; how could we pass that up? If you can get past the mediocre bar staff and slight lack of cleanliness, then you’ll find that this is a fantastic deal!

Looking for a place to have lunch on Sunday (16 December), my partner noticed a sign for $3 Steaks at the Victory Hotel. Why not, we thought and entered into the court yard with lots of seats outside, with some of them covered.

We asked one of the bar maids what the steaks came with and she answered we could order chips for an additional $2. This Sunday deal seemed to be getting better and better.

We decided to order some drinks and looked through the big selection of what was on tap. We asked about one of them and the two bar maids seemed to have no clue. Nor did they seem friendly, enthusiastic or even appreciative that we were there. They were however, dutifully dressed to be “eye candy” behind the bar, but I guess that’s where their job description may have ended. I ordered a bottle of Tooheys Old beer and my partner had a pint of Bulmers Cider which came to $11.95.

Having been given a pager for when our food was ready for pick-up, we went to find seats. Finding a table in the covered section we sat down. Near my seat, however, I had stepped in a big piece of gum, obviously left by some of the clientele who one would imagine frequenting this place. Charming.

Our pager went off and my partner wen to retrieve our meals. Turns out that the $2 chips were actually chips and salad.

Digging in, our medium-rare steaks had been cooked to medium, with only a slight trace of pinkness inside. They were still very tender and had a light salty seasoning on it, so overall, it was still quite tasty.

The salad served with it was a Caesar salad, which was a nice change from the usually served green salad. The only problem with this was that the salad had been served warm. I ate it anyway because I was hungry, but a note to the kitchen, perhaps keep an eye on this to prevent complaints to the health department.

The chips were very hot and fresh. With a descent amount of salt and a crispy golden outside, they were fabulous bar chips!

I am going to vote that I like this restaurant but it is ONLY based on the food we ate. $5 for a well-sized lunch of fairly good quality is certainly a place I’ll be coming back to.

Can't complain about the steak. Cooked to my liking, chips were good. Nothing flash
