I’ve been in the new Newstead store, hands down the best doughnuts you can get. All flavours are amazing with top quality ingredients, honestly hard to choose one only. If you haven’t tried the waffle with gelato on top yet, definitely give it a go, that deserves 7 stars

Arrived at the shop at 7pm to find it closed. Both Google Maps and their own website said it should be open until 9pm unless sold out, which it obviously wasn't (see image). Went back 15 minutes later, still closed. Walked by an hour after that, and suddenly it was open. I guess employees need breaks sometimes, but at least put up a sign if you are going to be away for more than 15 minutes..
After that much hassle we still decided to try the doughnuts. One was so dry I couldn't eat it, but the other was fine. Overall didn't like the experience.

Evening purchase of a cinnamon with Nutella inside. Below average taste. The donut or doughnut was dry and upsetting. I had dreams of Byron bay doughnuts but I got a mouthful of sand. I would say the quality from woolies and coles store bought donuts would be better. Sad face.

Love the vibe of the store, small and cute. Many vegan options. Very sweet but soo good! My favourite was the Rainbow sprinkled.

Sep2020. Went here for post-dinner dessert and was mesmerised by the bright colours and creative flavours. We bought four doughnuts for a special of $20.<br/>The doughnuts were generously sized, however extremely sweet and moreish. My partner and I could only finish a quarter of a doughnut each (so our doughnuts did last us a few nights). <br/>Service was friendly and efficient. Reasonably priced. No-fuss small shop for takeaway only.<br/>Overall, nice flavours but too sweet. Beware the sugar coma!

Way too sweet. My 2 kids wouldn’t even eat more than a quarter of the doughnuts they bought. My doughnut was too sweet and really dry. Much prefer a Krispy Kreme

Doughnuts were too big and too sweet for me. The ones that we chose were without any filling and I like doughnuts with filling; however, the store was very cute.

Not the healthiest of options but okay for a treat once in a while. Good vegan options which is always appreciated. Some a bit sweet the plan jam one was our fave. A bit dense and a bit pricey, but they are specialty doughnuts !

The doughnuts taste relatively fresh, and are quite pricey, even considering their large size. Overall a good store as it is the only donut place at Southbank.

We made the 40 minute drive on Saturday evening to visit Doughnut Time as a special treat for my 10 year old daughter and paid $18 for parking . Walked around South Brisbane till we found it . The doughnuts looked great but the attendant promptly shut the shop in front of us and said " I've gotta go out for half an hour " at 7:30 pm! <br/>I know it a real first world problem but still pretty annoying!
