Good solid american feasting.
Menu is predominately meat with a side of meat cooked in meat.
I ordered wings a burger and fries which were all cooked amazing with sauces and dips which were also delicious.
Definitely recommend for a man feast.
Dined here for lunch with my sister and Dad. We shared the platter and it was served quickly. Too much food for us to even finish between the three of us! It was all tasty and good bbq flavours. Service leaves much to be desired. We had dirty plates left on our table when we'd quite obviously finished for over an hour. The place lacks atmosphere too with the doors left open meaning lots and lots of flies everywhere. The food is good but there are improvements that could be made.
The best American restaurant around! We dined at the new Coorparoo venue and it was amazing! Lovely staff members and a great chef!!! Food was delicious and very well priced.

On route to the B*Witched, Atomic Kitten, S Club 3, East 17, Liberty X Brisbane concert at Eaton Hill Hotel, so had occasion to stumble into this side of Brisbane.
The decor is quite homely American, and 90's US pop music was playing.
I ordered the pork ribs ($24), which came with chips and coleslaw. For a casual dining establishment, a half-rack for that price is tending towards the high side, when compared to places like Ribetts and Carolina Kitchen. The ribs were cooked nicely, and the BBQ sauce was tasty - however, the meat did not feel hot, which detracted from the taste.
The food took under 5 minutes to arrive, which was nice. Again, I was there at a non-peak period at 5:30pm - so do account for this.
Notes:
- EFTPOS costs 50c extra.
- There is handwash gel on the tables, although you can also borrow the keys to use the shopping centre's toilets in the undercover carpark. There was no toilet paper in the male toilets. Not that I needed it (was just there to wash my hands) - just a FYI for you.
- It's quite sad that none of the bands could get all the their members together for the tour. Still, the #NostlagiaTrip was a welcome one. Nothing quite like singing C'est La Vie and The Tide Is High at the top of one's lungs as a guy in public.
Quite nice- a small byo venue with a nice, relaxed ambience. Friendly and helpful staff, maybe a little attentive / hovering given there isn't table service. The food arrived quickly and was good, tasty comfort food. Portions weren't American sized, but were perfectly adequate; particularly considering how much meaty, cheesy and fried decadence is on offer that's a good thing. Prices were quite low- pitched more at a takeaway rather than restaurant price. Definitely worth trying.
I discovered this place about a month ago because my eyes were wandering while stuck in traffic on Enoggera road, and finally decided to try them out this weekend. I had the ribs, chilli cheese fries and a slice of nutella cheesecake.
The chilli cheese fries and the cheesecake were quite good but the ribs was the highlight. Will definitely be back
My wife and I just got home after a huge meal at Pit Boss. We are so full.
The wings were great as was the Got Beef Burger, pulled beef brisket for one, Chilli cheese fries with bacon, beer battered onion rings and blue cheese dressing... Delicious.
Pb and j, and maple smokey bacon ice creams were sensational.
The service was really fast. The two girls working there tonight were very friendly and funny. The chef cooks some awesome food.
We travelled an hour to eat at Pit Boss and were very happy we did.

Besides the table having a mind of it's own, we had a fantastic time. The food was filling and so delicious. Nothing like bringing home left overs in a takeaway container. It was our first time coming too. Thank you to the staff & chefs for a lovely meal/evening. See you next time

Second time here, gad pork ribs for two. Really nice flavours and plenty to eat. The ambiance is basic as is the service but the food is worth it.
Had lunch on Saturday with my son. The decor doesn't scream American BBQ however the food we ordered made up for that. The chilli cheese fries were great, appeared to be a mix of cheddar and monterey jack, with a decent amount of mild chilli mince - good for non-chilli eaters. The brisket burger was very simple, just slaw and a large serve of sticky, thick, saucy brisket - tasted great. My son had nuggets and chips (just pre-done nuggets, but he liked them). The onion rings we shared were good, with a thick cut of onion so was a good batter to onion ratio. Our meals were served well within 10 minutes of ordering. I couldn't finish everything we ordered, was so full! :-)
Delicious! Generous helpings of flavoursome food. Quick, friendly service. A little on the expensive side, but pretty great in every other respect. I recommend upgrading your fries to chilli cheese fries - you won't regret it!
Where else in Brisbane will you find genuine Americana style buffalo wings, corn bread, chilli cheese fries and pumpkin pie!
The servings are generous and well priced, the sauces rich and the service is friendly. This place just cries out 'bring your friends and have a fun night.' A must go for the Brisbane BBQ ribs lover!!!

My mates and I went here tonight and have to say that it was the best BBQ I have had in a long time. I don't understand the negative reviews here cause the food, service were great and the staff were cleaning up the whole time we were there.We recommend the ribs to anyone who goes here. I was licking my fingers good. Sides were also good.

I have to say it is the best feed I have had in a long time, I had the pulled pork and shared ribs with my friend, it was all amazing and even had leftovers to take home. The service was quick and very friendly, I am sure we will return soon .

By far the best BBQ I have had in Qld. I went with 8 family members and they all said the same thing, we are from Sydney but in Qld. on vacation. My family up here suggested we go here and I must say my family and I were impressed. All food delicious. Service was great, even though we didn't have a booking they made room for us. It was a first for us but went here and got take out, the food was really good and the service was excellent. Didn't take long to get our ribs, chicken wings and sides very impressed. We will be back.

Pit Boss, you have made me very happy! And yes, I'm THAT customer that comes in no less than once a week and orders the two lots of BBQ ribs and chilli cheese fries every single time because I have a sad addiction to BBQ'd meat and deep fried food with cheese. If I could physically eat more and not battle with the bulge, I'd also order jalapeño poppers and mozzarella sticks every time as they are out of this world AMAZING. You have absolutely nailed the flavour balance of sweet and tangy with your spicy BBQ ribs - currently can't find ribs in Brisbane that I like better. The meat texture is spot on with caramelisation on the edges and the bone falling off thing it does. Literally crying right now because it's Monday night and you're not open (well not literally) but I'm hooked. And no, I wasn't paid to write this and I'm not buddies with the owner - I just love American BBQ, hate cooking and want to make sure this joint stays in business as otherwise I'm very geographically disadvantaged as far as my food preferences go.
As a big meat lover I have to say I really loved the ribs here, heaps of meat falling off the bone tender. Come up to Brisbane all the time with work so will be going here again.

The food was wonderful, we had a table of 6 and thought they would take awhile to bring our food but my friends and I were surprised, I have to say the service were friendly and we had great afternoon. After hearing about this place from friends took my family to Pitboss, we are from UK but thought we would try. I had to come on here and say that the food was delicious from the first bite to the last. My wife had the buffalo wings and I had the ribs, kids just tried a bit of everything. The staff couldn't have been more inviting, its hard to find a good place to eat that we can take the kids.I wish we had one of these back in UK but we will be eating here again before we leave. We tried Pitboss last night, despite reading the reviews and not really knowing what to expect. We had a group of 9 for a birthday and despite possibly starting off a bit slow with the service (we weren't quite sure where or how to order), things got better and better. The ordering process was relatively quick and simple, and the food came out amazingly quick, within 10 minutes for our entire table. We tried numerous things from the menu, the rib pack where the ribs were delicious and tender (although the corn bread is definitely dry), the chilly cheese fries, buffalo wings and the hot dog with everything on it. Everyone really seemed to enjoy thier food but the ribs were definitely the highlight. Overall we enjoyed our night here, our table was outside but there are multiple heaters set up to keep you warm. We'll definitely be back!
I have been going to Pitboss for awhile now and I have found the food delicious, service is fantastic, the food comes out megga quick, the people are very friendly,I don't know how these people can be so negative on here, have they really been there at all. I wonder. I have taken a lot of my friends there and not one of them had a bad word to say and have been back numerous times.I recommend Pitboss to anyone who loves BBQ I have tried BBQ in the USA and these ribs are just as good if not better than over there. The keylime pie tastes just like it does in states and you can tell its home made YUM
I went with cautious optimism after reading the reviews on here but I ended up enjoying my time there! I ordered ribs for one and chilli cheese fries and they were tasty. Could have done without the random potato cos there was no way you could get through it all. But we ended up splitting key lime and pumpkin pies. Key lime pie was zingy but could have had a little extra ice cream. It was really busy on Friday night but service was prompt. The lack of table service was a concern but being able to book a table did help things a little. I wouldn't write it off completely but do give it a go at least once.

Tiny spot but they pump the food out never have to wait long for my ribs pack and buffaloes....definitely a good fit for my fri night football addiction....ribs addiction and footy addiction perfect fri night :)

Ribs. Its a shame to see Suzy Wong gone but Pit Boss American BBQ & Eats takes the pain away. The ribs were amazing, sided were great and the apple pie was amazing. Very happy with the food and the price. Great value!!!

Tasty, juicy, unforgettable BBQ. I ate here 4 times and all 4 times I had ultra delicious BBQ. There is great choice of lovely meals and friendly staff. One of my favorite places to eat.
Went there last Friday night with a group of friends ! It was BYO which was awesome and we got a nice table outside although they need some heating out there it was very cold. We ordered at the counter which I prefer and within 5 mintites got our delicious meals. I got the ribs for one which was falling off the Bone and a very generous serving. Everyone enjoyed the meals, we will definitely be going again.
The ribs here are amazingly delicous. Me and my gf ate one of the best ribs in our lives. We ate ribs for two with mild sauce.. and a peanut batter pie for desert. Everything tasted AMAZING. Great place!

Amazing American. We ordered ribs for two with mild sauce, a peanut butter pie, and cherry pie. It was amazing. The ribs came with a generous amount of sauce that we ended up soaking up with the chips after we had eaten all the meat. The pies were amazing and the cream they came with was great. The service was fantastic, we ordered just before 8pm on a Saturday night and it took less then two minutes for them to get our take-away order ready. Would definitely recommend.

Great place with delicious bbq. Carparking is major gripe as its always busy as on weekends and hard to get a carpark fri and sat nights but other than that i really like this place. The food is extra delicious, I really love it!
I really really like this place. The ribs are delicious and tender with a nice crisp skin to them. The buffalo wings have such a great kick to them and still manage to retain the flavour!!! The "Asian Lady" I assume is the boss seems very lovely. The staff are treated really well, which makes it a nice place to just sit and chill out. And finally the head waitress there - "Canadian" - is just about the most loveliest person you'll ever meet, not to mention the cutest as well.
