Absolute beast of a restaurant. Great food and service!
Never been a fan of fish but the tempura fish burger was immense. I would also definitely recommend getting the Wagyu cube roll if you're willing to splurge, definitely worth the extra!
Would definitely dine in again in the near future.
Absolutely delicious food, great service, beautiful old building. Reminded us of being in the wonderful restaurants visited in cosmopolitan cities around the world.

A good friend who eats out every day asked me for some inspiration for dinner ideas the other week, and I took it as a good opportunity to check off another place on my list of restaurants to check out, so we made a last minute reservation for the highly popular Nota in Paddington.Ā . It was actually really lucky that we did make that reservation. Even though we were the first ones to arrive, it was a full house that night. I really liked the intimate setup and the rustic vibes of the exposed brick wall.

My wife and I visited NOTA this weekend just passed.
We arrived a little before 6:30pm, and were greeted by the lovely Janika on arrival. We were sat outside, which was warm and cosy and had a great vibe.
We sampled a range of things off the menu, matched with a bottle of wine - as suggested by the staff, and honestly couldnāt find a fault with the whole experience. My wife also enjoyed one of their eclectic fairy floss and raspberry cocktails, which was unique and a lot of fun!
The thing that impressed me the most about this restaurant, however, was the attention to detail Janika and her team paid to not only their patrons, but also their menu. They knew the story behind every dish and where each item of produce was sourced from. Everything had a fascinating story (right down to the edible Violaās - grown by a Janika, in my wifeās cocktail), and that made for an enjoyable experience.
The food was fantastic. Every dish was packed with flavour, every dish was consistently great. The dishes were all brought out in an ordered way to ensure the right mix of light/heavy & savoury/sweeter dishes. Itās a small thing, but makes a huge difference to the experience!
The Agnolotti was our favourite, followed closely by the Buratta, then the Slow cooked octopus, the Puffed Rice Crisp, the Siberian Caviar Blini, rounded out by the Warm Dhal and Lamb dish. Every dish was an 8.5/10 and above though, so it was hard to split them!
We enjoyed ourselves at NOTA. So much so that we forgot to take pics of every dish, but they were all beautifully presented, and very well portioned!
We canāt wait to go back and try more of the menu... Iām thinking weāve definitely found our new go-to! (Sorry Julius!)
What a great meal. Dined at this venue with Thierry for years . This place carries the same great familiar feeling of warmth and professionalism. Attention to service, details and food outstanding. Very accommodating to change. Outstanding.
Had a wonderful experience at NOTA on a chilly Saturday night. Great atmosphere, delicious food and fantastic service (special shout out to Rob who looked after us very wellš¤š»). Left absolutely stuffed having had the Chef's menu. Will certainty be back having moved locally! Keep up the good work guys!
For all of you foodies out there, give this place a try, nothing is too much trouble, the perfectly cooked food is yummy š and the ambience delightful š„° ... a little bit rustic, a little bit European, a touch of elegance in a delightfully busy suburb.

Friendly staff, very quaint dining experience, had the chefs feast menu was very good. Only little criticism was the lamb was alittle small. Will happly return.

Very pleasantly surprised! The food is lovely, and much more than what appears on the menu. Wines are also great and service very attentive. Overall lovely!
