Edamame - Brisbane - Photo album

Have tried eating here many times but they're almost always closed. Even on fri/sat night. Ignore the google/window opening times completely. Looks like they're done
The environment is very nice and cozy, the staff is friendly. However, the food is really bad: the ramen tasted like a cold and diluted noodle soup, and the salmon smelled really bad, not because it was not fresh, but because the seasoning was really weird... The miso soup also tasted funny, almost
I was very impressed with how well presented the restaurant was, however we were second to arrive, and several people who came to the restaurant were served and gone before my meal was even delivered to the table. Edamame used to be quite good. As locals we used to go a few times a year, recently we were very disappointed. Too many competing flavours in the new menu. Matcha ice cream was really quite bad too. Shame they got rid of their ramen.
Edamame is a great local Japanese restaurant however the food is often overly complicated and has way too many competing flavours. The service was excellent and the range of drinks is phenomenal however the food was only mediocre.
the staff is friendly, price is ok. I like the food here, they seem recently had a renovation of the interior. But it does take long time waiting for food if the place is crowded.
Miso ramen didn't taste like miso at all, and despite having a beautiful interior and great presentation, it was rather expensive for minimal food.
Service is slow. Our meals came out 20 min apart. Part of the meal was cold. The beer is over priced on tap.
